Way back in the 60s, the RN used to anchor Submarines in Msida. We walked past this area many many times and it was one of the areas that you could get the closest to the subs to have a look

Thanks for the video Steve. Four generations of my husband’s family lived in a house a few doors along from the Avis building. We visit Msida every year and looking forward to seeing the makeover! Hopefully the flooding problems will be resolved and there will be a big improvement all round. 🤞

that hotel opposite was called 'Les Lapins' , the rabbits in english, we used to go there for christmas dinner in the 1980's. it was pulled down and a new building took its place. enjoy the sunny walk.

Very informative, yes very busy junction and has needed for some years to be improved for traffic flow, its quite nice in the middle now but what you showed looks fabulous after it's done and separates the pedestrian from the traffic better.
The improvement you showed with the new like canal will also take the water from B,Kara etc
when it rains. I think it looks great. Thankyou Steve. 👍😊
Ps, never been in church Msida but it looks impressive.

We lived in Pieta from the mid fifties and used to swim in the Creek and watch the horses getting their wash. Happy memories.

Senglea watch tower is the place you struggled to think of Steve. Over in the Gardjola gardens. During the summer we visited Villa Guardamangia where the Queen used to live and then we came a walk down and went around the little harbour/creek. We actually walked the exact way that you did! I ate the worse Ftira of my life at the little kiosk on the middle of the junction, Golden 7 near to the old Luzzu. You walked right past it towards the end. I definitely don’t recommend that place for an Englishman Foodie video 🤣 In regards to people telling you to be a tour guide, I think you have a great life Steve, one I aspire to one day! 📹☀️🚶🏼🇲🇹

LOVELY WALK STEVE. BROUGHT ME LOT OF MEMORIES 🤔 🛥 🌊. Msida was my 1st posting and 'plodded' that area many a times.. However, now I couldn't recognise that place at times. Don't miss that 24/7 traffic noise. Remember lovely Msida GP, Dr Robert Naudi well. He then went into politics as Msida MP (RIP 🙏).
Is "GARDJOLA" what you're looking for? 🤔
    THANKS STEVE 🎥 👏.
