Notice after the two verses when it goes into the middle 8 section with the extended section of screaming. How you visibly see her plant her footing so that her body is braced, grounding herself with good posture to enable her to tolerate to force of the sound coming out. Good growl/scream technique is as much about positioning and body posture as it is about throat relaxation and technique (much like other forms of singing)

The breathing issue with growling vocals is technically solveable by using another technique which you may know about (or may never have heard of?) ... it is 'inhaled vocals' where the vocals are continued while inhaling.. I have heard of this but never specifically seen it on video. I have zero information, however, if it is damaging to the vocal chords or not and I would definitely recommend finding out before using the technique.

My first introduction to a woman screaming like that was Otep- Bloodpigs. Great band, you should react to them!

Ginger likes Jinjer, go figure :) Seriously, good reaction. It is nice to see people expanding their horizons. I would like to recommend "Beggar's Dance". There is no official video for it, but it is on TH-cam. Even if you decide not to make a video on it, I think you might enjoy it.

A band for you to consider is Wishbone Ash and their song The King WIll Come from the album Argus. They are believed to be the first band to use a dual lead guitar and this prog album was released in 1972. I don't believe it has ever been remastered so you have the original compression to about 30 db of headroom but it is still a masterpiece.

Hey, Beth, you could check out Steve Hogart of Marillion. His is such a emotional live performer. A good song for checking is Neverland, live version. He's really good singer and has a good control of mic.

I know that Slaughter to Prevail - Demolisher is a bit overdone, but I am very interested what she will say about it! Won't we make it happen?

"Who'd have thought Reggae and Metal?" Actually, plenty of people. I was listening to bands like Bad Brains, Pennywise, Authority Zero and Skindred 20+ years ago combining Reggae with Punk, Hard Rock, Alternative Rock, etc.. May not be very mainstream but it's definitely been out there a long time. Ska music mixing Rocksteady, Reggae and other forms of blues and rock has been around since the 1950s.

Excellent as always, love your videos. I hope one day you react to The Dear Hunter, "Mustard Gas", "A Night on the town" or "We've got a score to settle (live)" are a good place to start...
