Hi angus that would rely on fusion deciding to integrate something like this and we all know that ain't happening.
I already have some issues using my current touch pad maybe you should use both a cheap one and this and see how they compare in your experience. I love your videos

Yeah but kind of disappointed they mentioned Ableton as having great MPE support, since Bitwig Studio had it years earlier and its support is in much better state.

I am so jealous and happy you have done this review! I am an old Microsoft Certified Engineer on Win2K but went back to school in 2018 for Audio Engineering in Toronto. I have been into Music Production since before MIDI spec 1.0 and was cutting edge DJ with P.A. setup in High School. Anyway I would have loved to do this review! THANK YOU and SENSEL. I was thinking about whether to get ROLI gear but your review made me rethink the coolness factor and ease of use. I cannot wait until your video on what kind of specs are needed to run a powerful Music PC.

Dude just the other day I was thinking about how much you guys generally ignered the music production side of cumputing. I'm glad now you are doing a bunch of videos related. The morph has been pretty known in the music scene for a while, but I've never seen anyone use it as their main creative output, they generally just have it as a novelty

The first time I'm looking at the credits to see who the writer is and I can't even know the answer yet. Linus talking about daws felt disconnected since it just never happens.

I felt the same lol. I’m honestly pretty surprised. Then again I could see Linus as someone, who probably dabbled a bit into music as well. Pretty sure it was his writer though that did this one, whoever that is.

DJ and producer here and I actually find this interesting as a creative tool for music production. Also, the fact that it can also do other things is great. The price tho, I think it's just a bit too high. If only it was a little cheaper, I would consider buying one of these.
It does everything automation can do. Nothing new. Get the vst they recommended and you'll get the exact same sounds they got in the video.
@@ThatFilmisGnarly Well, sure. But it's like the difference between drawing notes on a piano roll and playing on a real keyboard. Sometimes it's just faster and better to use the piano roll, but sometimes, when you are looking for some sort of creativity, playing on a keyboard is just better. And I feel it's the same thing here. Sure I can do all the stuff with automations, but playing with something like this might help to be more creative. That's also why I said I would consider buying it only if it was cheaper.
@@ThatFilmisGnarly While that is true, if you’re proficient at playing it is much faster just recording something than writing and automating with a mouse and keyboard. For some people that time saved is much cheaper than the device itself!

I hope they are able to get DPC latencies low for real-time playback. That's the real challenge when building an audio workstation.

Because hardware configurations play a HUGE part in low DPC latencies. Nvidia drivers "CAN" play HAVOC with REAL-TIME playback. AMD graphics tends to do bettter. So does Windows optimizations and hardware selections. The more plug ins loaded simultaneously and low DPC latencies the better. Select your hardware wisely on an audio workstation.
GearSlutz.com is a good starter. Especially in the 'today, we build our DAW" thread. It's full of trial and error posts.

Goes to show how well Linus is able to translate the team’s research into short and concise vids. If they wanted they could hire a couple of experts and take a big chunk of that sweet delicious online music gear review pie and instantly become one of the bigger players. Thing is that smaller TH-camrs who currently do these reviews aren’t able to go head to head with bigger companies and in turn take their sponsorships and give great reviews to make money. LTT wouldn’t have this problem as I’m sure they, as a company, have a higher revenue than most synth companies for example. If they would branch out into this market it would be something unheard of at that scale and might change the market for good. Buuuutttt unless this video is meant as a resume to music companies, not going to happen..

Loving the varity of content lately. I think audio and midi are two very interesting subjects that i would love to see more content about.
As a musician, I haven't related to an LTT video this much since I built my computer a year ago. It would be amazing to see more electronic music tools being covered within LMG. And I for one, would watch religiously.

So I've been straight up binge watching all the content you folks put out. Because of your shows I've taken apart my ps3 (it's all I got), cleaned the fan and heat sink and cleaned and applied new thermal compound. It totally made the system run way better. I've also taken apart the three very very outdated laptops we have and done the same thing as the ps3 with them, all having amazing results!! I hope that one of your staff see this comment because I really want to thank you guys and gals!!! I would also love it if during your episode about music hardware and software if you could show a way somebody could manage to get a good result spending little to no money using the hardware they already have, like maybe an old Dell inspiron with an i3, maybe???? I know I know, 2 core and 4 thread ain't much. I'm still without work because of covid and I'd love to record and compose music to pass the time and not feel like I'm doing nothing. Thanks again to all of you at LTT!!!! You've given me some much needed inspiration!!
