Yeah you can live remote here.. But forget about local jobs, shops, schools, post etc.. You have to drive everywhere, at OUR petrol prices....And if you go north, add long distances, cold, and self reliance.... When you have 200km to the nearest shop it adds up...

While Cyprus has 1.2 million people or so, Vilhelmina has 6000! I grew up outside it.. I lived close to the town, only had 40km or so to schools and shops. You have Kiruna county, which has about one inhabitant per square kilometer.. It is half the size of the Netherlands.. The Netherlands has 17.5 million people, Kiruna has 22,000. SO YES.. There are places where people live and have that far to a shop!!!!! There are even a couple of Villages in Sweden where the only road goes through Finland first.. Stop assuming you know best, dude!

I left Sweden and bought a château instead of living with the cold and often unfriendly Swedish population (unless they have some drinks)
i did that..10 years down south sweden but to much burglars from eastern europe . got my house robbed 2 times and then i had it
