More importantly it's the heat pressure that builds up inside the car when you are parked somewhere with the windows all the way up. This will cause the heat inside of the car to build up and push pressure out on the windshield when you have an existing crack and calls it to crack out faster than just heat itself

It’s been extremely hot the past 4 days and my windshield cracked randomly. Opposite side of where a chip is though.

Subaru is having cracking issues with some of their 2017 to 2019 cars, Their is a class action lawsuit against them. Call this lawyer in Philadelphia, Peter Muhic, law firm is Carlson Lynch LLC.

it sounds like theyre still having those issues. People on forums with 2020s, 21s, and even 22s have all made complaints about the cracked windshield problem subaru has been having. Some ppl have had the windshield crack less than 6 months after getting it replaced...

I work as a windshield repair technician and all of them are trash except for Ford because their OEM carlite windshields are 10 lb heavier in about an eighth of an inch thicker
