It's a shame that improper application of the product causes viewers to blame the product rather than the persons who clearly had not clue as to what they were doing. I can't really blame them because the simple instructions supplied with this "kit" do not make it clear that the windshield needs pressure from the inside to allow the resin to fully flow inside. There are other videos that show this technique clearly and the results look like the windshield never had a crack.
BTW those little suction cup "injectors" don't open up the crack - they still the inside helper.
The resin works. The windshield just isn't being repaired properly. You have to use a tool that attaches to the windshield from inside the vehicle. It straddles the crack with suction cups. Then there is a rod in the middle that you line up with the crack and screw in towards the windshield applying pressure directly on the crack. This spreads the crack open so that it can be filled with the resin. The resin also needs to be applied with a q-tip dipped in resin. Start at the lowest parts of the crack and slowly move it upwards. Allow the resin to be pulled into the crack before advancing the q-tip. If you start from the top and work down, the resin will just run down and over the crack leaving air pockets. When finished applying the resin, go back inside the car and relieve the pressure by unscrewing the center rod on the tool allowing the crack to come back together. This will squeeze out any excess resin. Go ahead and remove the tool or slide it along and repeat for longer cracks. Then apply the curing strips. 👍

You did that all wrong. Put your hand inside and push pressure onto the cracks as you pour the liquored on so it can fill the gap as the gap will be slightly apart by the pressure. Don't kill people's hope with a fake video just cause you can't follow instructions
I have the same kit... it halfway worked on my hail damage crack.. I see splinters of the crack... wanted to try heat... like a heat gun... I really have nothing to lose..

The resin wasn't applied correctly. Missing was a helper sitting inside to push against the glass to slightly open the crack on the outside of the plastic center membrane. This would have allowed the resin to flow into the crack and you would have seen it disappear. This wasn't a video showing a bad product, but a video showing improper application.

This kind of products only help with chipping. It cannot fix or glue cracks and no real glass repair company will claim otherwise.

Sure we cannot see the crack but the crack still there. With how hot, then sudden rain pour cold and repeat the crack may appear again😅. The only fix permanently is change windhield. I also did this for fast fix but if it become worse claim insuran

Resin only works on spot where you have chipping
For long crack it in middle of the glass layers and there is no way resin will reach . You can keep applying from top but nothing will happen
Actually it does work, you just need to watch the videos where they follow the correct application technique. They just squirted the resin onto the closed crack, but what they should have done was have a helper inside pressing against the windshield to force the outside crack slightly open so the micro-resin could run in. Had they done that you would have seen the crack disappear as they moved along.
So u cant see the crack from outside? if thats the thing its a success.

When you use your wipers you can actually see the water in the crack. Therefore the resin will work

This is not how you use this product. Filler needs to be put in between the windshield layers either through a drill hole or the crack chip itself. Just putting this on the outside and then scraping it back off wouldn't fix anything.
