He said he remembered his sins too. Maybe it reminded him of a similar sin.
Obviously men don't suffer as much since they dont deliver the baby or keep it. It's harder for a woman since she has more consequences. Perhaps he saw it as a chance to redeem himself?

Everyone who says that the husband made a wrong move should (A)refer to 3:30 of the video and should ponder on one more fact. (B) If the man did make a wrong move, he would not have been blessed with the companionship of the Holy Prophet(SAW) in janaah.
At the end of the day Allah said that he will forgive everything but shirk which is the greatest sin. At the same time, if anyone reverts He also forgives them.❤ If Allah can forgive them then who are we humans to judge?☺

“A person must not allow his fear of people to withhold him from speaking the truth if he learns of it.”
