No doubt the Prophet Muhammed (s) advised Muslims to not make a public diplay of sins but to keep sins hidden. For one thing, this prevents encouraging others.
But on the other hand, if a girl is pregnant from Zina, taking the life of the unborn child is not the way to hide a sin. Marrying and dealing with pregnancy helps.
