    Hey man, I noticed that you used to ride a Dominar 400, I'm curious about how it's compared to the Scrambler 400x when riding, mostly in terms of vibration. I've tested ride the dominar last Saturday and I didn't like it tbh, so I'm curious if I'd enjoy the Scrambler as much as you did on this test.

    • @muscledrider
      @muscledrider  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Yes, I had the 2019 Dominar 400. Dominar was also a good motorcycle for that time. Scrambler in comparison feels a lot different. Mainly suspension is lot lot better(plush and softer), also the bike is lot lighter, slim and sharp to handle. The bad thing is Dominar has not changed much and they have not upgraded the bike asper the recent comparison. Note: Dominar is more of a cruser and scrambler is more of a do it all (light offroad and trail riding, very good city bike and decent tourer)

      @@StefanosAndritsios I own speed 400 and it’s bit cramped for Touring 2up with luggage. Scrambler would be 10% more spacious. Due to tall hight more relaxed seating and split seats. If luggage rack is added.

    Bro i got my scrambler a month ago (first service done) and as you said i expected the scrambler to have more pull / better acceleration than the speed 400. But, when i went for a ride with my speed400 friend on the highways he was flying while i had a hard time to catch up. When i rode is speed400 it felt VERY much faster than my scrambler. What are your thoughts on this? I cant seem to get an answer to this anywhere online. Maybe it has to do something with the ecu?

    • @muscledrider
      @muscledrider  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@frostify98 it has to do with different sprocket setup. Scrambler will pull stronger in initial. But speed will be more agile and quicker due to 17inch front and rear wheels, sticky street tyres, firm suspension, sharper handling and light in weight.
      But the difference will be very minor.

  • @adityapatil4807
    @adityapatil4807 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I test rode the Speed 400 and Scram 400 back to back, I felt that Speed 400 has more character and a Personality while the Scram 400 on the other hand is a motorcycle which is doing good in sales but overall it lacks character maybe it compensates that in touring, My question to you is that do you think the same ? And if not for the height issue you would've gone for the scram 400 ? I am 5ft 8 inches and seat height isn't an issue for me, I would like your opinion because I personally am leaning towards the Speed 400.

    • @muscledrider
      @muscledrider  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes I kind of feel the same. But I still feel that scrambler is more versatile (checking extra boxes for riding on off-road and bad roads)
      I recently have travelled to many locations on speed and it feels comfortable.
      Yes if I would have got the chance to test the scrambler then I might have went for that.
      But also I don’t regret on my choice. Totally satisfied with the speed. 🙂
