After riding Himalayan for 07 years and Scrambler for 3 months that too in city, highway and hills ride I have observed some points which may be issues for some or may be not, this will helpful to u guys before buying this beast. I was so confused between Himalayan 450 and 400x,but frankly i was so inclined towards 400x,i took the test ride of 400x she really impressed me ,but I felt pain on my right elbow, not only me even the rider who took the test ride after me he too complained about the pain he felt, and we thought that might issue with the handle of test ride bike,so the next day i again went to Triumph Siliguri and this time i took my brother along with and i didn’t mention anything about the pain to him,I asked the dealership for the another test ride bike and my brother took the ride,as soon as he returned his first complain was the similar pain which I experienced, that was a heart break for me so went to RE and booked Himalayan 450 though didn’t got the delivery till date,I found people sharing their similar pain experience on the TH-cam comment section, but why no body is highlighting that issue still confused, I am in love with this 400X
Bro frankly speaking mild hand pains i also faced in initial rides because that much of wide handle bar os not common in indian market, but after riding 1k kms i became ised to it and no pain after that. Just a suggestion this bike is far ahead of Himalayan 450 in each and every parameter for touring just better windblast protection is having edge on Himalayan that it. Don’t forget to subscribe, if u haven’t 😊👍
even i noticed strain on my shoulder when i tested with pillion but i saw video of bigbear youtuber who mentioned about posture for bikes with wider handler bar. your elbow should be out a bit than regular bike
@PiyushPatel10 bro that because the riding posture is different which u are riding currently, u will get used to it in future it has widest handle bar in this segment. Plz do subscribe if u haven’t, it will motivate me bro 😊👍
I also own one and has done 2k kms. Sorry I cannot agree with the cruising at 120 as you mentioned. The engine feels stressed post 100 and heavily stressed post 115
I 💯 percent agree with you on the headlight illumination part. The light throw is very weak and is not adequate even in city conditions Aux lights are def needed if you are planning for highway touring.

All valid points Kaushik. The one that really pinches me the most is the smaller fuel tank. I hope at some stage there is an option to get a bigger one.

@@Kaushik_Pravesh I did Chakrata and Rohru not long after you went to Chanshal. The bike was very new and the mileage was low. I think from memory, the low fuel light came in at around 180 kms. But when I & my friend took a test ride recently, there was no issues about the elbow pain but one concern was the engine heat when we stand still. The showroom rep said it will cool down in 5mins. Is that right ?
See the less air intake the more engine will heat, accordingly radiator will extract more heat from engine and can be feel on legs in case of stand still, there is nothing wrong in this, it’s a process of each and every bike and its normal. When bike in run air intake will be more heat will be less, after riding more than 10k kms I don’t feel this bike has any heating issues.
It all depends on ur riding style bro, if u want to have HD name in ur garage, likes cruisers then u can go for it, otherwise Scrambler 400x is far far better then 440x in terms of build quality, ride quality, features, all terrain accessibility and slightly lighter on pocket as well.
Aapka height kitna hai? . Ye bike Himalayan ka comparision mein bahut chota lag raha hai. Lekin engine bahut bada hai. Kya ye 1000kms round trip ke liye suitable hai?

Bro try to full the tank to the last point and ride 30-40kms and again fill the tank upto the same level or u can watch my mileage test vlog for reference….i hope u will get improved mileage👍
Darshil both bikes are from different segment, 400X is lightweight, feature rich, well built & gud for city use & can be used for touring as well, but GT650 is a cafe racer will give u the big bike feel and the engine grunt is gud. If i wanted to buy one bike for all purposes then its a 400X, if i wanted to buy just to show off then its GT 650, rest i suggest u to take test ride of both bikes once👍
@@darshilpatel2282 Brakes are better in Continental GT because you get a feel and modulation (I own an Interceptor and my brother owns a Scram 400X). Control wise scram is much better because its lighter in weight, gets good suspension and better chassis. Engine wise Continental GT is good because its a two cylinder (less vibes and more torque). It touches 100KMPH at 4000 RPM or less. Even mileage wise GT is good because despite having an extra cylinder and 150 more CC, it gives similar mileage to Scram. Horns are better in GT. Seating and comfort is top class on Scram.
Hi bro, I do not have any tapped or knocking sound in my Scram. I suggest u better compare this thing in the triumph service center with another Scram.
Bro i own interceptor right now Want an allround bike ,is scram 400x a good bike Interceptor se downgrade toh ni feel hoga I m confused btw 390adv and 400x scrambler triumph
You will enjoy 400X light handling & agility in city traffic, it's power on highways, best in segment low end torque on mountain twisties, suspension is more than sufficient for all types of touring terrain (not for jumps), best premium looks in the segment fit n finish is as Triumph big bikes, but wind blast is there beyond 120kmph speed. KTM 390 Adv is also gud bike but in 6-8 months it's new version is coming. I suggest u go and test ride it once manmeet bro u will have more clarity, rest u can watch my other vlogs as well 👍
@@Kaushik_Pravesh thanks bro Actually interceptor is great on highways but other then that it feels heavy so i m neglecting himalayan for same reason Btw 390adv and triumph i wana choose
Yeah I can modify the seat aftermarket to decrease the seat height as there is no option available at Triumph, I'm fine with the stock seats height bro👍
Bro frankly speaking all 3 colours are dope pick anyone u will not regret, i picked red just because its glossy shiny and i personally love RED colours thats it….👍
Hi Pravesh - I've bought the Scrambler in December inspired by your videos. Yes you have rightly highlighted the negative points. But you've missed one major which can cause injury ( other points only cause discomfort) as I experienced today re Engine Stalling at low speed/RPM . The bike fell as I was trying to manoeuvre in a narrow space in a crowded market on a downward slope Did you not experience engine stalling at all ?? I continue to have this problem despite the software update & a number of people all over India have reported it. Please do cover this problem in one of your future videos - I'm sure you'll find many of your subscribers who have faced a similar problem. Triumph has not yet found a permanent solution to this problem after all these months which is a pity as overall the Scrambler is such a good product. Your videos are very informative.Keep up the good work

My height is 5.9' bro, it will fit u well, 100kg is not an issue for this beast even it can take 100kg pillion easily and u will not feel a power lag.
@@Kaushik_Pravesh thanks for the swift response. Appreciate it
Pleasure is mine bro👍
I live next to a Triumph showroom.
Great then u can skip the last one 😉👍
Hi Bhai, im facing too much heat from engine on my scram 400. Are you facing any such issues?
Get latest ECU updated bro, also from where u belongs because hot weather makes it more hot, i belongs to delhi so, due to winters i m not facing such issue as of now.
1600 km done
milaege is 24-25 in city... slightly dissapointed
Bro try to full the tank to the last point and ride 30-40kms and again fill the tank upto the same level or u can watch my mileage test vlog for reference….i hope u will get improved mileage👍
Sir scrambler 400x ya gt650 achha he ??
Darshil both bikes are from different segment, 400X is lightweight, feature rich, well built & gud for city use & can be used for touring as well, but GT650 is a cafe racer will give u the big bike feel and the engine grunt is gud.
If i wanted to buy one bike for all purposes then its a 400X, if i wanted to buy just to show off then its GT 650, rest i suggest u to take test ride of both bikes once👍
@@Kaushik_Pravesh thank you sir 🤍
@@Kaushik_Pravesh sir in 2 bike me kiska mileage, break controls and other controls kiska achha hai ??
I own a Honda
But RE deserves Respect for their Magnitude and Models
Honda is gud👍
Does central stand come as an accessory?
No bro
Hi bro, do u have any you check engine tapped noise. I have in mine. Service center guys says its normal 😞
Hi bro, I do not have any tapped or knocking sound in my Scram.
I suggest u better compare this thing in the triumph service center with another Scram.
Whats your height....need
reference
My height is 5.9 brother.
Bro i own interceptor right now
Want an allround bike ,is scram 400x a good bike
Interceptor se downgrade toh ni feel hoga
I m confused btw 390adv and 400x scrambler triumph
You will enjoy 400X light handling & agility in city traffic, it's power on highways, best in segment low end torque on mountain twisties, suspension is more than sufficient for all types of touring terrain (not for jumps), best premium looks in the segment fit n finish is as Triumph big bikes, but wind blast is there beyond 120kmph speed.
KTM 390 Adv is also gud bike but in 6-8 months it's new version is coming.
I suggest u go and test ride it once manmeet bro u will have more clarity, rest u can watch my other vlogs as well 👍
@@Kaushik_Pravesh thanks bro
Actually interceptor is great on highways but other then that it feels heavy so i m neglecting himalayan for same reason
Btw 390adv and triumph i wana choose
What’s your height bro? I’m 5’8 . Will height be a problem?
I m 5.9' bro, yeah I think u can manage it👍
I wish i saw this review earlier, very insightful. Thanks for the video Kaushik bro
Thanks alot bro, keep supporting 👍🙌🏼
@@Kaushik_Pravesh will keep on supporting you brother!
Kya ye bike 2lacs kilometres cover karega lifetime mein?.
Long life tikna chahiye.
Abhi tak to lagta h ki chal jana chahiye par sawaal ye h ki 2 lac kms chala kon payega bhai😉
can you decerese the seat height??
Yeah I can modify the seat aftermarket to decrease the seat height as there is no option available at Triumph, I'm fine with the stock seats height bro👍
Kya iss bike se speed mein hi sharp trun le sakte hai ?
Bhai woto depend karta h rider k skills par.
Bajaj should start providing servicing by getting an contract from Triumph. the nearest showroom from my home is 200kms away.
Agreed this will improve Triumphs sale and ease of after sale service for customers as well bro👍
@@Kaushik_Pravesh i am from asansol and the nearest triumph showroom is either kolkata or ranchi. Just imagine !! 😅💀
Tough h bhai, servicing cum long ride hojayegi apki to kabhi Kolkata kabhi ranchi😉

Bro which is the best looking color 400x

Your videos are very informative.Keep up the good work
Atul mere bhai, even i have not noticed at the tym of editing and even after watching my vlog several tyms, if u watch my this vlog again i jumped directly on 3rd point after explaining the 1st point of wind blast, after reading ur comment i again checked my vlog and observed this and checked the list also ki yaar stalling issue to likha bhi tha or explain bhi kiya tha par video me kyun nai h, its a error from my side bro, i will surely share this in my nxt vlog and explain it properly.
Thanks for ur luv and Keep supporting ….stay tuned for nxt vlog ur name will be coming up now🙌🏼👍
Surprisingly Varanasi me Triumph ne showroom open kar diya hai.
Yeah they are expanding silently, 400’s are getting great response in India…..enjoy ur rides👍

Sir I am one of your subscriber since you bought the bike. I have watched every single videos but due to heavy work pressure I don't regularly watch sometimes it gets late. But I watch your videos. Thanks alot for love and support bro❤️, if u want to take the experience of twin cylinder grunt and wana flaunt in front of ppl around u then interceptor is gud option, if u likes to go and explore places for touring and want to have better bike handling, ride quality, premium built quality, better brakes, traction control, light weight then u must buy Scrambler undoubtedly bro u will not regret😉

Bro
You're mentioning issues like wind blast, side stand, heating, vibrations, electronics. What the hell dude. Heat, vibration all are the nature of a 400cc bike, you shouldn't complain it at all. Its stupid to point out all these.
Then, are you gonna use side stand all day to bother you that much, and wind screen, its a scrambler dude, none of the subscribers are gonna use it daily highways. Mostly people use this for daily use in streets. Its absolutely timeless information thats gonna be useful. State real issues bro. Im disappointed by this video
Bro i mentioned what i found and those minor or major issues may be relevant to someone or not depending on requirements. May be these are not useful to u but useful for others its just what i felt bro
Bhai ye bike mujhe hadd se jyada pasand h, or iss duniya me kuch bhi perfect nai hota, ussi tarah iss bike me bhi kuch kamiya h, joki mera farz Banta h apne viewers k sath share karna, apko mere baki k vlogs bhi dekhne chahiye tab shayad thoda clarify ho jayega ki how much I love this bike.

What?
@@Kaushik_Pravesh if people has wind blast problem just buy a car simple as that...
Then why some bikes have wind screen to protect from windblast bro...
@@Kaushik_Pravesh are you seriously thinking that wind shield protect riders from wind???? Whatever bike you ride..only helmet can protect your face from wind ....and the example of Himalayas is totally not make any sense ....95% of people use small wind shield just to show off maybe they like that looks..so windshield is just for looks..maybe you talking about that 5% people who thought windshield may protecting them from wind ..😅 i just stop watching your video from the pont of windshield example ..
