Why use this or an mxr splitter that cost so much? I use a berhringer reverb pedal that cost $25 and I can use it passively without a power cable to the pedal as well and I’ve never had any problems out of any amps I’ve used this with.
Does the tranformer on output 2 work as an output buffer / line driver as well or should I get another device for that, if I need to run a 10m cable to an amp?
hi! i'd like to ask you about cables... (guitar - Y-Box - 1 to my tube amp head, 1 to my interface for dry signal) what kind of cables should i use? (I didn't find any info about the jack connectors of the Y-box and haven't got a user manual) TRS or unbalanced??? can i use TRS cables (i already have 2 pieces...)??? thank You for the answer and sorry if it is a stupid question.
I'm looking to play at Fender Strat though two Fender amps.. one amp set at a sound and the other amp set at a different sound. This box will do that, yes? Any recommendation on cables for the job? Cheers, Grey
If i run this into my DI, does that mean i can record two tracks at the same time? Because i want to have two identical tracks, one with an amp and one just strait clean into the DI so i can re-amp it in my DAW. Do i need anything else between the splitter box or can i run it just strait in?
@@PalmerGermany Could I chain two of these neat little units to get 3 outputs? I Would love to have two signal with one amp one multi effects unit and one DI into an audio interface.
Yes it does!
of course it does
Yes you can with the DUETTO (also from Palmer).
Search on our website for DUETTO or PDUETTO.
Cheers!

Will this splitter work with an acoustic guitar? I use LR Baggs Anthem pickup system.

Yes, it works as an output buffer :)
@@PalmerGermany Great, thanks!
Can it work passively, or is power neccesary?
Is the Y-Box only designed for amps only?I am interested in Y'ing my gtr out to a board and then to an ipad. Which Palmer product do you recommend?
i need a video explain the Palmer CAB M Merger
please
Inside are Palmer transformers. 100 % handmade by Palmer in Neu-Anspach, Germany. Our transformers are comparable to Jensen and better.

But does this pedal when using disrupt the volume ie split the volume do i need more volume when putting this pedal in my chain?

Teutone Yes this will work fine. Use the output "AMP 1" to go to your DI.
PalmerGermany Thanks! I already put down an order with Thomann.

Sure, it just splits up your guitar signal…. Anything that accepts a guitar signal may be used in conjunction with the Y-Box
What transformer are inside ? Jensen ?
Can't you have 2 guitar ins going to one (mixed) out?
why bother having a video with such little information?
