The buisness are living better and the guys who are above them all the way to the top it's built to keep people working endlessly to consume to power the rich...ask yourself why you need a president can we not lead ourselves I can go on for hours with this but I hope I've shared enough I've put myself in alit of situations because I felt lied to my entire life and I saw how things functioned and I felt and still do that they are they sell the food the water back to us for convenience when it was here for free with a little work they took the land that was here for us to share and live upon and sold it back to us and built roads everywhere to tax us and charge us upon for travel when we should have a write to travel it's quite a wild place when you think about it and how long it's gone on and how we all got fooled and eventually through time slowly integrated into thinking it was all the way it's supposed to be but it's not you have one life that if you don't spend time enjoying it now you will be old before you know it and look back on all the wasted time shoot you might think you had a good life but you only have this one that you are currently in and it's the only one we can remember if there is more to the afterlife so we should be living loving enjoying and probley being more helpful for one another then we currently are alot of people spend more time on there phones then they do being on earth in essence life is complicated I just gave you a few observances I've noticed and they arnt always one direction they fluctuate in many varibles create and rearrange them every sec but for the most part they can be seen daily as the way things are and have been find your creative side and get good at something something that if you wish to have some money you can use to sell look at what makes money if your not creative enough and come up with ways to produce those things and sell them look at problems and design solutions make your own monopoly and trust me im not as educated as you I supose but I do read and I learn what interests me and what problems exist I'm learning to monopolize on so I can secure some land land is Gold even though they charge ypu 30 years for land crazy but maybe there's reasons for that and maybe it just should be ..be part of this and be a voice to change the system if you choose and God bless

This video touched a nerve. I hope my story can serve as HOPE for you. Roughly in 1983 I became homeless after both my parents died. Father in high school in 1978 and mother in 1982. Another factor was a hard Drug habit (heroin) that started in 1972. I lived with my dog in an abandoned house in Ronkonkoma NY and my neighbor gave me an electrical cord hook-up because they felt sorry for me and I used to do work for them (which they never really needed). I showered (or bathed) at the local lake in the summers and every few days at a YMCA that I bought a $5 day day pass in the winters. I siphoned fuel oil from the laundromat underground tank when I did my laundry through a hole in my uninsured-unregistered car in the trunk to get fuel for my heater. I stole the expired yogurts and milk from the back of the supermarkets they would return and stole the crushed aluminum cans on he loading dock that came out of the recycle machines and sell them at the scrap yard. I realized my situation could go 2 ways, death or slavery to the government system or sobriety with freedom. I opted for the second. It was hard but I placed myself in a 21 day detox program and then eventually got on a long term program. The thing was, I set a end date goal for myself to get off and be independent. I constantly reduced my methadone dose. I lived with my dog also, and ate mostly rice and wonton soup, and those stolen yogurts but I always made sure I went shopping on Fridays and bought a steak or shrimp to eat with money I earned. I was buying those 25 cents cans of dog food all week for the dog, but on Friday's she got ALPO chunky beef as well. This simple statement enabled myself to know that things could and would be better, but it was something that only I could control. In 1992 I had completely left all drug programs and was independent and self sufficient to where I could sustain a small apartment and take care of myself. In the ensuing years I found a nitch and was able to build a civilian career, and also went into the Military. Now I am months away from retirement with adequate savings, a primary small home and a vacation home in Puerto Rico. During this time of normalization, I always tried to help those around me that needed guidance. I realize its much harder now to get back on your feet, and in all honesty I'm not sure I would have the success I did in todays world. But one thing doesn't change, never loose hope of normalcy, make a plan, set goals and if you can once a week or perhaps once a month do something for yourselves that is a normal activity for a non-homeless person. Mine was shrimp/steak& chunky ALPO for my dog. Don't fall prey to the government. They want you as a slave. Only accept the bare minimum you need from them to survive, then replace it with self sufficiency. Don't trade slavery to a drug habit if that's part of your situation to slavery to the government. God made us free men and woman, he can help you find a path to achieve this once again even when we occasionally fall of the path. He's not going to drop a bag of money for you to work your way out, but He'll provide you the intellectual guidance to figure it out. Good luck>

This breaks my heart. I'm so sorry for what you all are going through right now. And grateful beyond measure for my father. He took me in when I lost my home during the Covid quarantine. I was so dissociated during that time I had made no plans for what to do after the foreclosure. Today, my town and the larger town next to us have reaped many financial benefits from that terrible little blip in the world's history. Many businesses and improvements to the infrastructure. But, a stark reminder of how cold and sometimes heartless people became is the obvious growing homeless population. I'd say there has been at least a 300% rise in our homeless population in the past few years. They are everywhere and a person can never have enough supplies in their vehicle or wherever, on hand to help when we can. It's so sad. This morning, very early, I was at my storage garage. As I pulled into the building there was a man with his grocery cart trying to find a way into the building. As I reached my unit I could hear people elsewhere lifting doors and shuffling up and down the walkways. My truck was the only one in the garage and there had been no vehicles in the parking lot. And this isn't even the first storage facility I've rented from where homeless people have had to try to make their home. Our mayor tears down historic buildings regularly to make way for shiny new ones without a second thought as to how many people would be thrilled to benefit from one of these gorgeous, solid landmarks. I don't understand how we got so far removed from taking care of people and their basic needs. Your father? I bet it crushes you to see him in his last years not able to have his own home and those comforts. That stability and safety. I pray that human beings find their way back to being human and we figure this out. When MegaChurches start building MegaShelters and Mega FoodCo-ops for those that need them it'll be a start. All my love and prayers go out to you.

Pacific Garden Mission in Chicago will help them. They will have to leave everything and just take themselves. Everything is provided free of charge food, medical and dental care. They have detox programs and help with job placement and housing with the person is ready to go back out on their own. They are a Christian Mission- NO government affiliation or funds do they take. This Mission has been solely operated on donations for the last 147 years. It's an incredible place. It's a place I financially support. You can find their TH-cam channel. But a person has got to want a different life for themselves which always means coming to the end of doing things their way-- the way that's not working. @@archangelauriel007 you're very brave. I spent time homeless a long time too years ago .. I slept under a freeway that was being built. The things I went through to get a roof. I live in the woods in an old loggers bar turned into a home. Leaky..drafty.. burned wood til we got too sick to get our own. Almost froze to death one winter. Had to turn to the county for help. I never asked for anything before but I went and did ..felt like I was begging. I was a hard worker too. Hurt on the job and then beg for help there too. Now my diabetes shot was due Yesterday. I can't get it til Wednesday probably. FDA said nothing available bc the drug is being used by obese people who want to lose weight. Just organizing that space and using more of the vertical space would go a long way. I’m not bashing anyone and I’m sure that “spring cleaning” is the last thing anyone in this type of situation would want to spend valuable time and energy on, but just some thoughts…
-Make a platform over the dogs bed for another (human) bed. Maybe use the mini fridges and some scrap boards?
-scoot everything that must be on the floor to the walls, hang other lighter weight stuff as high as possible
-keep the bikes chained up outside, maybe covered by a tarp. Pass the chain through the wheels to avoid theft.
-pack things away that are rarely used and move them to the least trafficked part of the shelter.
I’m just imagining how much less cluttered the mind is when it doesn’t have the visual cues of something disheveled.
Again, I’m not hatin. The stuff I proposed is free, I don’t want to seem insensitive to the lack of money.

We've tried making me a bed up high, but I get stuffed up if I get too warm, and it's going on summer now. And we do use as much vertical space that we can. This cage structure is held together with twisties and bungees, so it's not that strong. Thanks for the ideas though, you didn't offend me.

And you are free to make the change you want to see , yourself , but you are going to have to work for it , lot harder than complaining to politicians I would guess . People are so hyper focused on buying the most frivolous things and of course I can be guilty of this too but in my older age have gotten INFINITELY better at my outrageous wasteful spending. I enjoy toys sure, but I'll buy a toy thats going to last me years like this gaming pc I built for $1,000 seems like quite a bit of money but I've already had it for a year and it'll probably last me at least a few more years. 80% of my job is on this computer, I also use it for entertainment center to watch movies, I use it to play games myself. Seems like a great investment, meanwhile my friend will go buy $800 pair of TENNIS shoes from a high end fashion store wear them like 10 times and never touch them again, of course I've spent my money wiser. I'm thinking long term, as long as I am happy day to day and have everything I want then it's all gravy. I don't need to buy things every day to fill some tiny weird void in my life, I'm thinking about those days when I am like 60 and really don't feel like going to work, and my hip hurts and I'm just in a grumpy mood, well thank god I didn't blow all my money on dumb things because I can picture it now watching an old classic favorite movie of mine on a rainy tuesday morning knowing all of you are still grinding while I'm sipping on my cannabutter infused tea. i spent the majority of my youth and most of my adult life homeless or housing insecure. its a hard life. a lot of folks dont really understand that life for working class folks has been on a steady decline sinse the 80s. most of the folks judging and telling folks to " pull yourself up by your boots straps" dont know how hard it is when you aint got no boots and woukld not survive a week out there. stay strong and always remember to take care of those who have less than you, you know rich folks wont.

This is definitely by choice! Be thankful you have power, air , food, clothes, and bedding. I survived 3 years living without any of these options. But by the grace of God, I found a job and went back to school to better myself and my kids so we would never have to worry about where we would sleep, eat, or shower. Stay positive and WORK HARD IT WILL COME

It's obvious that you are doing the best you can, and your space looks great honestly. I am not going to try to compare but life has been particularly hard the last couple of years for myself and my son too - he's physically disabled and lives with me. We went through a period where we had no running water in the kitchen, and the oven quit working and I had one burner functioning. No car for over two years now. We struggle to exist and survive daily. 😞 I'm sure there are many like us, which is tragic. It's just so demoralizing. I think its criminal, frankly, that people live like this in the richest country in the world. Other countries are the recipients of US $$ while we struggle and starve. Sigh.
Anyway, prayers for you and yours. Life is so very difficult right now we need to hold others up in prayer and do whatever we can to help our fellow humans whenever we can.
    Sending love.❤❤❤❤❤
