I am sorry to say this ,but yes he will be struggling on his walks with breathing, he has a heart problem. Animals are just like humans, you don’t see people with heart problems engaging in any physical activity His walk should be only for washrooms , very short walks , he just started the medication, will take time to kick in . Also blood work wasn’t done, blood work will show if other organs are in failure like the kidney . He is drinking more water than regular, peeing a lot , he is also in kidney failure Please let him have as much water as he needs, if he is in a kidney failure which l guarantee he is 100% , he needs Water Do not stop his medication !!! I am sorry to say this again but prayers will not help Do not stop his medicine as he will be suffering Let him rest , feed him , give him water keep him warm, he is weak , do not force walking, the poor dog can barely stand I love animals and watching him suffer it is heartbreaking , because he us suffering At this stage just keep him comfortable, warm , and medication is a must God helps him through you to keep him comfortable at this stage of his life and give the medication that he really needs If you stop his medication he will have a heart failure or heart attack When you ask for donations does a prayer help or the money donated? Same with the medication , a prayer won’t help him without the medication We will all pray but do not stop those medication
@@veronahristova5650 Uhh, prayers do work, I see it all the time! He was doing a lot better this morning after I prayed and asked others to pray for him. The money didn't help him in that situation, God did! Also, you don't know if he's in kidney failure for 100%, because the meds he is on is what's causing him to pee so much, cuz it's draining the fluid out of his heart and lungs and has to come out through his pee. Also, I know He needs more water, cuz he's peeing so much and has been wanting more water than usual. And lastly, I'm not really forcing him to walk more than he needs to, I only walk him once a day so he can poop and try to get some extra pee out, and so his limbs and joints don't get numb and locked up.
Hope he does better.
Please, Please .. don't go out and buy something for Him to lay on that hold His pee😢 Just keep putting blankets under Him. "Blankets absorb the pee...."
@@sharonscott1025 I need this to protect his beds from the urine, cuz I cannot clean beds, especially our new large mattress. I use towels underneath him, on top of the tarps, so he isn't always just right in the urine, but even with the towels it still sometimes gets on him. Idk how I'm gonna be able to keep up with the laundry though, cuz today's wash didn't go so well by using buckets to wash the towels in, and then the dryer to dry them, cuz the buckets didn't get all the urine out, and they still smell like ammonia. 😢 Idk how I'm gonna be able to afford to wash the pee pads and diapers all the time for him. I hope they last a few days, so I don't have to be washing stuff every single day like right now.
I am so sorry, but I worked for a Veterinarian for 4 years. Wofe is on His way out.The meds He is on, is what He needs.I will help Him by getting some fluids of His lungs and that is why He licks himself, He does not like that He is peeing on Himself.That is what the pills are for. Big dogs like Him lives 10 -12 years. If they have been taking care of .Dogs that lives longer depends on how He is raise. If it was Me , and He was mine. I would Love Him and tell Him that till the End. I don't have any animals because I am 67 years old. Money don't go that far any more.People don't have the money to take care of themselves let alone a pet ... Please don't get anymore pet right now, because We don't need them. I guess I am trying to tell You to hold back if You don't have the money to take care of them ❤ God Bless ❤
@@sharonscott1025 I absolutely don't plan on ever getting anymore pets in my living situation, or in general to be honest. I know I can't properly care for them on my own. Even if I had my SSI, it probably wouldn't be enough. Plus, I can't handle situations like with Wolf very well, and then their death, it's too sad and heartbreaking for me, and I'd rather not have any pets at all than to go through all that. I originally wasn't gonna get another dog after my first one passed away, cuz it was so sad to see him age and then die, but I guess over time I felt lonely and finally gave in and got the 2 I have now. It's one of those things where there's good and bad together. But I just don't handle the bad very well, and would like to never go through this sorta stuff ever again, even if it means I have to be lonely and never have another pet again. God bless you too! 💗

@@ismewhat1234 You mean his fur? I don't think it has anything to do with the chicken I feed him. Could be Demodex mange, or Pemphigus foliaceous.
I know Wolf was sick and not eating or pooping but he probably did need to go through all that to rid himself of all the excess fluids in his body. He does look a lot better today. I’m sure our prayers have worked too. He will probably need to stay on his Medicine though or the liquid will probably build back up because of his heart failure. Continued prayers for Wolfie. 🙏🙏

Poor baby.. my chihuahua passed away from congestive heart failure. He lived 2 yrs after his diagnosis.. with daily heart meds. Eventually his little heart couldnt keep up. I know the feeling when your boy is sick & all you want to do is make him feel better. 😢 I hope the meds help him to feel better. Hes Lucky to have you there showing him so much love

Good luck to the winner. I don’t have a dog right now only a cat. But I’ve heard that many oils can be toxic to cats. I’m not sure about the ones in that shampoo though. Even if they are safe my cat would tear me to pieces if I tried to give him a bath. 😂

I had to make that Mercy decision for many cats and dogs, and even for a horse that broke my heart to this day still eleven years ago. I experienced CHF with a GSD that was relatively young that I adopted and knew very little about her history other than that she was taken to Germany and bred and whelped eleven pups at one time that were simply magnificent GSDs in all aspects. She was put on medication but by the time she exhibited symptoms, the disease had advanced already but I gave her the best chance possible. What will be will be, but your care, responsibility, love and nurturing of Wolf, will not ever be forgotten. I, myself, admire that in you, and there is great reward for those who help and are tender towards our relatives we call animals. I ask God to give you strength and understanding, and most of all, peace. You are a strong, compassionate young lady, and Wolf couldn't have chosen a better human for a companion on his earth journey. You are a faithful friend to this special boy.

My mom had congestive heart failure. She almost died because her lungs filled. That is what congestive heart failure does. Your heart cannot beat strong enough to move fluids and blood around and fluid builds up around your heart and lungs. Another symptom in people is swollen ankles, because of the excess fluid in the body.

@@T_Barb Aww, I'm sorry to hear that. Yeah, he's been coughing and hacking, so idk if that's cuz there's fluid around his lungs or just his heart. He's on some meds for it now, so hopefully he'll be doing better soon.
@@archangelauriel007 thank you. I want you to be aware though, the fluid FILLS the lungs too. Not just around them.
@@T_Barb I know. I think it fills the heart too, doesn't it? I got him some liquid stuff called Lung Gold by Pet Wellbeing that helps get fluid out of the lungs, so hopefully that'll work.
@@archangelauriel007 the heart pumps the blood it is filled with. The fluid surrounds the heart making it harder for the heart to pump. Please be aware, and I’m so sorry, this is not something that can be cured. The only things that can be done is being done with his meds to alleviate the symptoms and prolong life. He will need to take the meds for the rest of his life.
I’m glad Wolf is getting some rest. He does look peaceful.
@@terri5757 Me too! Poor dog has been suffering for about a week or longer. He would cry at least once every night for a little while, and he wasn't getting much sleep. I think it was the pain from his hips or whatever's hurting him.

The Lasix will make him pee out the excess liquid in his body. Maybe the doctor gave him something to do that too in the shot. He will probably feel a lot better getting that extra liquid out of his body. It’s stressful on his heart.
Yeah, the one shot was to get the fluid out of his heart. And it seemed like the vet was trying to tell me that would happen.

YOU ROCK for figuring it out and getting Wolf to the Vet! What a huge heart you have. I’ve been watching your videos for the last couple weeks. Wished so much I could help you but I live on EBT and Medicaid myself. That said, my upstairs neighbors complained to me last summer that my 16year old dog needed to go to the vet and I told them they were welcome to take him if they could afford to pay. They did,and $700 later, the diagnosis was the same Congestive Heart Disease. Save your $$$ for when he needs to pass over and for his ashes if you want them. X-rays and blood work don’t matter at this point. Just his comfort and being with you xxxxxx you’re such an awesome dog Mom 💖💖💖💖💖
@@schneidervintage74 Thank you. 😊 I try my very best, because I love him more than anything. He's my whole world. 🥰 I'd do just about anything for him! And thanks for your advice about the x-rays and blood work, but I think I'm still gonna stick with the vet's advice and try my best to just get it done. I'd rather know more about his health, especially when he has more than one issue going on. I'd like to also know what's wrong with his skin, and see if there's any sort of treatment for that. And I'd like to eventually get that tumor cut off his leg of he's healthy enough for operation, and if I could ever get enough money for something like that. I'm nit trying to only get donations, my dad also already gives me some money on occasions whenever he can, and I'm also trying to sell a few things to make my own money. I'm not a lazy beggar who doesn't do anything or just wants to rely on others for everything, lol.
We had a little mixed bread dog that had the same thing, and he lived to be 17 years old ! Will wishes to wolf !!
@@timmy4539 Thank you! The vet seemed like he was trying to tell me Wolf is on the brink of when he should be euthanized, but I'm not so sure about that yet. I don't think Wolf is that bad yet, but with his bladder and bowels going all the time idk if I could handle that and keep up with the work it requires to keep him and his bedding clean all the time. Hopefully his bladder and bowels get back to normal or normalish soon, or I hope the diapers come in and work well for him without any issues. And I also hope he never poops inside or on one of his beds or in the truck, cuz that would be a bitch to clean. As far as his heart issue though, I don't think he's that bad that he should be euthanized yet; cuz he's still breathing pretty normally. And I think we can manage his pain in his hips and whatever, with the drugs from the vet, and with the vitamins and supplements I recently bought him. So I think he will actually have a turn around and start to get a little better soon. It'll just take a little time for the drugs, vitamins, and supplements to get to work in his system. I think once we have his pain managed better, and his heart fluid down, he'll be doing pretty good, and he might make it another few years or maybe even longer.

@@noname-lh2uh But even if they did, idk what they could really do about it. They already just put him on some antiinflammatory drugs for it, and maybe a steroid. But I plan on at least doing the blood work, since the vet wanted that done the most, and then I'll see about X-rays too after that. I don't wanna blow too much money on stuff that could be basically useless, especially when I probably have to pay monthly for his medications now and will need money in the future for that.

Sorry to hear about Wolf’s heart failure. I hope the medicine helps but he might need to stay on some of them indefinitely. You might want to Google what each med is for. I know the Lasix is to help the body get rid of excess water in the body. That would make sense for his heart failure. Prayers for Wolf. 🙏

Ask the vet for steroids that helped my dog in her last days
He might have given him a steroid. Idk. He didn't really explain what each medication is, just said what they will do for him.

Hopefully that person has gotten back to you, but if they aren’t able to help or don’t get a response from the Vet perhaps you could call the Vet yourself and ask if they would take donations for Wolf’s vet bill? If they agree then you might want to post the Vet’s information and how to send donations. I think you might have better luck getting donations if the money goes straight to them.
