Are these bulbs really expensive in Europe? All these bulb hacks are from Europe. Here in the US, these bulbs are between $1-2 US Dollars. Hardly worth wasting time with. Plus, it's a bad hack. They're in series. So removing one LED increases the load across the remaining. The bulb is just going to die again even sooner than before.
