what about having variants meaning that you have 1 universal bottom but multiple tops that can be swapt out

I think you did a great job on this Lath! I really like it. The bottom portion kind of (very loosely) reminds me of the LVT-5's the Marines used to use, but, you know, more "Lathrixian" of course lol
Innovative, beautifully designed builds Lath. A bit off topic here, but has anyone noticed just how overpowered the simple weapons are since the last update? (I scanned the comments and did a quick online search and couldn't find anything about this) Has anyone seen the stats on those things now? 15k (yes, 15,000) kinetic damage from a two block cannon with an 8 second reload...What!? And the laser, holy cow. You couldn't dream of getting that damage block for block from the other weapons. Thoughts? Has anyone experimented with this yet?

AThe chassis of the tank looks like the one from the WWII Valentine tank.
When I setup frag shells, if it's two or more frag shells I make each frag- 1+2x - for the frag angle. I find that makes an excellent damage point. Also, when there is more than 2 frag shells, I change the angle of the last two frag shells to be +/- 5 degrees respectively. Usually this is incredibly powerful for me. Just a thought.

I make the frag shell EXACTLY like you... But I love a LOT the Particle Cannon.

@lathland you honestly should try having a small caliber gun with a really large shells, i have 30*990mm fragshell with 150% the fragments your shell has, it has a reduced reload speed. its only downside is the reduced range but that is still way over 2km.
my turret is 1200rpm with 40 fragments each at 400m/s this is because each shell only has 1.2 seconds off cooldown compared to your 3.9 seconds (that is 3x as fast for atleast the same damage per shell :) l
i also had a 3000 rpm 18mm in the same turrets but then the range would become too short
i also love how similair to the ratte, that was also luxery tank :)
btw have you seen the new simple lasers? they would be perfect as short range AA

what you do is name it "code name 00p" and only deploy it as a last resort.
Llllllatththhhrixxxxxx , please teach us how you do those insane cannon in such little space ughhhh. Even my battleship turret are sometimes bigger than yours, but they never kill as fast, mainly because it's big guns, but teach us how to do those amazing minigun please :)

Lathrix help! I absolutely adore all of your from the depths videos, and this one was and is my all time favorites because of this amazing tank you've made. However in my own efforts, I've been completely unable to replicate it! In the area of having a secondary turret off of the main vehicle that's controlled by the 1-axis turret. It just wont work, and i can't figure out how you've done yours here! The sub-vehicle has its own AI and detection systems and can see the enemy, but it wont make the axis turret holding the docking station turn, and it wont even fire when the enemy is right in front of it! How did you make your tank?!
That's because the turret needs a weapon in order to turn towards the enemy - the best bet is to add a missile system (Just the main block, nothing else!) So that it does actually aim at the enemy, if the turret has no weapon (And/or no Local weapons controler controlling it) It will not recognise nor aim at an enemy. I hope that helps!

It works great as an amphibious tank, and please, please, do not make it a sub. Because that would be silly. Amphibious tanks, however, is a thing, or at least WAS a thing, and is totally plausible.
A gorgeous killing machine, and I love the way the turret just snaps around when a threat is detected. And if this is it without proper detection and aiming, I can't wait to see it properly set up. Also, this level of pain delivery totally justifies some extra cost. It is an elite craft, and will murder the opposition before they even get around to targeting it. Especially if it is fielded with some support and distraction vehicles.

how did you get the turret to turn so fast?
Can you please post a video explaining how to make an effective fast firing advanced cannon? I have spent hours experimenting and still can't get one that doesn't have a long pause in between bursts.
Are you referring to the 6 barrel beltfeds kind of fast firing, like the mini khornes? If so, how much clips do you use, and is your APS mostly below deck?
Yea just like mini khornes I have messed around with it a lot and I've tried like 2-3 clips on a couple autoloaders or a bunch of loaders with 1 clip neither work out for me. And yes most of it is below deck
1.You can only attach 1 clip on beltfeds.
2. Have you tried getting the gun barrel to spin? You need to set a desired RPM first though.
I also think to have an beltfed APS fire consistently in a battle without having to reload it would have 20+ loaders?
screw that, I built a 700 volume tank that goes 60 m/s on land and 14 m/s in the water...

It can quite easily by just changing the rotor settings a little bit with the control block, just no real want to do that. :P

Hey I think u should slow down the turret rotation speed a little so it won't rip itself off because the way you stuff works that would happen if you didn't (no offense)
Is there a way to slow down the turret? Im pretty sure they are 2 vehicles with the turret docked onto the base, but then and again I have never worked with subvehicle spawners.
