Yes my dentist did cringe when I told him what I was doing. I passed on the routine teeth cleaning and just had my X-rays and a check up. 6 months later the hygienists were impressed. I started Dr Ellie’s system 18 months ago and I’m astonished at the changes. Whiter teeth, remineralized cavities, gum regrowth. Thank you Dr Ellie!! God bless you.
How big cavities did you have? Have them all are reminerilzed?
@@monroe6961I had 18 plus pockets all around my mouth of multiple deaths. I did Dr Ellie system for about 3 or 4 months went to a different dentist and she said no cavities and no pockets and immediately complimented on how good my teeth and gums looked
@@7x779 Did you have cavities prior to starting on Dr. Ellie's system? If so, were they in the enamel layer or already in dentin?
@@humanyoda yes the dentist said I had 18 cavities and multiple Deep Pockets all around and everything was cured.
There's one that may be into the Denton from the cavity below the gum line but I am being diligent with this system and giving it time to see if it will also cure that. It certainly seems to have not gotten worse and I think it's getting better, but Dr Ellie said it can take 6 months to a year to see results depending on how far it's into the Denton
@@7x779I had a couple of pretty painful aches and each time, I used mouthwash a few times and they went away, never to return. I was pretty worried about it, at the time. Other people would have run to get fillings.
I don't want to live in a world where we can't reverse tooth decay.
I got caries on two of my upper front teeth just below the gum line. I started using Dr. Phillips' complete mouthcare system about 3.5 months ago. While visibly the caries has not disappeared, it seems like it got smaller but darker, just like a scab doctor described, but the affected teeth feel like healthy teeth now - no pain or sensitivity of any kind. I also made a small modification to the doctor's complete mouthcare system, instead of using just the Crest Anticavity toothpaste twice a day, I use it once, and the other time I use two toothpastes together - Paradontax and Dr. Glow with hydroxyapatite to accelerate remineralization. That system seems to work much better. I also switched to a no-carbs or sugars diet, and this also seems to help oral health (and not only!) a lot. My gum health has improved drastically. No bleeding of any kind, no pain, no pockets. I will continue using Dr. Phillips' system in the future. Wish I knew about it 20 years ago!
L argenine also works like flouride to mechanically remunerative teeth. Also comphrey or Allanton are helpful for healing dentine. If thats of any use just throwing the little i know out there in case it helps anyone.
I heard "program" and had to roll my eyes, but once i looked it up, it's absolutely normal things you can buy in every store. Her program is not a product, it's a routine. Perfect! I'm in.
@@serendipidus8482 so how do you use l-arginine for teeth? just mix in the amino acid?
@@steveb6718 i took it in tablet form and i opened the capsules and used it as a mouthwash. Its in Colgate toothpaste called ...I think its Colgate sensitive and it says there's a percentage in it so i wasn't sure how to translate that into capsules or mg so i just kinda threw a few open capsules worth of powder into my mouthwash. And i took the rest of the tablets just as a pill cos its good for other things too and figured i may as well. Not exactly scientific im afraid and you might figure it out better than me. The toothpaste says to rub the toothpaste on to the sore tooth so i also rubbed some of the powder onto my worst tooth until i figured i may as well just add it to the mouthwash so it would taste better. And i had also made a comphrey mouthwash so i was like ah too many things im just putting them all together cos i am so impatient.
Dr Glow toothpaste is amazing! Been using for a month and there is a noticeable difference with my teeth

She has a Vid on it she says don't eat but it works just don't eat
You don’t have to “eat” fluoride for it to be absorbed into your bloodstream through your gums, cheeks, and tongue. 🤦♀️
Been using Zylitol twice daily. Just put a bit of dry Xylo Sweet in my mouth, let it dissolve, and swish it about for about 3-5 minutes before spitting it out (and do not rinse after). Makes a big difference in my oral health all the way around. Bonus: It's kind of like having a desert, taste-wise - the alternative to the after dinner mint. Edit: Before, I had been "in need" of a root canal for an upper eye tooth - the long canine tooth. Now? No problem. Also, making sure I get sufficient minerals through diet and/or supplementation. -- I do still floss GENTLY, simply because I can and do get "wedgies" of foodstuff that the brush will not pull out.
Do you think this is better then xylitol mints/gum? You do it like oil pulling, but not with oil, just plain xylitol powder? Any xylitol you would recommend?
FLOSSING: This is the part I don’t completely understand because I also get food wedged between certain teeth. Are we supposed to just leave it since flossing is not good?
@@a.2102 I use pure birch xylitol crystals (look like loose sugar crystals) the same way as OP. It’s better for me because I don’t tolerate flavorings and many additives. Plus, I like being able to use more than the size of a mint. I pour the bag into a lidded container with a spoon inside. I spoon the amount into my mouth over a sink to catch any spillage. I definitely move the crystals around differently than I would a mint and it is more like oil pulling in that way, or using a mouth rinse. I use the Morning Pep brand.
@@a.2102 I got the Spry xylitol mints, which are great for portability, but they do have other ingredients, plus you are ingesting all of the xylitol they contain (which can lead to extra trips to the bathroom, especially if not used to the stuff). So, for very little more, I got a whopping 3 lb. bag of Zylo Sweet (made by Xlear), which is 100% zylitol and nothing else. It's not really a powder; it rather has the consistency of that turbinado sugar - granulated. I spoon out a similar small portion as might amount to one of those mints or a little more. And, yes, I let it melt in the mouth (takes no time at all) and swish it like doing oil pulling but for 3-5 minutes (all you need, really). It gets the whole mouth exposed, whereas a mint, even tossed about has a limited range. Then, I can spit it out, ingesting very little. After, I try to allow about half an hour before eating or drinking anything else, just letting the fine coating "sit" for while and "do its thing", like a deep treatment. This 3 lb. bag will probably last me a year, easy. I still have the mints, but when they're gone, I may just fill the empty bottle with the Zylo Sweet and find a tiny "spoon" to pop off in there, something I can toss in a purse to carry or in a desk drawer at the office. It's cheaper than the mints but just as portable.
I think flossing is ok as long as you don't hit the gums. I just floss until I get past the point where the two teeth make contact. I don't go any deeper than that. You can also push out food stuck in the gaps of your teeth. However don't go down deep. You may introduce bacteria into your gums. That's just my opinion. Think about it. Flossing is not a natural thing to do.
Absolutely true. My enamel and gums are improving! My dental hygienist is taking notes and adopting xylitol!THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR CARING
Dr. Ellie, with a profound respect I thank you for your knowledge and wisdom.
I started your system in June 2023. Earlier that year the dentist recommended to re-do root canal and put a crown on my tooth without a nerve. That tooth has been doing ok just with filling (in my mother county the protocol is different, and dentists do not put crowns on every tooth after the root canal treatment.) I did not come back to that dentist and started your system instead.
This month I treated 2 cavities that had been bothering me for 4 years and I couldn't receive treatment due to pregnancy and breastfeeding (the dentists refused to perform x-ray, then refused to use local anesthesia because of breastfeeding). Other than that my teeth and gums are healthy (including that tooth with no nerve, no need to do a crown according to this dentist.)
Also, to be honest I was skeptical that it's possible to reverse cavity, HOWEVER it's a pure miracle: your system healed cavity between my two upper molars! ❤ There was a discoloration and sensativity, food got stuck. Now that spot is completely restored and white 😮 The dental exam and x-ray confirmed that there is no cavity in the area.
I am really grateful for everything you are doing for people's health and enlightenment ❤❤❤
Thank you multiple times, Dr. Ellie!
God bless you and your beautiful family
That's amazing! 🎉
This is sooo good to hear! Do you know how deep your cavities was, and how long time did you use? I I do not want to use Listerine, only CloSYS how long should we rins with CloSYS? Did you use Crest toothpaste? I also use coconut oil for oil pulling.
@@a.2102 Thank you. I assume it was definitely superficial, not too deep because I did not experience pain. I used the whole complex: Closys for 1 minute, Crest paste right after without rinsing with water, Listerine for 30 seconds (it's too strong to me), and ACT right after.
I nibble on xylitol mints throughout the day.
You know, I tried coconut oil pulling before and surprisingly developed teeth sensitivity. So I stopped. I can't say anything about oil pulling since I don't do it.
Hope it helps 🙏
@@olady88 Thankyou
What program?
I have a tooth that has a cavity that my Dentist said is beyond having a filling. He said the best thing is just to leave it alone until it needs to be pulled at some point in the future. I’ve been on this plan for about two weeks now and I’m gonna see how long that tooth lasts.
Let us all know on this video comments how it went, please.❤
❤...god bless u... keep up the gud job
I'd be leery of that dentist. As a kid, I never saw a toothbrush, so the first thing that happened when I entered the military was that my cavities were ground out and fillings added. On a couple, I had much more filling than tooth. They were like hollowed-out tree stumps with the sides missing. During a time of war, able-bodied young men didn't get sent home because their teeth were "beyond filling." This was in the late 1960s. Only recently did a couple of fillings fail, so I had them replaced. With Dr. Ellie's system, I feel confident about my oral hygiene care for the first time.
Best of luck! :D
can you share the plan with me or do i have to pay ?
Hi Dr Ellie, I just had my first good dental checkup since I was 7 years old. I am 64 years old. It's always been like judgment day going to the dentist. I am crying I'm so happy. I've been using your program for 3 months. Thank you!!!
Thank you for this perfect, educative video about the birds and bees of oral health/ cavity and caries. It’s been a blessing to us to know how to take control!
I went to the Dentist and I was told I had 4 cavities after skipping one of my 6 month visits. A year ago, I was told I had demineralization. I was not aware that this was reversible and I did not connect the dots why some of my habits could be causing this. I was comfortable, and heard about inflamed gums and plague and better flossing for years but not cavities. I do not want my teeth to be drilled and filled. I already have an amalgram filling from possibly 20 years ago. I am happy I discovered Dr. Ellie. I'm trying Xylitol, Closys, Listerine, and ADT flouride rinse in addition to better nutrition, less or no snacking (but faithfully with Xylitol) and watching pH lowering substances. With the Xylitol and the complete mouthcare system I notice a lot less plaque buildup. I am about 9 days in.
It seems like a check progress over time strategy to reverse caries. Hopefully it is not a cavity. I have early caries as far as I can tell. The most concerning one was a dark black splotch down to the dentin visible on an x-ray. The hygenist said my teeth looked good aside from a few dark areas. I did not hear talk of gaping holes, nor did the dentist pick around my mouth themselves. This earlier video 3 months ago by Dr. Ellie also gives me hope: th-cam.com/video/4wlRM-YgRQ/w-d-xo.html . In the video, caries down to the Dentin can take as long as a year to recover. Hopefully I get somewhere. In the best case, I hope for no new fillings and dental education.

It's pretty widely known that beginning decay (also known as initial or incipient caries) can be remineralized.
Were the mints chewy?
@@SamanthaSweetAnne i have her mints all the time. They’re not chewy, but they’re chewable, if that makes sense.
@PianoMyHeart thank you. I was thinking if you said gum it's pulling out all the bacteria.
Yup. Dr Rhonda Patrick was on Joe Rogan and told a story how she reversed 2 cavities, while pregnant, simply by chewing xylitol gum all day every day during her pregnancy. She wasn't expecting this to happen, but she gave up flouride during her pregnancy and started using xylitol gum and toothpaste and went back after giving birth to get the 2 cavities filled, but they were gone.
I've been using 1/2 tsp of xylitol crystals. Once it dissolves in my mouth it mixes with the saliva and I swish it around for up to 5 min. before spitting out. It's better than gum because the xylitol in gum doesn't last long as you end up swallowing it while chewing.
@@Ron-kn6ur Hi, Can I ask you what xylitol do you use, any you would recommend? Is it like powder?
Can xylitol work if you want to repair your tooth enamel or does it only work against cavities?

@@fatihbarutcu9330 Xylitol works by stimulating a flow of "healing" saliva - to flow into your mouth.
This saliva can help mineralize enamel.
The other products that are part of my Complete Mouth Care System speed up this process - making the minerals enter the tooth more quickly and therefore helps to mineralize teeth more efficiently. DrEllie.com for a free downloadable booklet and more info.

I was looking at the ingredients of Crest you recommended but I am concerned about some ingredients one is called hydrated silica, trisodium phosphate, triclosan, this ingredients are highly toxic. Another ingredient that I am not sure if it is toxic is the sodium lauryl sulfate. Please could you explain more about it. I am very interested in your protocol but I am concerned about that. I wonder if it is possible change Crest for a other toothpaste. Thanks very much you have been a great help.

Would taking calcium and Vitamin K2 supplements in addition to the mouthcare system help more?
This sucks. I just had a cavity filled and it wrecked my tooth. No pain before...nonstop pain since
Dentist did not ddo your repair properly. Before filling it should have had a dressing put in a few times before the final one. This allows the soft dentine to settle down before the tooth is filled. Use an ice oack on outside if jaw area several times a day til the nerve settles down. No hot orcold drinks in the meantime. 😊
Dear dr Ellie, I started your cavity treatment regime, in a month I noticed my gums started to recede, this is exteremely alarming as I never experienced receding gums before. I did a quick search and this came up: harsh mouthwashes are known to contain ingredients that can destroy tooth enamel and remove protective bacteria from the mouth. As a result, your gums may start to recede more aggressively than they would if you didn't use mouthwash at all. Any comments? What could I be doing wrong? I am using all your recomended brands in correct order once in the morning once in the evening. Shall I only use them once or shall I not use a particular one like listerine. Please help!

I might have said this already, but I needed your knowledge 25 years ago; but better late than never. My biggest problem is that my mouth is totally dry. I could not spit if my life depended on it. I could not do the nitric oxide test that you featured recently, because I would not be able to wet the test strips. Chewing on your Zellie's xylitol tablets stimulates saliva, but only briefly.

Dr. Ellie. Could you make a video for people with a lot of cavities and tooth problems? Someone who had a rough past who is now trying everything possible to heal their teeth?
I would say the same program here, plus start eating the dental diet. It’s very healthy and will make the rest of your body heal as well. Should clear up in 6 months to a year.

I am so upset with my dentist visits, it’s painful, from 14 y. o I have cavities and I gotten fillings. The more I get fillings, the more I see cavities form on the same tooth until now, I already have 5 teeth with root canals at 23, the more I go to the dentist, the deeper my cavities get. I ask my dentist about xylitol and she says it won’t be helpful, but when I try it I can feel how different my mouth feels and cleaner. I feel like the dentistry industry is just there to be unhelpful and take impossibly high cost for bad treatment. I’ve cried from pain on the dentists chair but he just carried on with his job. I’m fed up
sorry to hear that. this community is with you and you are not alone.
Why are you stuck with products and ingredients from your grandmother age, recommend something better or let cavities take over. I don’t know which is worst anymore. If you just found better ingredients and products, you would have been a hero to me. You still to some degree because I learned about Xylitol through you but I don’t resonate with the other ingredients.
She uses those specific products as part of the whole system because they work and give results. Most newer products don't really help people with their dental problems; that's why people are here, trying to find something that will work.
I came across Dr Ellie’s channel just this past week and wishing if I had come across this content a month ago. Feeling guilty of doing a filling in a premolar #13 just 3 weeks ago. I postponed this filling for 3 years, hoping it will heal/remineralize on its own with disciplined diet and routine brushing and flossing, but it didn’t improved significantly based on x-rays. Now I got the filling and there is no chance of natural healing regaining natural tooth. Being optimistic, I hope this filling could withstand a decade while on this oral care system and won’t create problems in future. I promised to my other pristine teeth that I won’t be doing harm to them.

So I am 6-8 weeks in on this plan. Wow! A small amount of dark colored plaque on the gum line in the front of a front tooth is now gone. I had a lot of plaque behind my front teeth which is 60 percent less. I have a back tooth that the dentist said will be pulled eventually. It had a back deep cavity which now I can see my tooth so good portion of that is gone. I had very bad dark yellow staining around all my back teeth which is literally now white. All my teeth are very white now. Bad breath was gone the first week. I now wake up with a decently fresh mouth. I used to have a horrible mouth when I woke. I have been doing all the mouth washes and brushing and eating a bit too many mints. However, I have reduced my mint intake trying to eat them only after I eat or drink something. I find the cool mint ones to be the best. However I have not tried the cinnamon. I’m so grateful for this protocol. I have very deep pockets and am hoping those are being cleaned out as well. Also, in conclusion, I had pain when I would chew on one side and that was fine within a week or so. I used to get pain with cold and sweet which is also gone. I do avoid added sure most of the time and avoid artificial sugars all the time. Those mints are amazing!

guess my comment got deleted. ACT zero has an ingredient called cetylpyridinium chloride which stains some peoples teeth. I wish she would recommend a substitute for those of us with this problem to avoid long cleanings at the dentist.
Dr. Ellie said that the staining happens when the bacteria shrinks. This happened to me behind my upper and lower teeth and even in the front of my teeth I went for cleaning and it’s all gone.
Cetylpyridinium chloride is the ingredient that stains teeth. Not everyone gets teeth staining but some people do.

This is good news. I started using your system a month ago when I broke a filling. It's getting repaired this week so hopefully it will be nice and strong in there. Meanwhile, my teeth are whiter, there's less plaque/tartar and less sensitivity.
Apparently my filling broke because I grind at night. Can you talk more about grinding?
Parasites can cause us to grind our teeth at night. You can get a dewormer from the pharmacist.
(I don't remember in which podcast I have heard about it, but) grinding teeth at night can be releted to a certain kind of parasites. Regular parasite cleaning procedures are beneficial for everbody, so why not to try? 😊
What about a boot camp book instead of video?
The Amish have a lot of dental issues and they don’t have electricity or access to our technology. They could read the book and order your products thru me. I can order it and they can give me the money to cover the costs.
Can you regrow chipped tooth or grounded teeth restored please
I am very impressed with your teaching on oral health. Would South Africa stock your products? Okay, I see I can order through Amazon. Unfortunately to expensive for a SA 😢pensioner.
This stuff works. My teeth feel great. I just wish the yellow would go away faster. Sometimes I think I feel the positive bacteria, almost like there's baby slime in my mouth, lol. Maybe I'm imagining it. There's just one wider spot between two teeth that tends to get food, and I check it with floss.
You’re amazing Dr Ellie!!
Hi Dr. Ellie, I’ve been using your system for about two months now and I’m noticing brown staining on my teeth. I believe it’s from cetylpyridinium chloride in ACT. What should I do?
I had the same issue and learned that it was indeed the ACT flouride rinse causing it.
So many people float this thought around of ACT causing staining after they start the complete mouth care system, but Dr. Ellie says the following:
“ 'Good stains' are seen on teeth when dental disease has been rapidly controlled, when the remnants of thick plaque and harmful bacteria die off quickly. The debris collects around the tooth, often looking like a dark stain at the gum line. This stain is the sign of improved oral health, less bleeding, and a healthier mouth and gums. A dental cleaning will quickly remove this kind of staining and leave the healthier teeth pristine and white.
If you do not have a cleaning within a couple of months of starting the complete system, the sudden improvement in your oral health may result in a thin band of stain forming around the edges of your teeth at the gum line. This staining is not a problem, is not permanent, and is not at all unhealthy. This stain is dead plaque debris that has shriveled up and formed a hair-like deposit around the edge of your teeth. One cleaning at the dentist will remove this band of debris.
This staining is a common problem that I have to find a way to address:
1. Are you using the Mouthwatchers brushes that I recommend? You must get away from fear of brushing too hard. It's not true and you will not do damage by brushing - you will get rid of these stains!
2. Do you let your brushes dry for 24 hours between uses? Never soak them in anything or they will get too soft.
3. Are you brushing this area of your mouth where you are seeing the stains? Aim at these areas first, when you have the most toothpaste on your brush, and before you do the gum massage, etc - this is almost always superficial debris that just takes a bit more work to remove.
4. Are you using the system 2x daily? You will get staining if more plaque forms on teeth every 12 hours during the first months - before the oral bacteria have been balanced. In the future you may be able to skip a time or two - but not in the first months.
5. Do you stop eating and drinking completely - not even water - after the xylitol at the end of meals? This allows the new healthy protective biofilm to form, and it is this biofilm that will stop your teeth from accumulation of this debris. You may also want to have a Zellies mint last thing at night before sleeping.
6. This stain is not a health problem - just no one likes a dark stain. But it is superficial debris and will brush off; just use a bit more toothpaste and some more energy on these areas.
7. IF this extra energy and toothpaste trick is NOT ENOUGH to get rid of the stain - then you are going to make a special paste for yourself - Exfoliating paste: Mix together half a teaspoon of granular xylitol with a big squeeze of the Crest Cavity Protection toothpaste. Use this exfoliating toothpaste mixture - aim at the stains first thing every morning (not during the system.…but as you get out of bed in the morning). Just target these stains with this mixture of xylitol crystals + toothpaste. In 3-4 days the staining should have disappeared completely. Then you do not need to keep using this mixture; you can go back to the normal paste as a part of the system.”
Thank you so much for this! One of my kids gets the non damaging staining (non damaging per the hygienist) and I will be ordering some xylitol to help him combat that. Glad we don’t have to give up that important part of the process.
Thank you so much! Six months ago I was told I needed deep cleaning. I began using your system and my teeth feel so smooth and clean - no more plaque after six months! I expect my dentist will be surprised at the improvement in my oral health - hopefully gums will be receeding less too. Thank you so much!
did your gums improve or do they still say you need a deep cleaning?
I thought this was Barbara O’Neil lol
Appreciate all that you do Dr Ellie.
Please help us understand for the sake of those who have these issues: 1)
fluoride toothpaste affects those who have very compromised and unresolved hypothyroidism despite medicines and treatments. 2) SLS in Crest toothpaste that can induce flare ups of peri oral dermatitis.
Thank you 🙏🏽
Shanti, I am a Naturopathic doctor. If the thyroid gland is lacking iodine, it will uptake flouride. Please supplement with Life Extension Sea Iodine (from bladderwrack seaweed). The gland will no longer uptake flouride if iodine levels are adequate to optimal. Jesus is Lord 💖
Hi Dr. Phillips, do you have a complete mouth care system to reverse cavities on baby teeth? Thank you!
Yes I couldn’t believe my second had 6 cavities at 3 years old. My two others have no issues.
Thanks dr. Ellie for these videos ❤
I am using your complete mouthcare system and have much less plaque buildup and my mouth feels much more healthy!! I do have a question though- I have noticed increased staining along my gum lines, brown lines (perhaps from coffee?) Do you have any recommendations for this? Thank you!
Yes - here is help with that - Dr. Ellie says the following:
“ 'Good stains' are seen on teeth when dental disease has been rapidly controlled, when the remnants of thick plaque and harmful bacteria die off quickly. @@SunrayStar Thank you so much! I am so glad that it is not a negative indication! I will continue with the system. Thank you again!!
@@SunrayStar thank you , this was exactly I was looking for
Hi Dr Ellie! Have you heard of PUR xylitol gum? If so is it okay?????? Please let me know LOVE TEDDY
Baking soda… sodium bicarbonate for brushing
Baking soda removes the beneficial biofilm which protects the teeth. Dr.Ellie has explained it in another video.
Hi Dr. Ellie, your TH-cam channel is very educational. Is periodontal disease can be reversed by using your mouth care system? I’m looking forward for your response, thanks a lot.
dear Ellie, question from Belgium please : your recommendations are super! congrats and thankyou's, do you know when your system (or recommended products) will be available in Belgium? it's SO clear how true all your visions-experiences are. My dentist is good in 'drillings etc'... sigh... never had ANY information (like so many people here that follow your video's), and last visit i told her my gums, after FIVE years of misery & one filling after another & another 😢, if she heard about Xylitol? She was a bit O.o face and suddenly said 'oh we recommend that' (than it goes in 'we' never 'i' modus...), i gently replied 'i wonder why no one ever told me this... it's so so so sad... I need to go again & again, i hope the Xylitol & my gum massages & advices that i follow & also coconut oil pulling, will (eventually?) be helping. The gumpain is gone, the aft & swellings 90% gone, NOT thanks to my dentist : thanks to you tips that i follow up. Hopefully your system will be available all over the world🍀
PS : she also 'had to' drill so deep that i ended up with 'nerve was open' : not covered anymore...so to surgeon for that (!) i 'lived' with that pain almost 1 and a half month (waiting lists), than losing one more tooth, it's really...
@chrisnem1603 I'm in Belgium and I've ordered all her recommended ingredients from Amazon UK. It arrives in just a few days and the shipping was about 5e extra per item. I use Ultra Dex for step #1, the same Crest toothpaste she recommends as step #2, The Original Listerine for #3 (but the local Colruyt carries the Listerine Cool Mint) and lastly, the Breath Co. dentist formulated fresh breath oral rinse as step #4.
I would also get a new dentist.
I’ve been using your system to try to halt my caries. It is not on top of my tooth but on the side between the two teeth. I had a medium caries. And in 5 weeks it has gotten bigger. So I don’t think once it is in the dentin it works. I got an update cray and it is slightly bigger and I even have started getting pain there. I believe your system works for prevention and maybe caries on the enamel (size small caries), but once it’s in the dentin I don’t see how it helps especially when it is between the teeth because it is so hard to make enough contact.
Can you please do a video on how to avoid digestive issues when consuming xylitol? I've been using your system for a few weeks now and I love it, but I keep getting diarrhea with the xylitol. What can be done to avoid that? I notice my mouth feels cleaner after using it so I really want to find a way to make it work.
Amazing!! She’s the truth!!
I have been doing it and so far so good!☺
But no one outside of the continental USA can buy your products. So, basically, only Americans can follow your complete dental health care system. What do we, here in Europe, do for cavities, and loss of enamel?..
dear dr Ellie, I've found an article about chlorine dioxide (MMS) and it's influence on cavityn in one of science dentistry page. Than I realized that stabilized form is in Closys. Thank you!!! Maybe it will be helpful for people who can't buy Closys in their country. ❤
Where can I find this article??
I started eating natto daily and noticed the hard plaque on my teeth is starting to flake off. Natto is high in K2 apparently.
The issue is that if there is strep in the mouth there is strep in the entire body. So even if you remove it from your mouth, it’s going to come back in.
That is why you need an effective oral care system that promotes the diversity of good oral bacteria in your mouth - to crowd out plaque forming ones.
Hello mam i notice my front teeth have thin edges like transclucent i also go to dentsist he said this is normal and ask it will repair in 1 month is it really repair my front teeth edges please reply😢
Love this video... just found your channel. I had a problem,... of nutrition. A calcium deficiency over an extended time... over 5 year. A dairy allergy caused that. Now I regret that I did not take supplements...
I don’t mind small concentrations of fluoride, but I very strongly prefer not to use products with artificial flavors and colors, which are in the mouthwashes you recommend. Are there any other products you can recommend that do not have these?
Also, I am curious why you recommend products that have sorbitol, when you stress that gum/mints should be 100% xylitol. Honestly want to understand and reverse a cavity starting on a tooth!
I love Dr. Ellie complete mouth care system! You need to experience it yourself and youll know what I mean.
I agree 💯
Please do you know if there is an alternative to Xylitol? I tend to bloat uncomfortble and experience diarrhia whenever i use Xylitol no matter how small. Am so disappointed this is not working for me
@@laikaevelyn4478 I suggest to consult a GI specialist and see what they say
If xylotol is artificial sweetner then how will it stop bacteria in teeth as she said it feeds and thrives on anytype of sugar whethr fruit sugar or any other type.
I tried the system your promote for at least 6 months, It did reduce the bleeding of my gum by about 50% but did not eliminate it so I went back to using Hydrogen Peroxyde a couple of times a week and my bleeding gums stopped.
I'm just curious, did you know that Dr. Ellie recommends that when one has bleeding gums, that the thing to do is to focus on those areas and brush/massage the gums with your toothbrush while brushing with even more pressure, and spend even longer on those areas? If you did know that, did you already try that? The massaging stimulates the lymphatic system to bring in more healing nutrients to those bleeding areas needing help, and also carries away toxins.
@@SunrayStarthanks for asking. No, I did not specifically follow theses massage recommendations but I did everything else. I will give this a try.
@@SunrayStar Hi, I actually started following the recommendations in your post and I already see a difference. I use my fingerpads to massage my gums though instead of the toothbrush. My gums feels healthier and are bleeding less. Thank you for replying to me and suggesting how I could improve!
@@BelAge That's great!! But go ahead and give a try to doing it with the toothbrush, and you'll likely see even more improvement, because the more the gum is stimulated, the more it heals. You aren't using a soft toothbrush, are you? That's the other thing - it needs to be a medium-firm toothbrush with dense bristles, like Dr. Plotka's Mouthwatchers toothbrushes.
Hello Dr. Phillips, I have been using your Complete Mouth Care System for two weeks. Several of my teeth were quite sensitive before I started with the system. Now my teeth sensitivity has disappeared almost completely. The only thing that troubles me is that every morning I wake up with my teeth and gums covered by thick whitish mucus (no yeast infection). It had never happened to me before starting the system. Is this normal?
Thank you for your content!
Question: Can you please make a video, "reacting to," or whatever, regarding "3mix-MP Lesion Sterilization and Tissue Repair" (LSTR) which, as I understand it's use in Japan (it spread from there), goes by the premise that antibiotics, when propylene glycol is used as a carrier, can penetrate the entire tooth capsule, thus allowing regrowth of dentin. I further understand from cursory reading that new dentin growth will not be as ordered (it'll be chaotic?).
I know there's a danger to the gut biome if antibiotics are ingested, so, I'm wondering if a silicone mold of the teeth could keep the paste against the teeth for short periods of time followed by a thorough rinse and then xylitol
I'm also curious about your reaction to studies showing efficacy of sorbitol and erythritol in reducing tartar and caries.
I'm just a 60 year old American with some tooth decay, mostly where crowns & root canals had been done and I don't want any more teeth killed. I seem to have formed an aversion to dentists since learning about LSTR. I am eating a plant based diet, supplementing with D, K, calcium, magnesium & using xylitol/sorbitol gum after drinks or food.
Thank you, again, for your content!
Thank you Dr. Ellie!
🙋🏻♀️The hygienist should have known better!!!🙄
☝🏻What good is being a dental hygienist if they didn't know that oral interactions/exchange affected their own oral biodome??😖Definitely NOT to be trusted as a dental hygienist🤷🏻♀️
I must purchase this doctor's complete mouth care system. I kept putting it off.
DrEllie.com for a free booklet and more info about how to get started....there is also an oral health bootcamp if you need more video help...
Great video. What about decay that reaches the roots? is it possible to reverse it?
Dr. Ellie, if the interdental cavities are small and have not gone to the root yet, can they totally fill in, or will there still be a dark spot on the x-ray? How will you know if you still need them filled or not? Thank you!
i didn't know any of this. thank you so much for sharing! I've always known dentists were crooks but i didn't know it was this bad. they charge up the yinyang you for the cleaning and fillings but it doesn't even fix the problem.
Traditional advice misses the point as it is based on a wrong/old understanding of oral health.
Please help with a Europe version of your products. It's impossible to buy or afford imported act anticavity and crest. An act bottle is over €11 and that does not include transport
Thank you, Dr. Ellie!
Can you help me? I have enamel erosion in my back teeth. They are pitting and turning brown. The dentist doesn’t seem concerned. Will xylitol help with enamel at all?
I downloaded your program. It looks like an ad for garbage products I haven't used in years - Crest, Listerine and chewing gum.
All you need are flossing, baking soda mouth wash, xylitol gums. The rest of it is about the gut health...
Ive been using your mouthcare system. The dark spots I've had for decades have either disappeared or have become smaller. Is it bad to try to brush away the "scabs" that form in the fissures on the biting surface?
One was so sticky it was catching food in it. I brushed it extra long to get rid of the brown, and it helped.
Since starting with these products, in just one month my teeth have turned YELLOW 😩 not good. Wont be continuing.
Wondering why you use Flouride as Flouride does so much other damage
Hi Dr ellie. Im very much interested in reversing my cavities but here in Malaysia, those products you mentioned does not exist on normal stores. Online seems to be not legit and expensive. Could you provide alternative products that i can buy here n use ?
I need to wear braces again but i need to get a full checkup as the orthodentist suspects gengivitis and If I can't get healthy teeth and gums I will have other issues😒, so I'm definitely giving this a go even though I'm in Europe and I may not get these exact same products. Looking forward to alternatives if anyone else has tried👍
Does anyone get stomach issues from xylitol?

If she is a dentist, why this picture of a cavity is so completely wrong?
She is a dentist. It’s just a diagram.
Dr. Ellis is there an alternative tooth paste you could recommend me. I may be allergic to the sodium laurly sulfate in the toothpaste because my oral mucosa started peeling after my 2 day following your complete mouth procedure. Thank you in advance.
Thank you for the insights Dr. Ellie. If I dip my toothbrush in hot water for a minute will it kill the bad bacteria in it?
What is the reason behind a dentist tapping your teeth with a metal object. This new dentist that I have tap my teeth pretty hard I don't know if that has anything to do with intermittent fractures now that my teeth are going through
To check for the right tooth which needs to be extracted or treated I guess
