I’ve changed the fuel pump thinking I had bad fuel pump but found out i wasn’t getting enough power (12volts) only getting around 5.7 ohms or volts and I’ve checked all the fuels relays all is fine cleaned the throttle still getting these codes can the TAC make my car not crank over or cut power from my fuel pump my codes that are PENDING or stored are as follows: P1516, P0418, P0449, P0452, P2101, P0443 P0418, P0449, P0452, P2101
I believe my issue is the wiring harness cause the engine light pops up the most if I drive over a big bump on the road or if the car sits in idle for 10+ mins
@@bkhbrokenhearted4262 I have a 2003 Tahoe… before I redid the wiring harness I changed the throttle body and the gas pedal sensor and it still wasn’t fixed.. I realized the wire harness had a shortage was when I slightly moved it or tug on them a little or when I hit a big bump in the road is when the engine light pops on
That TERRIBLE throttle cable! So glad we got rid of that problem area and replaced it with this clearly much simpler and durable design

is the 1500 and the 2500hd 6.0 different? is the sensor built into the throttle body on the passenger side?

I CHANGED EVERYTHING POSSIBLE INCLUDING THE FUEL PUMP AND I'M STILL GETTING P1516 ... I'M GOING TO CHECK THE WIRE HARNESS NEXT...

Update.. I replace my wiring harness myself and it fixed my issue . It’s been 3 days so far and I haven’t had an issue yet
@Slim252 what vehicle so you have did you notice the old harness was it in had condition?? I have same issue

@@Slim252 if you haven’t fixed it I’m sure it’s the small black wire in the harness that goes to the back of the harness
I have an 04 model and another car so I will try cleaning it after work. I do have p1516 code. I'll try it.
