Dennis’s story.. wow!!!! without realizing it, I started sobbing hearing him speak. He is so so so strong. It takes SO much strength to tackle such a monster. I’m sending him so much love. You didn’t deserve what happened to you. You deserve all the good in the world. The trauma ends with you, and that’s brave.
(I said “so” so many times lol but I don’t know how else to express how deeply I feel about this)

It's true. Ace score of 8 over here... John, you're really freaking good at cutting to the chase and offering genuine insights that help. Thanks to you and Dennis for sharing this

Thank you Dr. John, and Dennis, for airing this video that brings such an opportunity for healing. My childhood was extremely different from Dennis' childhood! Healthy family, but a perverted neighbor, and a perverted relative hurt members of my family, and it affected us all. Long story short, I'm going thru counseling when I can afford it. Really living on the edge, at various times, because I need the therapy, but have to, live rather to myself, because of my finances.

Dennis I strongly recommend the EMDR. It is amazing. You WILL feel like you are being run over and dragged by a truck, BUT in the end, you will bein the driver's seat.

Wow! The vulnerability of the callers and the support and suggestions from Dr. John. Men that called … keep going!!!

    Yes!
    You can!
However, individuals are selective to whom they choose to forgive and/or what to forgive! Yet, everyone makes mistakes and many that judge have, plenty of skeletons in their closets. Many might say “no one mistake is worse than the other!” But in reality, there is a difference!

I had to fast forward through Dennis. The pace of his voice irritated me. First time I had to do this for a call. 😂

Since I hear alot of biblical things from all under the Ramsey umbrella, why so much psychobabbble, why not suggest to these tormented souls that they ask God to remove and heal them of these demons. So much worldly thinking. I hear so many in church these days that think doing marijuana is ok, fornication is ok because the world says we have needs, how about devoting yourself to a wholesome life, love, marriage etc, because God commands it of us, not whats easy or acceptable to the masses.
