Theres no way a show like that could have ended gracefully. It was too vitriolic and insane for that. Im kind of glad it completely fell appart, it fits with the whole ethos of the show
Jared Ortiz yeah, Black Phillip is great but I would love to hear a Patrice podcast just about life not just relationships but with also interesting guests
Norton's so underrated, listening to old O&A really shows how sharp his humour was. When anyone said anything he had a really mean hilarious response. In a room full of brilliant comedians he felt right at home. Its kinda not fair how people shit on him today. He's older he's allowed to cool off. He's not our angry, chubby, pale, boy anymore. Bit of a tangent, but I felt the need to say he's a good egg.
Justin Jones You’re right about that. His witty dark humor was the best. It comes out every now and again but at his best, nobody made me laugh harder.
Good point, i see that alot with comedians or musicians where people talk shit cus they arent the same as they used to be. But that would be sad if noone changed. Like steveo from jackass, hes just chillin out sober, it would be pathetic if he was doin the samw shit he did15 years ago but people hate on him. There will be new young angry guys and theyll chill out too lol
Andrewut7y A in general I agree with you but Steve-O seems to be an exception, he gets much more love than hate these days from what I’ve observed. Steve O is truly an inspiration these days.
There are so many hilariously savage moments of 3rd-wheel Li'l Jimmy on O&A. One that springs to mind was when dumbshit Chris Jericho told him not to joke about some event held by Christopher Reeves. To which Norton called it "his 3rd Annual Blink-off."😂😂
@Badge Man go watch it again. It's actually the worst plot, worst acting, worst gun rights and action scenes. The dialogue is fuckn hilarious though, but it's hilarious bad lol
None of my friends understand me because they have never listened to Opie & Anthony… my best day was discovering them through Ricky Gervais and his appearances on their show ❤
The greatest radio show in history. I would download it as soon as I got home from high school every day. All three guys are kinda washed up now but for a brief moment they were perfect together.
Oryahn you are so lame bro talking tough about Patrice. He had diabetes and his time came. He was also way better than Anthony and opie on the radio show
@Oryahn It was fucking hilarious. This clip is a horrible explanation of why it was great. They had the best comedians on the planet as regular guests shooting the shit for hours. Patrice was incredible and had more talent in his left ball than you do in your entire body.
What made OnA so great was that it was just like hanging out with your buddies on a Friday after work. Someone might be tipsy, someone might be high, everyone’s just having fun and poking fun at each other, nobody takes it too seriously, and sometimes things get a little wild and carried away. It’s how guys, and regular people have been destressing after a work week for hundreds of years. Unscheduled and unplanned fun hanging out. I’ll always love OnA, it was one of the few shows that “got it.” Sure some crazy maybe not great stuff happened eventually- but that made it all the more legitimate- no friend group hasn’t gone through crap and turmoil eventually.
My favorite part of O & A was when the Comedians would all be in and smashing on eachother, Patrice going after Jimmy, Jimmy smashing Collin, good times.
They Opie and Anthony with Jim Norton was the greatest radio show ever in my opinion . They were legend. Your awesome too From one average Joe to an above average Joe.

You're a fucking clueless idiot Patrice wasn't even in that much during the 20 years O&A was on the airwaves it just seems like a lot because his audio is scattered everywhere on youtube. O&A did not need Patrice to have a funny show they had plenty of things to choose from and plenty of comedians to bring in. You and 15 other people aren't true fans if you think that.
Anybody remember when they used to have girls call the show and queef on the phone..I was like 12 listening to that doing my homework, absolutely wild to think they got away with that
Anyone find it odd that Joe phrases it like Jim was not apart of the Opie and Anthony show? Maybe it's because a lot of his appearances were when Jim was touring and Joe was doing Carolines...but it would be like talking to Artie Lange and acting like he was just a guest.
why dont they just start a podcast with the same setup? my ignorance wants to know! 😂 is that possible? o&a was and still is my favorite thing to listen to!
I really miss O&A on NEW-FM in NY. That was the last great radio show. The insanity with Beattlejiuce, Stalker Patty, the days with Stephen Lynch. I remember, right before they got fired. The studio had new carpets installed. O&A had a couple of random listeners come in and have sex, live on air, just to drop a load on the new carpet. It's a shame they hate each other now.
What he talks about the "i cant believe they said that" is like politics on both sides, the liberals go further left and the conservatives go further right.
Once you go down the O&A rabbit hole it's very hard to come out of it. That show was wild, it's a shame how it all ended.
Theres no way a show like that could have ended gracefully. It was too vitriolic and insane for that. Im kind of glad it completely fell appart, it fits with the whole ethos of the show
Best radio show of all time

@@matthewgriffin7857 same its actually a problem now haha

Black Phillip would be an absolute sensation.
I agree. Patrice’s brutal honesty is what made him unique.

My favorite was how Norton convinced Patrice that Face-Off was a bad movie
“IT STINKS”
" I think that movie...does stink, I'm sorry, Norton!"
the first O&A clip I ever saw. I've shown that and the Forrest Gump clip to so many people since
I watched it a couple years ago. It's probably the worst movie ever made
@Badge Man go watch it again. It's actually the worst plot, worst acting, worst gun rights and action scenes. The dialogue is fuckn hilarious though, but it's hilarious bad lol

@Oryahn you're so edgy.
Patrice, Anthony, Norton. Dream team
Patrice and Anthony doing the Wesley Snipes in prison bit was the greatest moment in radio history.
I miss when Opie smashed the sound board non-stop while Anthony and Jimmy were being funny, that was cool.
HOLD ON HOLD ON HOLD ON! Lets take a call!

O&A along with Patrice and Jim would have taken over 2020, their voices are needed in this PC liberal era
being in NY at that time, all you saw were WOW stickers on the LIE, people crying laughing in the cars, and nonstop hilarity.
Fun fact: O&A fans actually make up the largest group of Panera Cashiers in the world
Mike yeah but we have a great sense of humor
Idk about that bud
If you can't enjoy O&A then how are you even a fan of Joe?
FEED NANA
Also we are strangely obsessed with a fat unsuccessful sci fi writer.
O&A was definitely a podcast before podcasts existed. The only times it felt like radio was when Opie interjected. Such great memories!
podcasts are the same as radio, it's just a different from of delivery to the customer and you can just start listening from the top, that's it.
Joe doesn't call everything "weird;" sometimes he calls things "strange."
