Anthony is what makes me miss about joe on TH-cam. He's so interesting and polirizing and opinionated and had a IDGAF attitude that I love reading people comment s about it
one of my favourite "in the barrel" moment was when Opie opened his mouth about breaking his nose body surfing. The next 20min of radio was absolute gold, i'm sure Opie went home and cried.
I loved when Patrice shoved Nopie in the barrel for a whole episode when he admitted he ordered a "Bikini-Tini" Martini infront of his in laws while on vacation with them.
Joe talks about milo getting cancelled later. Joe, you cancelled milo. You removed the episode. Joe: "hes inmate one from the unexpected covid release"
Anthony is being way too humble and selfless here. He was funnier than most of the comedians and carried that show every day. The speed of his witty mind is unpresedented.
100% this. Some of his lines are so quick it's almost unbelievable. Jimmy had a few lightning fast shots as well but Ant, despite not being a comedian, was almost always the funniest and most quick-witted person on the show.
Greatest radio show of all time. My dad turned me on to them 2 years ago after having listened to them working in a machine shop when I was a kid. Now Im 22 and I listen at work everyday.
Through Anthony being on here on Joe Rogan in 2014 I discovered who and what Opie and Anthony was. Being from England I was able to trawl through countless hours of O and A material and it's quite possibly my favorite show ever and I wish more people from the UK knew about this cause there's nothing even close to what it was here.
Started listening in 2019 and have struggled to find anything that hits the spot the same. The bonfire with Dan Soder and big Jay Oakerson is worth the listen as well.
Opie and Anthony from roughly 2012 through 2016 was epic. I had a long commute in that time span and nearly every day was so incredibly funny that it seemed impossible that they could top it from one day to the next -- and they did. Patrice O'Neal and Jim Norton as a nearly constant presence was genius. Anthony is funny as hell. Opie was the straight man who, before he started to get insecure, played the role to perfection. And the lineup of casual friends they had was incredible: Louis CK, Bill Burr, Ricky Gervais, you name it. These guys would just come in and hang out before they become international superstars. There are thousands of hours of golden material on the internet funnier than any comedy show you could pay for.
I like that Anthony after years of “radio wars” gives Howard his due respect. I was always a Howard guy so I never gave O & A a chance. I probably would have enjoyed it. Anthony is a funny dude
That was always Opie. Anthony was a huge Howard fan and said so on the show numerous times. I listened to both and you absolutely missed out, O&A at that time were lightyears ahead of Howard and Artie was the only thing that hid that fact to his listeners.
@@joshmurray1261 i.think the O and A rivalry they had really messed with different comics availability to each show. Like Norm Macdonald didn't really go on O and A. I wonder how much Howard and the o and a beef had to do with that. Just like the lack of videos of Patrice, bill burr and other comics at howard stern.
Nothing beats classic O&A. Endlessly re-listenable. So amazing there was a crew of brilliant East coast comics who didn’t do rehearsed bits and who didn’t worry about “branding” or having a persona. Just quick-witted ball busters.
I’ve been listening to TH-cam O&A clips almost everyday for the past 10 years and I still find stuff I haven’t heard before. Crazy how well preserved it is. It helps that, unlike Stern, they never attacked uploaders and let the show spread by word of mouth.
Haven't seen joe have this much respect for a guest in a long time. You can see O and A show really inspired him. Anthony Cumia is a class act for raising up sterns name even though they are competitors in the same market. So under rated. Everyone on the show. Tough job.
i love this fucken community 💯 the O&A show was just a dope hang out spot, felt like you were just talking shit with your friends listening to Anthony brings back the nostalgia of the great mid 2000's O&A shows and of course memories of Patrice, possibly the realest dude ever... RIP Patreeky 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Patrice O’Neil was a genius that could see the future. He called his own death out. The man was a visionary and the world is worse off without him in it. Respect..
Joe you will go down in history as the creator/chief witness of the "Baby Bird". I heard it live and I still cry laughing listening to it all these years later!
I wouldn't say better, but Louis Ck's appearances were just as funny, especially those call in shows. I think he just gets overlooked sometimes because he wasn't on as much as Patrice.
Love how Rogan gives kudos to the O&A show and for it's influence on his own show. Some comics who made their bones on that show distanced themselves from it.
We rented a car while on vacation just as O&A hit XM. My wife and I were crying from laughing our whole trip and I had to get an XM radio when I got back so I could listen. What a great run those guys had.
O&A was the best radio ever. I remember because they were on in the evening for the drive home when it really counted. There was nothing better than laughing my ass off on the drive home after a completely shitty day at work. Many time I was so happy I had to stop for a drink. They were fantastic. When they were the one and only to have the "stinky cam". Many times when something completely crazy or obscene was going on in the studio they were showing it on the stinky cam. Howard the self proclaimed king of media didn't even think of that. Here's to you O&A ....I wish your show was still on and Howard was gone.
Anthony learned to code to make the "Instant Feedback" HTML app that let any fan send instant messages to the studio. Anthony would read it out and give you credit every time he read one of listeners messages that made him laugh, I know for a fact the Nopester used to get some if not most of his good lines from listeners sending in instant feedback. He stole two of mine in one episode.

Even though he sucks now and is a complete sellout / hypocrite, Jim Jefferies was great on O&A too. The episode of him against Justine Joli is classic.
I remember once Patrice said on O&A " what do you call burning young white girls " and Louis C.K goes ''err, fun???" 😂
I believe it was sacrificing white virgins, but yeah, the absolute dream show would be Ant, Patrice, Louis and Jimmy. No holds barred, no apologies and no regrets, just funny.
@@ARUCARDFTEPES yeah i think you're right.. i mean i really wonder how unapologetic they were and how Cumia always said that why radio has to be nice and the way they made fun of fake celebs and unfunny radio jocks.. "nooootttt funnnyyyy" LMAO
When he started talking about people letting their ego get in the way, the true ones know who hes talking about...cough opie cough..
Totally agree. The money got to Ope’s head.
HOLD ON HOLD ON
Ol’ Joe loves ol’ Joe
Things are getting a bit too funny and interesting, time to go to a pointless phone call...
leave it alone
Anthony is what makes me miss about joe on TH-cam. He's so interesting and polirizing and opinionated and had a IDGAF attitude that I love reading people comment s about it
I am the most famous man on YouTub! This is not bragging! This is the truth! The truth will set you free, dear entwr
@@AxxLAfriku boring. Zzzz
youtube is slowly killing off everything that made it good.
O&A truely was the original podcast. Absolutely brilliant
WERE BACK! AND BETTER THAN EVER!!!!!!
Anthony was legit the funniest radio host i’ve ever heard.Just thinking about his impressions and singing in those bits with Patrice makes me laugh
His impressions are unreal!
one of my favourite "in the barrel" moment was when Opie opened his mouth about breaking his nose body surfing. The next 20min of radio was absolute gold, i'm sure Opie went home and cried.
"The imagination of paralyzed opie" 😀
"The Most Vicious Show"
The 2 hours following that is also hilarious. It's the funniest standalone episode in my opinion
I loved when Patrice shoved Nopie in the barrel for a whole episode when he admitted he ordered a "Bikini-Tini" Martini infront of his in laws while on vacation with them.
Next week on Opie's show: "Rogan is OBSESSED with me!"
Joe talks about milo getting cancelled later. Joe, you cancelled milo. You removed the episode. Joe: "hes inmate one from the unexpected covid release"
I still listen to the old o and a, mostly because of patrice, dudes a legend
I search Opie and Anthony bits, Patrice O'Neal bits
Man id kill to be able to hear Patrices take on the major events since he passed. He was not just funny but so intelligent, gone to soon
I used to have a 1 hour commute coming home from work. I would turn it into a 2 1/2 hour commute to listen to the O&A show!
O&A in it's prime was hands down the best radio entertainment ever!
I still listen to shows from 2005-2011 best era
Yeah me too, great to listen in long road trips
@@BoqPrecision you can look up all the Patrice episodes on Spotify. I think there's close to 200 episodes 3 hours a piece, and they're all great.
Just curious, why is 2011 the bookend?
Greatest radio show of all time. My dad turned me on to them 2 years ago after having listened to them working in a machine shop when I was a kid. Now Im 22 and I listen at work everyday.
Through Anthony being on here on Joe Rogan in 2014 I discovered who and what Opie and Anthony was. Being from England I was able to trawl through countless hours of O and A material and it's quite possibly my favorite show ever and I wish more people from the UK knew about this cause there's nothing even close to what it was here.
UK/European radio fucking sucks
Was sitting on the fence about checking them out as I’ve been watching Anthony an Gavin but you’ve swayed me.
America leads the way, for good and bad 💪
Great to have the Tunisian back-alley knife merchant back on!
it feels like every time anthony comes to the podcast Joe tells him about their impact.
Oh yeah. How many times has Joe mentioned how Anthony doing karaoke with a gun in front of a green screen was a huge influence on him podcasting.
O and A were ahead of Howard. But Opie had no talent. And he had to stay relevant. Highly recommend o and A.
I never cared for Stern on the radio but it’s important to give him his due. He did a fuckton for radio!
@@worldeconomicforum7210 I think that had more to do with Norm wanting to stay in his apartment urinating in bottles and playing online poker
Man O&A was amazing. Best thing that ever happened to me!!
Nothing beats classic O&A. Endlessly re-listenable. So amazing there was a crew of brilliant East coast comics who didn’t do rehearsed bits and who didn’t worry about “branding” or having a persona. Just quick-witted ball busters.
RIP Patrice O Neal

RIP Diabetic Racist.
Anthony's flow is incredible
We lived the good old days, at least we can occasionally still reminisce.
I was a religious JRE listener before I heard of O&A. There's so much material out there its all I listen to now.
Same here Guts. I discovered O&A through Rogan and now it's what gets me through my commute and shift every day
Rogan is tame and stupid compared to O&A
I’ve been listening to TH-cam O&A clips almost everyday for the past 10 years and I still find stuff I haven’t heard before.
Tough job.
Wow, a reason for me to open up Spotify and watch JRE for a change 👌
Anyone else love the fact that when Opie continuesly sees Anthony on Rogans podcast, a tear leaves his eye like the Indian in that old commercial....
That "indian" dude was Italian not indian
Nah , I think you're one of the few pathetic people that actually put effort into hating a washed up radio host , on the internet of course 😁
Ant has been the funniest guy on radio for years.
I still listen to O&A archives all the time. Classic show.
Dude oanda are still about 8 hrs of what I listen to at work. They were the best
i love this fucken community 💯
the O&A show was just a dope hang out spot, felt like you were just talking shit with your friends
listening to Anthony brings back the nostalgia of the great mid 2000's O&A shows
and of course memories of Patrice, possibly the realest dude ever... RIP Patreeky 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Patrice O’Neil was a genius that could see the future. He called his own death out. The man was a visionary and the world is worse off without him in it. Respect..
What's genius about it, probably repeated what his physician told him.
Really hard to predict when you have diabetes and a sugar addiction 🙄
Joe you will go down in history as the creator/chief witness of the "Baby Bird". I heard it live and I still cry laughing listening to it all these years later!
Everyone is talking about Patrice and his appearances on O&A, but even better was Louis CK's hours long call-ins on the show, absolutely incredible.
I wouldn't say better, but Louis Ck's appearances were just as funny, especially those call in shows. I think he just gets overlooked sometimes because he wasn't on as much as Patrice.
Loved O&A and whip em out wednesdays. Miss the guys on the radio. Thanks Rogan for posting. This was nostalgic.
Glad to see I’m not the only one that has listened to every word Patrice said on O&A. Such a loss.
Love how Rogan gives kudos to the O&A show and for it's influence on his own show. Some comics who made their bones on that show distanced themselves from it.
Anthony is a legend. And modern-day internet media (and what have you) would look completely different if it wasn't for the O&A show.
The Opie & Anthony Show was the greatest radio show of all time!
The first ever O & A bit I heard was the ‘Tasty Exotic Animals’ episode with Patrice. Still one of the funniest things I’ve ever heard
@Ghufran Ghufran Fried antelope cheeks
Whale blow hole on a special occasion
Koala Achilles lmfao
We rented a car while on vacation just as O&A hit XM. My wife and I were crying from laughing our whole trip and I had to get an XM radio when I got back so I could listen. What a great run those guys had.
I miss Opie and Anthony. I don’t hate Opie like most people do. I loved the show and wish it was back
Hold on hold on hold on
Opie does even like opie

FUCK SPOTIFY, RELEASE THE FULL VIDEO!
He stole two of mine in one episode.
there no word of praise high enough for any fan of comedy, that they got us SO MUCH recorded patrice content, the goat of comedy as far as im concerned
Spotify has deleted 42 episodes. So much for not changing. :(
42?! Really? That's crazy! I know the Delia episodes were gone, the Milo, and Alex Jones didnt make it up there too, what else did they delete?
I hate how Joe never acknowledges it. He always says Spotify has his back, when it's obviously the opposite.
@@conversationstranglersteve9873 I saw at least 2 AJ ones on the Spotify list a couple days ago when Cumia's first appeared...they appear to still be available.

I miss the O&A with Patrice Oneal days. Thank goodness there’s hours and hours of the shows online
Anthony wanted to say “ya we let comedians riff despite Opie’s best effort”
great to see all the Patrice O'Neal love; all of those countless hours listening to him on O&A and the Black Phillip Show helped change my worldview. Thankful for Patreeky
O&A really spotlight lighted Patrice, the funniest comedian to ever live.
That Patrice impression killed me 🤣 RIP
"Anthony Cumia reflects....off of Joe's shiny bald head"

That's a lie, vampires have no reflection..
Emotional vampires..Or at least that's according to

I been listening to "the best of OnA" vids for months. What a great time. Srry I missed it, glad it's recorded.
The shit that Cumia and Gavin Mcinnes are doing right now is fucking hilarious
Credit to Ant for setting up a free speech station,, fellow freethinkers of the world please support him and compound media👍👍
Anthony and Norton bouncing off each other were the funniest bar none.
100%
Making Norton piss his pants laughing was a skill Ant figured out. That's something you can't fake.
Opie has legit lost his mind and it's sad
Legendary Ant did a Patrice Impression 😱
Always my most favorite guest. Worth going on Spotify for this one.
