I must admit that Howard Stern was a comedy God for a while during his prime (mainly between 1987-1992). Every show was so funny you would cry laughing. Howard could just sit there with Robin for four hours and make you forget your own life while immersed in this deep sea of comedy. On top of that he was still hungry to succeed and wasn't really that rich yet. A lot of the shows I'm talking about are maybe lost for ever because K Rock where he worked kept those tapes and I don't know who has them now. Also, he had celebrities, hookers, drug addicts and just crazy people on. Best show alltime.

Ok Molly how about this...... if you have the following interviews and you put them on TH-cam as individual videos, I'll send you 40 dollars for each upload. I'm looking for the following forgotten hilarious interviews on Stern. When he had Mother Love from MTV on his show. 2nd, an interview I forgot the year where David Spade was called out by a caller for dumping his girlfriend on the set of SNL. 3rd, a Sherman Hemsley interview (who played George Jefferson on the Jefferson) and a caller calls him and asks him if he lost his hair after going down on Weezy too many times. Once you upload each of them leave me a message with the link of each video and your PayPal account and the second I see the video I will send you 40 dollars for EACH of those interviews that include what I'm talking about. I hope you have it Molly. Give it a shot finding that. Thanks.

I watch the best of the week videos they make and it looks more like what it was in the early 00s than what he did just a couple of years ago. He got a lot of sh** for getting mellow and his boss got the blame for it and it was probably the reason why they changed it to more like it was when Artie was on.

So glad to hear Joe say this, re: @ 2:25, all that Howard endured to BE Howard Stern.
I was right there, up on W. 117th and Broadway, listening to the 3-7 p.m. show. When
Howard got canned by NBC, fined by the FCC, etc. etc. etc. It was clear they were trying
to TAKE Howard out, and for awhile it looked just LIKE that. This was how they took
Lenny Bruce out, they got him in court, kept him in court - Lenny began putting on weight,
getting depressed, using etc. Howard's earned everything that's come to Howard. The
hard way, and that goes for the Core Five on that great show: Robin, Fred, Gary, Jackie.

The 80s Stern was radical back then but cringe now. The late 90s early 00s Stern was the best. After losing Artie it went downhill fast. But he has gone more back to the mid 00s the last year. Watch the Best of the week videos. They obviously have changed it up a lot from the dull show just a couple of years ago.

The thing that annoys me with Howard Stern is when he's "interviewing" someone he doesn't really let them say anything other than confirming or correcting their story that HE'S telling. Then when they try and continue to tell their own story he cuts them off to continue it for them. When you watch the videos of it they always seem either annoyed or bored once they realize they're not gonna be able to say anything without getting interrupted for an hour

    • @Jeremyramone
