Hey I have watched a few videos, it would be great if you include these aspects as well in your reviews - 1. The clock speed of the RAM 2. Upgradability of the the laptop, ie RAM slots, sata slots, M.2 slots (or if components are soldered) 3. When you present AMD benchmarks, their comparison to intel counterparts. 4. Try and run a bit demanding games for others to get an idea for Vega graphics (FPS tests). Intel igpus are not good with weak integrated graphics. On the other hand Vega 11 is equivalent (if not better) to GT 1030 dedicated gpu. 5. Like you explain the company's line up for smartphones, which variant is suitable for who, intercompany comparison, etc same for laptops because there are a lot of product variants.
I'm also using the same laptop, and i feel i am pretty satisfied with this one, i was really concerned about the screen quality but i feel its not good to compare it with higher priced laptops. I'm satisfied with the screen also as the screen clarity is up to the mark. it just the colors that are not great when viewed from a different angle. you won't even notice that if you don't compare it with other high end laptop... if you're thinking of buying it just go for it. it will be more than adequate for most of the user as the performance is rock solid you wont even notice a single frame drop while doing your day to day job. As i also edit a lot of photos(on Adobe Lightroom) its really lacks there in the display side but i use to connect it with my 4k tv to edit photos... as that have an amazing color profile. the performance is so great all thanks to Asus Optimization, the CPU frequency easily reaches 3.5Ghz without overclocking... you just have to keep laptop on flat surface as there is a air vent below that easily get covered and significantly alter the performance. It Just get warm from the left corner of keyboard only when used in a hot environment which do not have sufficient air flow. The battery life is not that great(3 hr)(in heavy usage in best performance mode and full brightness). It is not a concern for me as I'm always close to an outlet. if you're not using it for heavy task and at 40% brightness it can last for more that 4.5 hrs easily (in better battery) which also have very good performance... speakers are also great... its clarity is amazing gives you feel of Dolby Atmos surround sound due to perfectly balanced stereo speakers... I used to hear some FLAC audio files on this one and its also great there, you can easily hear all the instruments. overall its a balanced package for normal people and freelancer. it can get you through your job easily. little bit of gaming can also be done. Simple Photo and video editing is also not that tough(just need an external display for color accuracy) overall very good balanced laptop.
@@Maheshbabu-ud2wk It is more than adequate for anyone regarding performance. You have two other options in this price bracket, HP14s- dk0093au or 15s-eq0024au... you can choose from these 3... as i am using asus one im completely satisfied with what i got...
@@arun8225 screen is perfectly fine for normal uses. Reviewers are just nit picking... screen viewing angles are also good for solo uses...not recommended for watching movies with multiple viewers as it get a little dark if viewed from far top and bottom... no issues in left to right viewing angles... perfectly usable display for all the tasks. camera is also similar to all other webcams available in the market at this price... yes the microphone is pretty good for meetings...
After using this laptop for 1 year here are some cons: 1. Cooling system is pathetic. It will thermal throttle very easily on heavy tasks like video editing and gaming. 2. Build is very plastiky it will get scratches very easily so better get it laminated. 3. 4 gb ram is soldered on board so you can upgrade it to only 12gb max and if you upgrade it to 12gb you will loose graphics performance because ram will work on single channel if you use 2 different size ram sticks. 4. Battery backup is around 2.5 hour on max brightness and 3.5 on low brightness. 5. Keyboard layout is bit odd but its not big deal you will get used to it. 6. Display colors looks little washed of but its ok in this price range. 90% of people would not even notice it. Otherwise performance is great better than i5 processor and you will get great gpu performance with it. And also portability is great with 14" form factor.

I had ordered this one from Flipkart. But in the night I saw your review of Marq Falkon aerbook. I cancelled it and ordered the Marq. What a blunder! This is a far far better laptop at the same price. The Marq had heating problems, the webcam was like adhaar card camera, the sound output was barely audible and keyboard wasn't backlit. There was no fingerprint scanner also. RAM was DDR3 and SSD was 256 G only. I wish you had reviewed this earlier. I would have made a better decision. But I am so glad that you are doing this review for so many other people who are struggling in these difficult times. At least they will be able to buy a better product. Keep up the good work Ranjit. Help your countrymen (and women) in making an informed choice with their limited money.
I'm using Asus vivobook 15 launched in Last June 2019. And that time I pre-booked my laptop first time. I always prefer Intel over another processor. Other wise It's Asus. 👍
It will be great if you can make a video on Acer Aspire 7 i5 9th gen 512gb ssd 1650 graphics it is priced at about 57 k but during sale it comes down to 52-53k
I have been using this since 3 months and its awsome for day to day tasks and little bit of gamming...the performance is awsome and very fast as it has 512gb nvme ssd....has very good battery backup and supports fast charging and very portable go for it without any second choice
You sir are doing great work. I just feel you should also show the open back of laptops that you can so we can get a better idea of upgradeability and thermal solution. As I personally have the 15 inch version of the laptop and it has very easy upgrade possibility.
My review after using it for three months. Cons: 1. Screen is really below average. Viewing angles are pathetic, and colour accuracy is bad. 2. It heats a lot, even with normal tasks it heats a lot. Though it doesn't necessarily affects the performance, but it burns. Pros: 1. The performance - the performance on this one is just great for the price point, buttery smooth would be understatement. It boots up in 4-5 sec and shuts down in 2-3 secs, thanks to SSD. And it runs with no lag or latency at all. 2. Keyboard - okay so I'm a writer, and i hit a thousand keys on that everyday. And to really confess, the keyboard is great. The feel, the feedback, and the click accuracy is commendable. 3. Build Quality - This looks gorgeous with that color, compact size(too compact compared to anything in 14inches). Thin Bazels looks sexy. Even the feel in hand is good. It doesn't feel cheap, it feels good. 4. Battery - I know in most reviews the battery is said to be pathetic. Though that might be in their case, but in my case it is actually good. With the laptop being on for almost 24 hours, and most of the times working on 2-3 MS Doc, 10-20 chrome tabs, and WordPress, and other screen writing softwares etcetera, the battery still gives me 5-6 working hours without a problem. That's a surprise, but that's true. Neutral: Track pad- Track pad is good enough, nothing wrong with that... Speakers- they are loud, rich, and clear, However my former Asus laptop had better. But these are good enough. Overall: Though there are some major cons like screen and heating issues. But overall, this is a great laptop at the price. It has been working like a charm for me, and would recommend it to anyone.
The same model I bought it for my sister at 31k....since now demand came by ....they increased pricing....also slightly lower/ older specsed AMD A12 version was on selling at 27k....that could have been more economical for students
@@dpriyan7653 My reviews - It's a decent laptop . Processor is very good . It's very fast due to SSD Ideal for daily usage . There are some cons also like Battery backup is not very good approx 3.5 hrs Display is not very brilliant but it's ok. Verdict - It is a good choice if your budget is fixed below 42K
Very good review. For me personally, this laptop is a deal breaker because of the display. Not because of the reason that it is NTSC 45% but it is a TN panel with very bad viewing angles. So for content consumption, it is not a good choice. The Avita Pura has a much better IPS display on it and content consumption is much better on it. I personally got the Lenovo Ideapad C340-14API (6006PIN) with Ryzen 5 3500U, 8 GB dual channel RAM (4 GB soldered + 4 GB user upgradeable), 1 TB NVMe SSD, 14 " 1080p IPS panel with touch and a stylus for 53000 INR on March 2020. Personally, I think ASUS should give an IPS panel on the laptop you reviewed here even if it is 45% NTSC.
I have been using this same laptop since a year, bought it for 36k from Asus Store. And here's my experience about it. - Screen is gorgeous kind of feels dynamic but there's some yellow tint which after several failed attempts didn't found a workaround. - Hinge is damn solid, no wobble at all even after a year. - Battery backup is decent, i easily get around 3 hours without any hassle once full charge it at low brightness settings doing moderate work including web browsing and office work. - Speakers are loud, real loud ! Love it ! - Keyboard is awesome. You'll love typing on it ! - Fingerprint is fast and accurate, trackpad is good too. - The show stealer is however the processor, AMD Ryzen 5 is bang for buck at gaming ! I play Battlefield 1 720p Low settings gives me 60+ FPS, Valorant with 720p gives me 90+ FPS, Runs GTA V at lower resolutions and graphics settings at 60+ FPS, DOTA 2 at 70+ FPS at 720p. (never expected such performance) - Fans go pretty loud while playing games but at nominal loads , it's silent. The only flaw that I found with it is that it doesn't has a LAN/Gigabit port. Also Windows Updates are annoying and does something wrong to system whenever you update the system. Been happily using for a year. I would recommend it to anyone anyday :) but since it was launched a year ago and upcoming processors have been announced I suggest, Wait for 4th Gen Ryzen ! and get those !
There is a solution for yellow tint Wait for 2-3 mins after yellow tint arrives, then goto task manager and stop the asus on screen display, then open up notification panel, it works for me Another way is to download amd radeon software, open it, goto display, then close asus on screen display from task manager, then choose vari-bright from Radeon software, if it doesn't works then open notification panel again, this worked for me whenever method 1 failed to work.
It's not a very good performer. Thermal solution is implemented poorly leading to heating issues, also it's quite less powerful than its AMD counterpart. The graphic card is not even good enough to play CS Go at constant 40 50 fps.
Rapid_Shift it all gets down to processors in cs go! It is not at all gpu heavy ! If u have a weak processor it will play similar in igpu and on dgpu as well

Simple Photo and video editing is also not that tough(just need an external display for color accuracy)
overall very good balanced laptop.

camera is also similar to all other webcams available in the market at this price... yes the microphone is pretty good for meetings...
After using this laptop for 1 year here are some cons:

Thanks for giving laptops review.. everybody's actually is giving mobile review. But probably laptops review are more fun to watch..😀
@8:16 He skipped video on his own TH-cam channel..... Legend 😂😂😂😂
My review after using it for three months.
Cons:
1. Screen is really below average. Viewing angles are pathetic, and colour accuracy is bad.
2. It heats a lot, even with normal tasks it heats a lot. Though it doesn't necessarily affects the performance, but it burns.
Pros:
Neutral:
Track pad- Track pad is good enough, nothing wrong with that...
Speakers- they are loud, rich, and clear, However my former Asus laptop had better. But these are good enough.
Overall:
Though there are some major cons like screen and heating issues. But overall, this is a great laptop at the price. It has been working like a charm for me, and would recommend it to anyone.
Thanks for your review.
Thanks for the review

Verdict - It is a good choice if your budget is fixed below 42K
@@_AyushGautam2733 oh okay thanks for your information bro🙌
Please review some laptops for Engineering students, Ultrabooks and all.
(never expected such performance)
- Fans go pretty loud while playing games but at nominal loads , it's silent.
The only flaw that I found with it is that it doesn't has a LAN/Gigabit port.
Also Windows Updates are annoying and does something wrong to system whenever you update the system.
Been happily using for a year. I would recommend it to anyone anyday :)
but since it was launched a year ago and upcoming processors have been announced I suggest,
Wait for 4th Gen Ryzen ! and get those !
There is a solution for yellow tint
Wait for 2-3 mins after yellow tint arrives, then goto task manager and stop the asus on screen display, then open up notification panel, it works for me
Another way is to download amd radeon software, open it, goto display, then close asus on screen display from task manager, then choose vari-bright from Radeon software, if it doesn't works then open notification panel again, this worked for me whenever method 1 failed to work.
Yellow light is better for your eyes as it's not having any TUV certificate panel. Filters blue light and won't strain your eyes.
