As an Ukrainian I agree 80% Germans are blonde and blue eyed, meanwhile Ukrainians 10% blue eyed and blonde. Germans have light blonde, slavs have dark brownish, but for Asians it's blonde. For Europeans real blonde people it is Germans, swedes, Norwegians, danes, Finns.

I see the misconception that Americans typically have blonde hair and blue eyes is still strong in Japan. The most common eye color in America is in fact, brown, at a little below 50%. And only like 6% of the population has natural blonde hair. I suppose that's still infinitely more than what you see in Japan though.

That's a gen Z thing. Most of them have never been out of Japan, so of course they only have an image of America through Hollywood, etc. Many Japanese know that America is a melting pot. being an American, I gotta say the Japanese women have the wrong image of an American man. Most of us actually have brown eyes and blondes are actually quite rare taking the entire population in mind. Their image of handsome men seem to match Scandinavian men which brings me to the point that they rank Swedes #1 then Spanish, then Japanese and Korean.
I call the Scandinavian blondes platinum white. I had the very same impression "Americans are blondes and blue eyes" until I moved to the US, and traveled around the country. There are a lot of shades of light browns, dark blondes, strawberry blondes, medium blondes around that will be seen as all "blonde" to individuals perceptions, at distance There are also a lot of shades of blues, hazel, browns, greens, eyes etc. There are also different Native Americans peoples groups ancestry inside American families. My husband and his family are mostly red and blonde hair to this day, but his great grandmother was a dark haired Cherokee. As we come close we can observe the multitude of shades. I find it very interesting to observe the different genes mixing, and often curious to know about their ancestry and where their unique looks came about.
I live in UK, travelled everywhere from Americas, to Japan and south hemisphere of the globe. Japanese people have a rose tint glasses of many countries. I don't blame them though because of TV.

He paid those girls money to lie in some cases (Not all). You can see it when they're eyes move all over the place as if they're trying to remember what to say. I went on a 6 month business trip to Japan in 2022, to several cities, met a girl in Fukuoka that was amazing and we tried to stay together for about a year after I left (neither of us made enough money to be able to travel to eachother back and forth). Fell in love with that lady HARD and A LOT of other things in Japan. She spoke English quite well but I felt like it would still have been a lot easier sometimes if I spoke some Japanese as well. I am from Sweden and in some aspects our societies are similar, but still extremely different. Love these videos

I had the luxury of working my regular Swedish hours and schedule and so on so I got the perfect mix between being a tourist and living there during that time. But neither I or her were ready to move countries at that time sadly, maybe we were both just too chicken haha
They got emasculated after losing world war 2 and now all they get is hate sadly. Historically, Japanese macho culture was all about victory or death. They were so fast to adopt western culture in the 1800s just because they wanted to wield western firepower. Traditionally there are many Japanese tourists in Spain. Some love flamenco. But, anyway, that you havent met Spaniards travelling doesnt mean we dont travel.:)
There are many japanese women married to spanish men living in Spain, one of the main reasons they like spanish men is because the level of affection in the relationship is way higher than in Japan, which is something that women need regardless of nationality or culture. In japan, relationships can be sometimes very cold.
Of all these videos I don’t recall ever seeing a Japanese girl finding Chinese men to be the most attractive, which is interesting considering the similarity in complexion compared to Japanese men.
That's because to them any Latin type is meshed into Spain (like that one girl who thought Neymar was Spanish). For us Latin countries the difference is obvious, but from a Japanese perspective it's not as clear.

For a topic like this, I'd guess he'd be interviewing mostly really young women who don't have much of a world view yet. Guy that was stationed in Japan. I have seen Mexican men crushing it. Just bring that fun vibe and culture you will be fine. In my opinion don't take these interviews seriously. Just entertainment to me because I was stationed in Japan and was able to date a few Japanese girls and I am not this videos preferred type.

What's clear from the answers - everyone was very biased in favor of the one or two places outside of Japan they have visited, or maybe the few foreigners the interacted. The US of course is a strange answer because the country is far from homogeneous and there are significant regional difference in the average appearance. Well I'm a tall blonde-haired, blue-eyed German who moved to the US 19 years ago. A visitor might wrongly conclude that I represent the typical look here.
I'd guess Japan gets most of their perception of America from Hollywood movies. When they think US, they think white. Sure, there are an awful lot of white people there, but America is really everything and everyone. It's not a strange answer at all given how influential the country is. What is interesting is the types of European countries they choose. Not necessarily surprising, just interesting to see which they favor. There are attractive people in every country of the world.

I am Japanese. Probably many of the women on the show don't know the race or country of their favorite entertainers and seem to have little experience traveling abroad. It would be good to ask them as entertainment content. However, fewer women than expected answered Korea.
If their image of foreign people is from television, it's easy to make generalizations. Watching a Korean TV show will show you plenty of handsome men and beautiful women, but you won't see more beautiful women walking down the street in Korea than you will in Japan. All countries have beautiful people. All countries have average looking people. If you are dating, it comes down to the individual.

@BobCostas-db5hb Even in northern italy, only 20% have blonde hair and 12% blue eyes. When you get to sardinia only 0.5% have those features. I did not say theyre not white, but they range from very fair to tanned/olive skin.

Japanese women are cute especially with tne hand over the mouth gesture. Ive been to Japan many times over the years and theyre always so nice and polite. I think I've only ever met one Japanese woman that'd I'd consider unfriendly and rude and another couple just unhelpful but overall very sweet.

Visiting Spain was an experience where I thought "if I was capable of becoming bisexual, this is the country I would want to be in." The women were naturally gorgeous and stunning, and so were the men. Just a beautiful nation in a hundred ways. I live in California, and California actually has a lot of very good looking people of many ethnicities. It seems to attract good looking people. Or rather the cost of living results in more wealthy people living there, and on average, the better looking a person, the more likely they are to attain wealth. I'm Californian but I had to lean on cleverness and personality, my looks certainly would not get me anywhere (bad or good).
You should find guys living in japan from these countries for girls that say that country, then introduce them in a next video. It would be like a really awkward dating show. OR have a korean, russian, british, american and swedish, spanish, french and brazilian guy follow you around hiding behind the camera then introduce them if they say one of the most common picks haha

I went on a 6 month business trip to Japan in 2022, to several cities, met a girl in Fukuoka that was amazing and we tried to stay together for about a year after I left (neither of us made enough money to be able to travel to eachother back and forth). Fell in love with that lady HARD and A LOT of other things in Japan. She spoke English quite well but I felt like it would still have been a lot easier sometimes if I spoke some Japanese as well. I am from Sweden and in some aspects our societies are similar, but still extremely different. Love these videos

I had the luxury of working my regular Swedish hours and schedule and so on so I got the perfect mix between being a tourist and living there during that time. Traditionally there are many Japanese tourists in Spain. Some love flamenco. But, anyway, that you havent met Spaniards travelling doesnt mean we dont travel.:)
There are many japanese women married to spanish men living in Spain, one of the main reasons they like spanish men is because the level of affection in the relationship is way higher than in Japan, which is something that women need regardless of nationality or culture. In japan, relationships can be sometimes very cold.

That's because to them any Latin type is meshed into Spain (like that one girl who thought Neymar was Spanish). For us Latin countries the difference is obvious, but from a Japanese perspective it's not as clear.

What's clear from the answers - everyone was very biased in favor of the one or two places outside of Japan they have visited, or maybe the few foreigners the interacted.
The US of course is a strange answer because the country is far from homogeneous and there are significant regional difference in the average appearance.
Well I'm a tall blonde-haired, blue-eyed German who moved to the US 19 years ago. A visitor might wrongly conclude that I represent the typical look here.
I'd guess Japan gets most of their perception of America from Hollywood movies. When they think US, they think white. Sure, there are an awful lot of white people there, but America is really everything and everyone.
It's not a strange answer at all given how influential the country is. What is interesting is the types of European countries they choose. Not necessarily surprising, just interesting to see which they favor. There are attractive people in every country of the world.
It's all just based on image unless they've actually been. Most who said USA are thinking of Hollywood.

Visiting Spain was an experience where I thought "if I was capable of becoming bisexual, this is the country I would want to be in." The women were naturally gorgeous and stunning, and so were the men. Just a beautiful nation in a hundred ways. I live in California, and California actually has a lot of very good looking people of many ethnicities. It seems to attract good looking people. Or rather the cost of living results in more wealthy people living there, and on average, the better looking a person, the more likely they are to attain wealth. I'm Californian but I had to lean on cleverness and personality, my looks certainly would not get me anywhere (bad or good).
You should find guys living in japan from these countries for girls that say that country, then introduce them in a next video. It would be like a really awkward dating show.
