I been getting shots every 6 months . Found your videos. I am down now 75lbs in the gym 3 days a week. Started 6 months ago doing ass muscle work. I have almost no pain. Thank you. Btw 60yo
A month a half ago when I had knee pain and couldn’t bear weight on that side my physical therapist told me I needed to stay off it. So I bought a wheelchair and used it around the house for a month or so, combined with a walker if I needed to go somewhere. I’m finally having much less knee pain and am rebuilding the strength on that side. Exercises I’ve learned on this channel as well as exercises I’m doing with my PT have helped tremendously! I’m still not fully healed but there’s light at the end of the tunnel! Good luck everyone.
Hi Pat, Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re so sorry you’ve been dealing with bone-on-bone knee issues-many people don’t realize how challenging that can be unless they’ve experienced it themselves. It’s great to hear that water aerobics and the exercises are helping you feel better! You might also find our Knee Arthritis Help Playlist helpful: th-cam.com/play/PLJVIPiFvv1maa9YF-WmKLF7oI4VoczH8i.html. It’s full of additional tips and exercises that could support your progress. You’re doing an amazing job staying active and taking care of your knees-keep it up!
Brilliant, thank you for this excellent overview of your videos. I have been following the techniques for a few months and am now at stage 5 and back to hiking several miles without issue. I’m constantly aware of how I’m moving - great to have this reminder about being mindful, which I actually enjoy as it feels empowering!
Hi Nicola, Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re thrilled to hear that you’re back to hiking and feeling empowered through mindful movement-it’s such an accomplishment! Many people don’t realize how much of a difference these techniques can make until they try them, and your story is incredibly encouraging. Keep up the great work, and we’re so glad the videos have been helpful to you on your journey!
Wisconsin here. You're such a blessing! Everything you're discussing is what I'm going through. " the clam" glute strengthing. The information you are sharing is life changing. Thank you so much!
Hi Destany, We’re sorry to hear you’ve been going through challenges, but it’s amazing that you’re finding the information and exercises helpful! Many people don’t realize how life-changing strengthening the glutes can be for improving movement and reducing pain. Thank you so much for your kind words-they mean so much to us. Keep up the great work, you've got this! 🙌
After discovering your videos a couple of months ago, I abandoned the quad-strengthening exercises I’d been doing (which seemed to be making the pain worse) and followed your advice about contracting the glute muscles. It’s taken several weeks, but at last I can say categorically that it’s working. The difference is truly astonishing, given the pain I was in and how well my knee feels now. I’d just advise anyone trying your method to be patient - keep working on these exercises, day after day, and the results will come. I can’t thank you enough. ✨✨✨
Hi George, We're sorry to hear that you’ve been struggling with knee pain-it’s something many people face, and it can be incredibly challenging to navigate. Thank you so much for sharing your experience and encouraging others to stay patient and consistent with the exercises. We’re thrilled to hear that focusing on your glutes has made such a positive difference for you! Your determination and kind words truly mean a lot to us. Keep up the amazing work-you’re inspiring others on their own journeys! 🧡
I have super strong quads from being a competitive cyclist and running all my life, but glutes relatively weak. Your videos have helped me make some changes to my training. I’ve reduced the mileage and added in 3 strength sessions/week. The one excersise that hurts my knees is lunges.Probably due partly to weakness in the hip area . Am sticking to the baby lunges you recommend. Also regarding inflammation, would a change in diet help? For example cutting out refined sugar, and many processed foods, soda and fast foods.
This is so true. When say to my Dr, "I hurt so much down to the side front of my knee" she said that is your tendons. Been strengthening my gltes...don't feel it now.
I am 64, recovering from a spinal fusion surgery. I have just found out it is a non-union and revision surgery is highly likely. My left knee has already had two surgeries over the years. The pain can be excruciating, but it will be at least a year before I could even consider knee replacement, which honestly seems inevitable to me. If I sign up for your knee arthritis program, which I would love to try, will I be able to do the exercises? I have limited mobility at the moment and can’t put any weight on the left knee at all. I do very much want to do your program. I have extremely weak muscles in all those areas you described. I KNOW that is the root of the problem.
Hi 123Rockchild, Here are a couple of playlists with some great glute exercises. “Top 5 Glute Muscle Exercises For Knee Pain” th-cam.com/video/NXdCjT2QtJA/w-d-xo.html “Top 6 Standing Glute Exercises To Help Knee Pain” th-cam.com/video/jD7IRBfJ-mM/w-d-xo.html We hope this helps!
I think the problem navigating unlevel ground is due to weak toe muscles. I used to have that problem, I was very clumsy on uneven ground...but while working on helping a sore and swollen knee, the clumsy (or worse) navigation on uneven ground has been restored, and I can get around like when I was a kid. I've been doing the glute strengthening while walking for some time now, and was actually surprised to find while watching this video and tried glute squeezing while sitting ... that I can't activate the glutes exclusively, and I can't activate one side at a time, while sitting! My walking has improved dramatically because of using the glutes to move my feet rather than using the quads, so I thought I had the glutes covered! I started the toe strengthening exercises a few months ago, and recently have started working on strengthening the abs. That has also helped my stability on uneven ground...I have felt the abs activate as I keep myself upright on unlevel surfaces. The toe curls along with ab strengthening and glute activation have all played a part in helping me navigate unlevel ground. But I think the toe strengthening specifically has really made a big difference in helping me keep upright on unlevel ground.
I tore my knee ligaments and miniscus..very painfull cartilage almost gone ... now still recovering .now I feel like a pulling or cramping of the tendon at back of the knee Im 73 years old is this pullong or cramping normal im giving it plenty of rest .thanks for your advice
Excellent video - thank you! I actually don't have anymore knee pain, thanks mainly to you. I had terrible pain even after lots of PT, so I stopped going. Do you have this exact type of video that will prevent pain in the hip flexor? I stopped PT for that also, for the same reason, no relief except for your videos. The difference is that sometimes I'll get a sharp pain again in that same left hip flexor, but only when I do an exercise that aggravates it - and then it's too late - the pain is already there. It would be a huge help to know what motions to avoid for prevention, and what to do to stay pain free, same as this video. (some of the exercises I was given in PT actually made it worse, just as you said).

Where can I find a 1/2 sized exam table, massage table, i.e., any therapist's or physician's exam table. Is there such a thing on the market? Half the size of a normal sized one. I'm wanting one so that I can swing my knees with light weights on them, at an appropriate height from the floor. I don't have a high enough chair. Any ideas or suggestions?
Hey @allkindsamusicchick! We are not sure about half sized tables, however, we often advise people to sit on their kitchen table or a bar stool. We have also had people who went to a nearby park and sat on the table from the park as well. Hope this helps!
Hi David. I am an OMT and have been recommending your programs to clients. Is there or is there not group coaching. Yesterday I received a forwarded message from your team saying there is no group coaching at this time due to low interest. Thanks
What if there is popping and irritation when i do tailgate swings? Also, i have been working on use my glutes and feet when walking, but that seems to give me hio flexor pain...any thoughts?
Do the glute muscle exerciser/ stimulation machines work?? My sister had knee replacement on one knee and needs the other one done. She's mentally ill and self spoiled rotten so she wont exercise. Pushing 70 with the mind of a 5 year old. I need help.
I had a lady today while I was trying to get in my morning walk offer to give me the cane that her mother had used - her mother has passed away. I had to decline because I just feel that I am the type of person who once they have a 'crutch' will keep it forever and I don't want to do that. I did think about your advice to offload the inflammation but decided that I didn't want to rely on something like a cane because I couldn't see me ever giving it up.
This guy knows what he's talking about! 👍 Thank you for sharing your expertise. Now, everyone, go do the work! 🦵🦶💪 Your Dr. will not explain ANY of this to you.
Hi Karla, Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement! We’re so glad you found the information helpful and empowering. You’re absolutely right-putting in the work is key, and it’s amazing that you’re taking charge of your health. Keep it up, and thank you for sharing such a positive message with everyone! 🙌
My husband had such terrible joint pain to were he couldn't get through a day of work. He told the Dr and they switched from one to another. Nothing helped come to find out he was highly allergic to the medication. So he went off all of them. No more pain or stiffness. He went on a very cleen keto diet.
Try keto or carnivore. Dr. Shawn Baker (ortho surgeon) is carnivore and has helped folks not need their joint replacement surgery through diet by reducing inflammation so the pain goes away.

This sounds strange, but not wearing the same shoes two days in a row makes a huge difference in my pain and stiffness. I have osteoarthritis arthritis in both knees-at the bone-on-bone stage. Not much helps. But changing out my shoes makes more difference than anything else. It doesn’t matter if the shoes are new, snd the style doesn’t matter either, other than they need to be supportive.

Hey there! I have flat feet and arthritic knee as well. I saw a sports med doctor and he suggested orthotics. Diet will help immensely with getting down inflammation…..no sugar, low carb diet…..greatly improved my inflammation…
Hey Polski! You are absolutely correct! Diet is an imperative part of managing arthritis. Decreasing inflammation will definitely be a massive help!
