Hi Sam: they typically have some great 15 gal Pinkerton but not this time around. There selection of the 15 gal wasn't the best. There 24" boxes were quite good. Thank you for your comment and thank you for watching!
Why are you spending $160 on 15 gallon trees? Aren’t you a member of the California Rare Fruit Growers? I purchased a Sharwil for $15 at a recent meeting.
Hi Ryan: I believe I am a member. Thanks for sharing, I have to try attending a meeting there, $15 for a Sharwil is really an unbeatable price! Wow. Thanks for sharing and thank you for watching!
@@johnnysworld-backyardorchard I believe in January is when the scion exchange happens also so if you wanted to graft a great variety yourself onto a seedling, it will be very soon. Have a happy thanksgiving!
i live in the neighboring city from this place. everything has always been super overpriced. there are some growers in la habra(going down hacienda trail) that will sell you much cheaper avocado trees
We bought a hass avocado many years ago from a grower in la habra who claimed that hass was founded there.i honestly cant remember the the names but i do remember there were several ranches selling hass, fuertes, gems, and other avocado varieties. nowadays i focus more on citrus and mangoes. in 2020 i bought a gold nugget mandarin tree at gardenview for $75 and it was a twig. i didnt know that armstrong in glendora had 5gal citrus for half that price. even their stonefruit trees at GV are overpriced. it's a huge nursery but i would look at other nurseries in the area for a better deal.
So nice to see what is in the nurseries. Thanks for sharing. In terms of flavor SirPrize & Fuerte are definitely two of my favorites of course are the others.
Thank you for your comment and thank you for watching! I have never tasted either a Fuerte or a Sir Prize yet but hopefully my trees start producing soon and I'll get to try them. Thank you for watching!
That's a worthwhile reminder - that anyone who successfully grows a fruiting tree, has established something worth hundreds of dollars at retail in a 24-inch.
Thanks for sharing Johnny. I'm on the hunt for the newly release BL 516 LUNA 🦃 Happy Thanksgiving
You have the coolest Avocado Trees. I forgot where you said we can get a green gold? Enjoy watching your videos and happy Thanksgiving!

Decent sized avocados for $399 but the $159 ones would be way easier to manage and transport
