There's conflicting stories about what happened to her brother. It's said he died of old age at the Homestead behind the Oakfield Demon Door and possibly buried at the Guild. However it's also stated he could yet still be alive.

I always thought the true story wasn't about the hero you played as, but Theresa. Its interesting because you follow her through a bit of the first game, and then the next two games thinking she's all wise and knows what she's doing. When in reality she didn't and paid the price for it. Fable teaches you that revenge isn't going to work out in the end. Three heros dead and downcredited by Albion all starting because something horrible happened to them. It doesn't matter how good your hero is, their whole journey is based off of revenge. It never works.
Still can't believe Theresa's gone. She was the one character I respected the most. If you think of it, the 'Fable' series is really her story. My best friend and I played 'The Journey' and when Theresa reached the Spire we were thinking 'She made it!' Of course, what happened after left us speechless.
Carmen Grueser: Maize was kinda a traitor, the guildmaster was annoying.....naww man they're 2 different characters, GM's the old dude with the stache and tat on the head, Maize is the tall older guy with metallic face markings.....who befriends the hero in the beginning....
Theresa was shown crying after the events of Fable 2. I think that indicates that all those innocent people remained dead because of her actions. It also indicates that the Hero of Bowerstone, after killing Lucien, chose to bring his sister Rose back instead of resurrecting the others who died because of Lucien and ultimately Theresa's actions.
Something I've always wondered was whether or not she actually 'loved' Sparrow in fable 2. Like, was practically adopting the child and raising it as if it was your own (assumably as we never particularly find that out) all just for her plan to acquire the spire or did she feel genuine remorse for Sparrow and feel as if that was her actual child? Quite sad to think about how Sparrow had their full trust in Theresa and never found out her true intentions really.
It's very possible she felt genuine affection for Sparrow. There are several moments in the game that hint at this. She refers to Sparrow as 'my friend' after the return from the Spire. It's said that if you perform enough expresdions near her, she'll say 'You remind me of someone I once knew long ago.' which may hint that Sparrow reminds her of her brother. When Sparrow is shot on Hero Hill you hear her say 'Death is not your destiny today, Little Sparrow.' This could imply that she never left Sparrow even at that lowest of moments. And even if the player chooses a different Hero Title for Sparrow, Theresa still refers to him/her as 'Little Sparrow', even after Sparrow has grown up. This could be a sign of affection on her part, still seeing the Hero as Little Sparrow even into adulthood.
Up for debate. She was behind lucien going crazy. She may have not killed his family but, she pushed him to build the spire. Remember she is a seer, she knew what would happen to sparrows sister.

I think it's worth noting that canonically her brother did NOT have blond/white hair in the final fight. He may have made the right choices in the end, but they both obviously had a fair bit of darkness in them.
White hair isn’t to do with good or evil, you have white hair in the end because your character is old. So regardless of choices he would have had white hair.
Corn Holio No, if your character is morally good and below the age of 40 he can have blonde hair, white hair happens when he hits 50 and grey when he hits 40

veralidaine97 It's just a running theory that the Hero was still alive. It's never explicitly said that he was dead. Theresa lived for 500+ years, Sycthe even longer.
Well hero of oakvale got the strongest genes of the old blood even stronger than Theresa, so if we should go by logic by all rights he should still be alive. If not, the ending where he wears the jack of blade mask he'd become 100% guaranteed immortal. Only people mistakes him being controlled by JoB when in reality he only gains control momentary, as if you read the logbook after the ending it says Hero of Oakvale gains control both of JoB and his powers. So although it's not confirmed it's highly likely that Hero of Oakvale is immortal, or at the very least a ridiculous high life span like Sycthe.
I feel as though I should write a really good proposal for a separate game, for Theresa. I would really love to play as her and go through the challenges that she's had to face. I think fans like me would enjoy it. But if it's nothing like the first two games I would be highly pissed at them for fucking it up. If they even considered my request
Jordan Marinello Twinblade had abandoned the Guild, but he still possessed the sense of honor that his training had instilled in him. Perhaps this compelled him to help a defenseless child.
I still love Theresa. She is one of my favorite video game characters. Her intentions where good but she was blinded (pun intended) by her pain and anger to rid the world of evil. I am surprised by someone as keen as her, she would've realized that good and evil balance each other out.
In a way, yes. After Jack of Blades, she still wanted answers on why such an evil thing happened to her and her family so she came across the libraries of Samarkand and there she learned about the 1st Spire and the power it could have. This is why she influenced Lucien to rebuild it because he too wanted to build the Spire after learning the knowledge Theresa gave him as well as wanting to bring back his wife and child who died. As she said though, he became evil himself so this goes to show that the death of Rose had to happen in order for Sparrow to get rid of Lucien so Theresa could have control again on the Spires reconstruction and ownership. However, only AFTER it was rebuilt did she learn the truth of how the Corruption came to Albion before during the 1st Spire because if you remember in Fable 2 on the See The Future DLC, she told Sparrow that the Spire had a gift for her - to see all possible futures and glimpses into the past. I assume had she known the 2nd Spire would bring back the Corruption she wouldn't have wanted it rebuilt. Lesson to learn here... just don't build Spires because apparently that rips the fabric between the world of Albion and the Void lol. Crazy to think how 1 character from a series/story of a game had such a major impact on the settings and heroes we played. I def would not call her evil. She is good, but corrupt, not pure. Proof is seeing what twisted shit she was responsible for yet had her good reasons at the same time. My verdict though on this ending is she vanished the Corruption back into the Void, passed her powers onto Gabriel, and the power of that wish was so great, it too exploded the Spire in which she most likely died since she said her time is over. BUT, some part of me wants to think she lives on elsewhere.
Jack of Blades was THE best antagonist of the entire franchise, and they made him here a mere bandit who got slain on some field? Without even mentioning the hero of oakville? WTF
I've played Fable all my life, and I never knew that Theresa ended up dying after Fable II. That explains why she always appeared as kind of an apparition and never a physical person in a real body in Fable III.
Yeah she was just super powerful in the will aspect, after 3 she lost her ties to prophecy and some if not all of her will power due to getting hit by the corruptor i think that's why she couldn't have called on the hero of fable 3 to save her ass
Ok the Spire being destroyed by 3 heroes using will energy is an ok concept. But the Corruptor and the void is a direct reference to the Dark Tower series which the tower is somewhat based on. But what I don’t get it, what was her wish. To give her power and knowledge of the spite to Gabriel at the cost of his sight? This way someone pure of heart, a hero not born but made and knowing not to restore the spire is her wish. To make up for manipulating events that ultimately brought evil into the world?
Wait, so did she kill Fairfax's wife and child? Just to make the Hero of Bowerstone suffer through like thirty years just so she could get to the spire? And then have Fairfax enslave and kill all of those people just to build the spire? The ends sure as hell didn't justify the means, Theresa.
Geronimo there won't be a Fable if it wasn't for Molyneux. Like it or not, he is very passionate about video games and he is a extremely creative individual but his biggest flaw is his mouth, which tends to be bigger than his budget.
Wait, so i have never played fable journey. But i think its in a separate timeline, cause "the darkness" was already killed at the cost of x number of citizens and sir Walter. Theresa never stated the events in fable 3 but did for fable 2. So this leads me to believe it is in a different universe (a parallel universe)
The Crawler was one of the Corruptor's three lieutenants. When the last Archon of the Old Kingdom activated the Spire, it created a rift between Albion and the Void and the Corruptor sent the Crawler through this rift to attack Albion. The three ancient Heroes managed to seal the Crawler in the Shadelight Temple in Aurora, where it lay dormant until the Spire was reactivated at the end of 'Fable 2' when the Hero of Bowerstone made their wish. By the time of 'Fable 3' the Crawler had gathered enough strength to finally attack Albion.
I mean, I love fable. But after the first one the story took a sharp nose dive into the toilet. Peter was so caught up in being "revolutionary" that he forgot to make sure the story was any good. Just my opinion.
Allen Hannigan fable 2 was nice not as great as fable 1 but it was pretty good i played the first 2 games and the first game has a stronger hero and more other heroes that can help you but the second game has a Dog
Eagledx 69 wrong the hero of oakville wich is the hero of fable 1 is the strongest hero to ever exist and Theresa is the strongest mage the hero of fable 2 is one of the best but would certainly lose to fable 1s hero
The most iconic character in Fable is Theresa. I really didn't like or approve of the Outcome in Fable:Journey. I really hope that Theresa returns in a future FABLE game by the new franchise owner: Playground studios. There's allot of high hopes riding on the new FABLE series. And hopefully Theresa's comeback will be part of what Playground Studios retains from the Original Series.
To every fable lover tbh I want a fable 4.....sadly they have closed lion head studios how ever if I were to make a fable 4 I would want it to explain wht HAPPEND to a lot of people I mean like the games never show the main character die and yet there was a fable 2 but I understand y they made a fable 2 because at the end of fable the last chapter and fable anniversary the guild master says "But that's a story for another time "wht does it mean by that and than in the very first fable games character disappear and than reappear and than disappear like I would love to know wht they did in this time that they were gone and tbh the name fable 4 sounds lame it has to be a game to end the fable series they got to come up with a good sounding name because tbh fable legends sucks and fable journey makes Teresa a lot younger than wht she looked like in fable 2&3 well that's all I wanted to say 😂😂😉
I would like to see a game between the first and second game. Theres were about 600 years between the two and so much must have happened from the destruction of the heros guild and such, I wanna see how the hero of oakvale's bloodline survived.
Moises Ramos Microsoft recently bought the IPO fable and I think player grounds I think that's the name of the company that makes for terrorizing or something they might make the next Fable game most likely
ME EITHER! I've only played Fable II and Fable III and I'm PISSED to hear that she was the reason Rose died YOU KILLED MY SISTER YOU STUPID SEER! GRRRRR
Federal agent Holton 50 years after Fable 3 and 100 years after Fable 2. There's a slight time disparity concerning Fable 1.( The timeline says F2 happened 500 years after F1, however in F2 Theresa says 600 years.)
The good choice was considered cannon, as in 'Fable 2' the mural of the Hero's victory depicts the Hero wearing the yellow(good choice) cape. It's also stated in the Wiki that it's believed no one would kill their own family member simply to claim a sword.
How old is she? Because they said it's more than 100 years between 1st and 2nd. In canon is she actually dead? I've played 1 and didn't get to play 2 but I did watch my older brother play it.
Fable is 500 years before fable 2 then fable 3 is 50 years in the future from the second. And guessing fable the journey must be a few years in the future. So maybe like 600 to 700 years old
can someone update me about what I need to know and what happen in fable 2 & 3 and the rest of the fable series? I only played Fable: The lost chapters
Wait....all this, and they still never explained how she lived so long?? Why was she immortal?? Also.... holy crud was her mind perverse o.o She seemed a bit creepy in the games, especially Fable 2, and I always wondered about potential ill intent. But jeez, knowing now how sick she was, and what all she had caused, makes me wish I'd just taken the Sword of Aeons. Time to replay Fable 1 and make things right. Because that's how time travel works, right? But wait, that's a bad result either way. Why couldn't we kill her AND destroy they sword? XD
Theresa’s story kinda sounds like how the hero’s story was when his family was killed. The father was killed, the mother and daughter were taken and then the daughter was blind and was wondering off in the forest. I’m starting to think she’s the sister of the hero for some reason or it’s just me 🤔
It sounds like the hero's story because that's her telling her side of what happened after the attack started and she told the her brother to hide. And goes on from there and how after Fable 1 she manipulated everything that happened in Fable 2 and tried to help right her wrongs in Fable 3 and leading up to her death here
It's from fable: the journey, it's the fourth game they released, it's set in the same universe but is sort of separate and really different to the other fable games in terms of game play, the story is the best part as the gameplay is terribly boring tbh
I saw a comment above that theorizes that the HoO dragged JoB body to show all of albion that JoB is no more. That just seems pretty badass so I’m using that as my head canon now lol.
It actually does). Why didn't she share her knowledge about upcoming evil with the whole Albion, and not just with some brat arsehole of a king with pubes for hair and shit for brains (fable 3). Not to mention she quit on her brother in the battle with Jack the dragon "ah i will go places instead of assisting him, nevermind he saved my life twice at least...."
I never beat the game so i watched the game play, then i see her die and i cried like a baby for a second, after that i got up and threw away my copy of the game.
Not gonna lie. This is disappointing. I never had a kinect and never played the Journey but I peripherally knew the story. I thought Theresa knew about the Corruptor and the Darkness before the events of Fable 2 and I thought she engineered the construction of the Spire in order to destroy it, which I always thought was cool and kinda savage because she set up tyrants and destroyed them all to gear up for a big battle but apparently no. She built the spire because she was short-sighted and naive and then had to sacrifice herself to undo her own mistake. Suddenly all of Fable 2 feels like a mistake and it was my favorite of the 3

Dark-Storm Gaming Tbh fable Wikipedia didn't even give a valid fact or reasonable valid theory why he's dead.
I feel as though I should write a really good proposal for a separate game, for Theresa. I would really love to play as her and go through the challenges that she's had to face. I think fans like me would enjoy it. But if it's nothing like the first two games I would be highly pissed at them for fucking it up.
If they even considered my request
Miia H. but she is blind u wouldn't be able to see anything
that would be a bit dark for fable what reason would twinblade have for keeping a young blind girl in his service before her powers developed
Jordan Marinello Twinblade had abandoned the Guild, but he still possessed the sense of honor that his training had instilled in him. Perhaps this compelled him to help a defenseless child.
@@rugbyolive Well you would be playing in first person.
Goodbye Theresa may you finally be reunited with your Father, your brother or became a legend and Scarlet rest in peace
I still love Theresa. She is one of my favorite video game characters. Her intentions where good but she was blinded (pun intended) by her pain and anger to rid the world of evil. I am surprised by someone as keen as her, she would've realized that good and evil balance each other out.
They should make her story as a game.
Daniel Godfrey Movie! This sounds quite interesting if presented well.
They made it 4
So after Fable 1, it was all Teresa's fault?
@@BradWoodburn I also think she does these things because she has what's best for Albion in the long run on her mind.
Fable is so good. It's my favorite.
Quick fire lighting at the hole
Jack of Blades was THE best antagonist of the entire franchise, and they made him here a mere bandit who got slain on some field? Without even mentioning the hero of oakville? WTF
I've played Fable all my life, and I never knew that Theresa ended up dying after Fable II. That explains why she always appeared as kind of an apparition and never a physical person in a real body in Fable III.
It's not happening after Fable 2 but after Fable 3
Yeah she was just super powerful in the will aspect, after 3 she lost her ties to prophecy and some if not all of her will power due to getting hit by the corruptor i think that's why she couldn't have called on the hero of fable 3 to save her ass
*feeling tired or sore? Take a break*
*your* *not* *you* *when* *your* *hungry.*
And this brings us to Fable 3. Now it all makes sense.
I love how every game the lady who voices Theresa shes an old woman who influences you
Ok the Spire being destroyed by 3 heroes using will energy is an ok concept.
What is this from? Fable Anniversary DLC?
Awesome! Though the story makes it seem like she beat Jack of Blades
I hear there are rumors of Fable IV. Perhaps Gabriel will be our new guide in the new chapter. R.I.P Theresa.
Lol ... Xbox Achievement "Tired or Sore? Take a Break!" Right as she was laying down sleeping 0:39
Wait, so did she kill Fairfax's wife and child? Just to make the Hero of Bowerstone suffer through like thirty years just so she could get to the spire?
And then have Fairfax enslave and kill all of those people just to build the spire? The ends sure as hell didn't justify the means, Theresa.
and this is how then ended Fable? On a shit Kinect game?
What an evil, sadistic bitch. Makes me question what good has she done in fable lol. She a manipulator for her own personal agenda.
If a Fable 4 gets worked on, let's just hope Peter "Revolutionary" Molyneux won't be involved.
Geronimo there won't be a Fable if it wasn't for Molyneux. Like it or not, he is very passionate about video games and he is a extremely creative individual but his biggest flaw is his mouth, which tends to be bigger than his budget.
Yeah, you're right. Should've probably worded that all he needs to do is shut his yap and just work on the game.
Geronimo I wanna see one where you play as archon( sythe) fighting the court in the old kingdom
It wont feel like Fable without him thö....
LucidLucario it's 2 difrent darknesses
LucidLucario The Creeper was a minion of the Corruption.
Wrong. The crawler was not stopped. Only slowed
To everyone wondering, this was that weird Xbox Kinect game I think was called Fable Journey.
The dog made the game a lot better tbh i felt lonely in the first game but the second was much fun cuz of that little fella
Noah 11677 r u serious??? U put fable 3 higher than fable 2?
Eagledx 69 wrong the hero of oakville wich is the hero of fable 1 is the strongest hero to ever exist and Theresa is the strongest mage the hero of fable 2 is one of the best but would certainly lose to fable 1s hero
ColdFire i think fable 2 was a bit too quick and easy. Story was goo thoigh yeah
Fable 1 will always be the best fable and the only good fable.
agree
I agree that the first _Fable_ was the best, but I wouldn't say the only good one. _Fable 2_ was also good.
TheFableGamer They were all good. I actually prefer 3.
2 is my favorite followed by 1. I liked 3 as well. It had some good ideas but just not executed as well.
TheFableGamer nope
and where can you get it now
The most iconic character in Fable is Theresa.
Do one for Reaver
My question is, is how the hell is Theresa still alive?
Moises Ramos so there's no chance of fable 2 coming to pc
Moises Ramos Microsoft recently bought the IPO fable and I think player grounds I think that's the name of the company that makes for terrorizing or something they might make the next Fable game most likely
You can expect one around 2020 I think. They say 2019 but you know how they usually push release dates back rather than on time or earlier lmao.
Bruh I’m late I just got into the series and i never knew that 😭😭
I never knew any of this. God damnit Theresa!
ME EITHER!
I've only played Fable II and Fable III and I'm PISSED to hear that she was the reason Rose died
YOU KILLED MY SISTER YOU STUPID SEER!
GRRRRR
Khloe G Nah, it was Lucien's grief that killed Rose
Isn't this on the Kinect? Is it a motion controlled game? Or can you opt to play with a classic controller?
Davey Bowen I don't think so
That's a shame :(
Davey Bowen I don't really know which game this is but if it's fable the journey yeah it's Kinect
Was this supposed to be fable 4?
What about what was going on during fable 3??????
How was Thersa immortal but not her brother?
Which fable is this
which fable is that
Funny how Theresa caused more deaths than Jack of Blades, the most evil and hated fable character in the series
Even funnier that many people don't realize it... Mostly because they never played The lost Chapters
At the end of fable the journey, did they kill the corruptor or they just stopped him ?
How long after Fable 1,2 and 3 is this suppose to be?
Federal agent Holton 50 years after Fable 3 and 100 years after Fable 2. There's a slight time disparity concerning Fable 1.( The timeline says F2 happened 500 years after F1, however in F2 Theresa says 600 years.)
Which fable is this?
What is this from?
But, but I killed Theresa after defending Jack of Blades... so how was she even around after Fable 1?????
That Choice isn´t cannon
Which is bullshit
The good choice was considered cannon, as in 'Fable 2' the mural of the Hero's victory depicts the Hero wearing the yellow(good choice) cape. It's also stated in the Wiki that it's believed no one would kill their own family member simply to claim a sword.
Is this fable 1 or 2
god i missed the fable series, but at least there's a new fable game coming soon, let's hope it'll be as good.
Which game is this?
How old is she? Because they said it's more than 100 years between 1st and 2nd. In canon is she actually dead? I've played 1 and didn't get to play 2 but I did watch my older brother play it.
Fable is 500 years before fable 2 then fable 3 is 50 years in the future from the second. And guessing fable the journey must be a few years in the future. So maybe like 600 to 700 years old
can someone update me about what I need to know and what happen in fable 2 & 3 and the rest of the fable series? I only played Fable: The lost chapters
what fable is this?
Wait....all this, and they still never explained how she lived so long?? Why was she immortal?? Also.... holy crud was her mind perverse o.o She seemed a bit creepy in the games, especially Fable 2, and I always wondered about potential ill intent. But jeez, knowing now how sick she was, and what all she had caused, makes me wish I'd just taken the Sword of Aeons. Time to replay Fable 1 and make things right. Because that's how time travel works, right? But wait, that's a bad result either way. Why couldn't we kill her AND destroy they sword? XD
A.D. Sifford i'd keep the sword for myself. Ain't no way it might come back some how and be in someone else's possession.
I'd like to know what happenned to Theresa's brother after having killed Jack of Blades
What game is this and when does the game take place ?
where is this scene from
Theresa’s story kinda sounds like how the hero’s story was when his family was killed.
And goes on from there and how after Fable 1 she manipulated everything that happened in Fable 2 and tried to help right her wrongs in Fable 3 and leading up to her death here
4:25 There's us from Fable 2
Her voice reminds me of Kreia's from Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2.
Tenebris Folf love both the star wars games
That's because it is
This is from fable 3?
It's from fable: the journey, it's the fourth game they released, it's set in the same universe but is sort of separate and really different to the other fable games in terms of game play, the story is the best part as the gameplay is terribly boring tbh
One of the best games ever
Was this Fable Legends?
Is anyone gonna talk about how the Xbox notification gave a “take a break” notification. Just to tell the user that during the cutscene 💀?
Wait she must be atleast 700 years old , jesus
She caused roses death so I'm glad she gets justice for her deeds
What is this even from
theresa so beautiful sucks that she never had any kids of her own beautiful lady
your brother is the true hero
I love Theresa.
Why was Jack's body in a field like that? Did they just decide the Hero of Oakvale deserves no credit?
The Dark Lord Eugene Krabs yeah that was loads of ass
Its called time
I saw a comment above that theorizes that the HoO dragged JoB body to show all of albion that JoB is no more. That just seems pretty badass so I’m using that as my head canon now lol.
Wait a minute... Doesn't that make the evil ending in fable 1 actually the good ending?!
No. Because remember. Jack is a servant of the crawler. If the HoO becomes Jack, the crawler will overrun Albion
I played the first fable when I was 5 now I’m 15 sjsjsjsj I’m getting old
Carmen Grueser i played that when I was around 8 it was actually the first game I had played on the original xbox, and now I'm turning 21. Time flies.
Kreia?
I never beat the game so i watched the game play, then i see her die and i cried like a baby for a second, after that i got up and threw away my copy of the game.
"till then...I'll be watching" ( epic music outro ) - Gabriel
You BEAT THE GAME
Not gonna lie. This is disappointing. I never had a kinect and never played the Journey but I peripherally knew the story. I thought Theresa knew about the Corruptor and the Darkness before the events of Fable 2 and I thought she engineered the construction of the Spire in order to destroy it, which I always thought was cool and kinda savage because she set up tyrants and destroyed them all to gear up for a big battle but apparently no. She built the spire because she was short-sighted and naive and then had to sacrifice herself to undo her own mistake. Suddenly all of Fable 2 feels like a mistake and it was my favorite of the 3
What fable game is this from? I only plated fable 2 and 3 so I'm a bit confused with the story
Fable: The Journey
but wen is it coming to Xbox 360???
What game is this
I believe it's the Kinect game, _Fable: The Journey_.
did he become theresa or did the spire just give him that power
+Jay Kay the spire gave him theresa's power
+NeedleMouse Productions ohh i didnt know that thanks
0:47 That's us from fable 1
what game is this???
Fable the Journey
The story is complete now
Why didnt she ever die again?
I never play fable 2 the same again
Since no one bought this, does that mean it’s not cannon? I hope so.
She sounds like kreia.
