I don't know how you could hate these videos. Brand and Ron work well together for a good laugh and they catch good fish. I'm a big bass fisher so it's learned a lot watching this channel. I don't get to beach fish or from boat. I'm a good hour away from the beach. But when i do get to im gonna use what I've learned from watching them

I came here to learn more about saltwater fishing. I grew up freshwater fishing bass and trout. The humor you added recently has convinced me to subscribe. You guys are all characters!
I originally subbed Bama and then when you two started fishing together I subbed you as well as Ron. I instantly saw the connection the three of you had in the small maybe snide funny comments made. I for one expect a little humor even if it is just a serious competitive fishing video, that is fun! For you kids to have come up with the new team and what I expect will be so funny is GREAT! The heck with the poopers of the new fun content. I live in the Ham, Birmingham that is and sad that me and my Buddy from California missed our chance to get a chance to fish with Bama, we had a date set but covid hit and beaches closed. I fished at Sunnyside beach for years, even had a $500 drone to fish with, but found from you guys I was doing EVERYTHING wrong. Did not matter to me, I was alone on a private beach in the water alone and was at peace. We sold the house and not gone to the Gulf in over 2 years now. Thanks for showing me what I need to do if I ever go back to fish. All you guys videos are fun, informative and just plain fun to watch and I thank you for that. It helps me relax from a long day of work.
Catching fish is just a bonus for your viewers. The comradeship that is displayed by you , Ron ,Matt and Yak is what I look for. Love the content on here. This takes me back to several years ago when I used to fish all the time with my close friends. I don’t get to go much at all anymore because , well life gets in the way. But watching this and the other guys channel gives me a little taste of that. Especially the other content videos doing some of the same things we did growing up along the coast here. Keep evolving Brant, the new dynamic gives some comedic relief to the serious fishing. I wouldn't mind seeing more cast netting in the videos, especially since Ron doesn't know how to throw. Maybe do some bait catching video and teaching Ron a new skill! Get beach bum involved too.

Love it! Don't change a thing. Fun to watch you work that hard to catch a fish. Most of us that have done any amount of fishing have been in similar situations. I've usually given up...next time I'll keep "plugging" along to see if it pays off like it did for you. It's fine to explain to the haters, but don't let it get y'all down!
One of the reasons I watch this channel is because you guys are doing something fresh and new. The fishing is amazing, but the way you guys support each other is needed in today’s society. I have learned so much from this channel about fishing, keep it up!

Brant-your dogged pursuit and success in landing that red is a huge and powerful testament to the angler you are-skilled, knowledgeable, persistent, and committed to improving and contributing to the fisheries and brotherhood of anglers wherever you can. Each of you have a unique “it” factor for me-except for Eugene but that’s alright he’s humorous at times-and that is why I constantly check your channels to watch new episodes. You can’t be all things to all people or anglers. My take is that the negative feedback you’re receiving is likely from individuals who love catching fish but don’t/haven’t come to enjoy fishing which is not always catching. I’m guessing there are channels that cater to such individuals and usually combine multiple days on the water and portray them as a single day. Please, please, please continue doing what you have been doing so far-it’s well made, entertaining, educational, and extremely positive. Keep up the great job y’all have been doing and don’t forget to say “Waffles”-I don’t want you to have to try to down any more of those cheese balls from hell, aka the “hottest balls you’ll ever put in your mouth.” Tight lines!

I’m one of those people that never really fished until I started watching this channel. I mean I like to fish but the last time I can remember fishing was in middle school. I’m much older now and just started back fishing about two months ago and let me tell you that I can’t stop thinking about rods, reels, and reeling in my next fish. I’m going on vacation to Florida in October and I’m actually going to fish in the ocean. I’m from Kentucky so Im a little nervous about fishing in the ocean but it’s something I want to do. Maybe come help me catch a giant lol? Brant, Im not lying, this channel has helped me find something I really enjoy and that’s fishing. I thank you for the content you put out and you keep doing you. We've been landlocked since we got married 43 yrs ago and i sincerely miss fishing for big fla fish! You take me back to a place i have wonderful memories of. Keep at it. ❤

I grew up on those canals in gulf breeze and have since moved away. I had watched several of your vids before I even realized you were fishing in Pensacola. Hadn’t picked up a rod in 5 years, but can honestly say you inspired me to start fishing again. Went home for blue angles and caught specs and reds just in the canal. My girlfriend caught the first fish of her life. Inspiring a kid (or adult) to fish isnt a hypothetical, you are doin it Brant. Hope we run into yall out there sometime!

Brant - referring to your talk at the end of the video: don't apologize, you're 100% on target. It seems off topic, but two of the best shows I ever saw was Talking Heads & Elvis Costello and the Attractions in '81 thru, say '83. And that's because they didn't do what was expected, i.e., they didn't come out and do carbon paper copies of their recorded arrangements, just the hits, and call it a night. *They kept things interesting and fresh for themselves.* And the bands having fun onstage generated a high energy level. The crowd picked up on that energy and just hyped the performers, who hyped the crowd who hyped ... by the end of the two different tours I saw of each band everyone walked out drained. The point is that as an entertainer, or in your case, content provider, if you start generating videos to tic off boxes for what viewers "think they want" I'm pretty sure you'll be out of the TH-cam biz before too long. Eventually, you'll be banging out soulless, uninspired, paint-by-numbers drek. And your audience will pick up on uninspired. They can taste bored. They will *be* bored. When I was in art school, more than one instructor told me that you can't create to an audience. You have to paint to entertain yourself. And if you're any good, your audience will find you. So make the videos that make you happy. That make you laugh. That you enjoy planning, shooting, editing. Videos that give off a palpable energy that an audience can feed on. The same way Elvis and the Heads generated an energy by making noise that made them happy. And hey - if some people bitch and moan that you're doing something besides "just fishing" - oh well. Maybe this ain't the channel for them. Make your channel and your life fun for you, just like you have been and I'm sure those numbers are gonna continue to grow. Just like they have been. Love it! Don't change a thing. Fun to watch you work that hard to catch a fish. Most of us that have done any amount of fishing have been in similar situations. I've usually given up...next time I'll keep "plugging" along to see if it pays off like it did for you. It's fine to explain to the haters, but don't let it get y'all down!
One of the reasons I watch this channel is because you guys are doing something fresh and new. The fishing is amazing, but the way you guys support each other is needed in today’s society. I have learned so much from this channel about fishing, keep it up!

Brant-your dogged pursuit and success in landing that red is a huge and powerful testament to the angler you are-skilled, knowledgeable, persistent, and committed to improving and contributing to the fisheries and brotherhood of anglers wherever you can. Each of you have a unique “it” factor for me-except for Eugene but that’s alright he’s humorous at times-and that is why I constantly check your channels to watch new episodes. You can’t be all things to all people or anglers. My take is that the negative feedback you’re receiving is likely from individuals who love catching fish but don’t/haven’t come to enjoy fishing which is not always catching. I’m guessing there are channels that cater to such individuals and usually combine multiple days on the water and portray them as a single day. Please, please, please continue doing what you have been doing so far-it’s well made, entertaining, educational, and extremely positive. Keep up the great job y’all have been doing and don’t forget to say “Waffles”-I don’t want you to have to try to down any more of those cheese balls from hell, aka the “hottest balls you’ll ever put in your mouth.” Tight lines!
You guys have a great thing going on man! I love watching the different type of fish you catch that I don't see in the state of Missouri . The friendship you guys show on the videos is awesome to me. I've actually learned the different types of fishing and salt water fishing terms. We like to vacation in the Fort Morgan area so I can't wait to put what I've learned through your guy's channels to the test when we head for the gulf! I’m one of those people that never really fished until I started watching this channel. I mean I like to fish but the last time I can remember fishing was in middle school. I’m much older now and just started back fishing about two months ago and let me tell you that I can’t stop thinking about rods, reels, and reeling in my next fish. I’m going on vacation to Florida in October and I’m actually going to fish in the ocean. I’m from Kentucky so Im a little nervous about fishing in the ocean but it’s something I want to do. Maybe come help me catch a giant lol? Brant, Im not lying, this channel has helped me find something I really enjoy and that’s fishing. I thank you for the content you put out and you keep doing you. Who cares what other people think as long as your happy. Your vids are awesome!!!

Great to see the struggle is real some days! I love all the content you put out! Keep it up the reason I watch your content is you mix it up. It’s not the same founder or kayak story every time. Brant, keep doin what you're doin. You guys are doing great with your own channels plus the collaborations on "Clickbaiterz and Masterbaiterz". Seriously, some people can only be happy when they are disgruntled, or putting somebody down, or just being unkind to someone. Forget those people. They are in the minority. I'm subscribed to about 30 fishing related channels and you 3 guys are the ones I look forward to the most.

I love what you do! My husb and i watch all your videos. (You, beach bum and bearded brad!) I grew up on the gulf coast of fla and have fished for many of these fish with my dad and grandpa! We've been landlocked since we got married 43 yrs ago and i sincerely miss fishing for big fla fish! You take me back to a place i have wonderful memories of. Keep at it. ❤

I grew up on those canals in gulf breeze and have since moved away. I had watched several of your vids before I even realized you were fishing in Pensacola. Hadn’t picked up a rod in 5 years, but can honestly say you inspired me to start fishing again. Went home for blue angles and caught specs and reds just in the canal. My girlfriend caught the first fish of her life. Inspiring a kid (or adult) to fish isnt a hypothetical, you are doin it Brant. Hope we run into yall out there sometime!

It seems off topic, but two of the best shows I ever saw was Talking Heads & Elvis Costello and the Attractions in '81 thru, say '83. And that's because they didn't do what was expected, i.e., they didn't come out and do carbon paper copies of their recorded arrangements, just the hits, and call it a night.
*They kept things interesting and fresh for themselves.* And the bands having fun onstage generated a high energy level. The crowd picked up on that energy and just hyped the performers, who hyped the crowd who hyped ... by the end of the two different tours I saw of each band everyone walked out drained.
The point is that as an entertainer, or in your case, content provider, if you start generating videos to tic off boxes for what viewers "think they want" I'm pretty sure you'll be out of the TH-cam biz before too long. Eventually, you'll be banging out soulless, uninspired, paint-by-numbers drek. And your audience will pick up on uninspired. They can taste bored. They will *be* bored.
When I was in art school, more than one instructor told me that you can't create to an audience. You have to paint to entertain yourself. And if you're any good, your audience will find you.
So make the videos that make you happy. That make you laugh. That you enjoy planning, shooting, editing. Videos that give off a palpable energy that an audience can feed on. The same way Elvis and the Heads generated an energy by making noise that made them happy.
And hey - if some people bitch and moan that you're doing something besides "just fishing" - oh well. Maybe this ain't the channel for them.
Make your channel and your life fun for you, just like you have been and I'm sure those numbers are gonna continue to grow. Just like they have been.
