Great video Brant what a gorgeous place to go fishing in that cabin I could have lived there for the rest of my life and been happy that was one nice bass you caught there nothing like getting back to the roots of your fishing👍
I've honestly been watching you since 2014-15 and that was the biggest freshwater bass I've ever seen you catch. My favorite story is the Alabama roll tide story!
Congrats on that toad Brant. Love the sweet water vids too. I’m big into both so everything that you put on your channel is gold. And if I had to guess, that fish looked like a solid “8”. Maybe bigger. A lot of time on these “private” lakes, artificials do just as good, if not better then the live stuff. Great work. Beautiful location. Would love to spend a week there, 👍🏻
Love that kind of fishing Brant. I grew up freshwater fishing here in south Alabama. It's more laid back than saltwater angling. Though I fished in bass clubs for years and fished tournaments often. Fished Miller's Ferry often and had good trips there several times a year. Caught one of my largest bass in a tournament there year's ago. Great video.
Great video Brant....I do a ton of live bluegill and shiner fishing and for some reason I only have success with them really early in the morning or from 30 mins before sunset...then it's almost instant bites. I know you've fished live bait for bass a ton too and maybe you've had different experiences but for me here in Texas...live bait only works good for bass during those two tines.
Super cool. I'm freshwater 99 percent of the time. I enjoyed seeing you hook up in freshwater. I am curious if you ever did any videos on tarpon or catching bones in the flats. Its one those bucket list items for me.
Hey Brant this video inspired me to go out and bass fish and I caught the third biggest one of my life! Thanks and congrats! I think that is about a 8-10lb
Fast growing and very aggressive, Tiger bass are an F1 hybrid of Florida and Northern strain bass. TH-camr Bamabass built and stocked a 5 acre pond with those Tiger bass, and has documented the whole thing. Congrats on the big bass!
I was on Pensacola Beach the morning of my brother's memorial. I grew up on Johnson beach in the 60's. I pulled up one of BBB's videos I remember that this got just as excited as I did as a kid 7 years old i fell in line with this young man. Soon discovered Angle up with Brant. What excitement they shared . Ron became their CAMERAMAN he didn't fish but he got HOOKED . These guys were like brothers. Along came Bearded Brad the intern. Things changed for these fisherman. Matt started Bama Beach Bum Outdoors . Brant was a Cert. Boat Captain and is a realtor. Bearded Brad bought a storage building in Foley and sales everything fishing on line. There was a riff these young men came upon a change to invest their money. Cameraman Ron had his channel and enjoyed doing his own thing a broader vision of content he wanted to produce . His wife Sarah " PYT" started her channel Coastal country. Ron got sick last September and he never recovered. I was 💔 enjoyed his video and the crazy little things these guys shared for all of us. Im a great fan of Chesse Balls but never a banana on the fishing boat. RIP CAMERAMAN RON YOU ARE REMEMBERED BY MANY PEOPLE WANT A TREASURE WHAT A MAN
Great big Ole jug mouth. Had no idea you fished on the Alabama River. I live about 5 miles from it. But really love fishing in Beach Bums neck of the woods on the Coosa River.
This is a lot closer to the type of fishing I typically do. Ton of fun catching small to medium size bass in a private farm pond. Also you caught a freshwater monster there...
What a wonderful bass! By the way, I will be down in April to give your combo I picked up last September a first try. Lets hope the beach fishing picks up before then! fingers crossed. Thanks for the videos,
back in the 90s my buddy and I bass fished a series of ponds near his hunt camp in Alabama and I was throwing a Shakespeare ultra light with 4 lb just to spice it up and I thought I snagged the bottom but then my line started slowly moving along sideways. once it realized it was hooked it jumped and spit the plastic shad in the most cinematic and slo mo way possible. it was a bass easily above 10lbs. my friend saw it and we both lost our minds lol, it could have fit a kids size basketball in its mouth. we still talk about that bass to this day
Miller's ferry in Camden Alabama I'm about a hour to a hour and a half from there and it is mega fishing there bream bass all kinds of different catfish crappie its a small lake Guntersville the fishing there is unbelievable like that huge bass you caught would love to known the weight of it maybe you need to buy another scale lol
Solid fish man! I’ve always been a saltwater guy but I started bass fishing last year and I’m fully addicted!! I’ve caught two 9.4s and a 9.3 those are my three biggest so far. Couple 6s and 7s few 4s and 5s and a thousand 1 and 2 pounders lol. I’m sure I’ll get back out on the saltwater eventually but for now I’m chasing that double digit big mouth😂😂😂
Awesome Video man. Loving watching your videos. Is this place available to rent for a weekend? Looks like a good place for a couple buddies to have a great Bass catching weekend. Great stuff!

Nice fish Brant! I caught a 10 lb bass in a private farm pond about 15 years ago and I think the one you caught was about 10 -12 lbs!
Hey Brant this video inspired me to go out and bass fish and I caught the third biggest one of my life! Thanks and congrats! I think that is about a 8-10lb
Your Dad sounds like a Kool Dude!

the feeling when you get your lure unstuck is amazing
Beautiful bass. A lot bigger than any I've ever caught!
Big Bass!
I love that "clackety-clack" sound their gill plates make when they breach and shake their head!
This is a lot closer to the type of fishing I typically do. Ton of fun catching small to medium size bass in a private farm pond.
Also you caught a freshwater monster there...
Man, That is a Monster of a Fish!
You are turning into quote the bass fisherman. You even have the Jimmy Houston cackle laugh when you catch one.
Brant, this time of year in a pond when they're sitting in the middle, try a small perch colored spinner bait and my favorite a baby one minus.
That place is epic! Reminds me of Spring lake in DeFuniak.
Congrats
Nothing better than fishing private ponds loaded with stocked largemouth bass. They will hit every cast, and it is a blast!
Sure am missing cameraman Ron right now. This is his kind of fishing
Tirger bass are a hybrid cross between a northern strain and Florida strain ...

this place reminds me of a property I was thinking about purchasing. I just need to save another $15million or so.
Nice bass… it was a tank!
I can hear Banjos playing from here. 😂
As long as you dont hear any Piggy Squealing ....you should be safe from the the banjo picking locals....
