  • Growing organs in the Lab - Find out how scientists are making human organs in the lab from stem cells. While we can't grow fully functional human organs yet, they can grow organoids from stem cells to study organ development and 3D bioprint tissues that can one day be used to repair organs.

    It's so fun what internet can do nowadays. I read some of the comments below and it kind of blew my mind how your videos (well, education in general) help people around the world to learn in a different way. I myself have just watched a video of yours on PCR and qPCR, I'm a 18 y.o. Brazilian applying for med school. I believe the process is rather different than in the UK, as I only need to take 1 general knowledge and 1 specific knowledge exams in order to study for free here. Of course it isn't as easy as it sounds, but taking that I've got to study Biology to pass both of them, your videos have been a blessing in terms of Biotech education.

    I’m allllll for this study !!!!! This is what we need . I believed a human body is like car you have to figure out how to grow them and multiply them . As you get older things in you start to fall off and it just nicer if we can take our cells and grow them … I wish they can come out with this faster 😢 and affordable to everyone

    Any urethral stricture deaseas treatment

    • @ClevaLab
      @ClevaLab  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your comment. 🤓 There is some research on treatments for urethral stricture disease using stem cells and tissue engineering. Most of these are still being tested in animal models, but there has been testing of engineered tissue in one pilot study with 6 male patients. You can find a review of treatments here (2020): www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7202089/.

      Thanks for your comment. 🤓 Depending on the part your interested in you could do a Biology or Medical Science degree. You could also look at a Biomedical Engineering degree if your interested 3D Biopriniting.
