I had a manufacturer hitch installed on my 2021 Crosstrek, and later found out that they had taken out some bumper support to do so, so the bumper plastic bent in if pressure was applied. I now have a different 2021 Crosstrek and was told to check out Uhaul ones, since they are less expensive than if I went to Subaru. It doesn't look like you need to remove any bumper support, so good job on the design, lol. Also, a 2" hitch instead of 1 1/4" or whatever they gave me that can be so difficult to find things for.
No, but you may need to turn off any safety features if they make a constant audible sound or cause the vehicle to stop itself while you have trailers or accessories on your hitch.
This looks like a giant pain in the a$$. Thank you for saving me hours of frustration. I'll let U-Haul do it.
U-Haul has you covered!

This is my preferred hitch for this vehicle! Glad it is helpful!
Does the eyesight sensors or back sensors for reverse need to be recalibrated after an install/using a trailer or bike rack?

But where do I plug in the trailer lights?
