I would love to know how much this cost to complete! It's so gorgeous! I've been wanting to do this for my business and this gave me the bug for sure lol
I bet this was probably minimum $100,000 but seeing she did some of the work herself, $85,000.. custom built shed, windows, electrical, insulation, nails, plywood, rental of tools, paint, joint compound, etc... she did a great job!
Taylor true and great points, especially when it comes to location, contractors cost and so on but some people think it’s inexpensive when in reality it isn’t even if they’re DIY-ers.
L Jay you’d be surprised but why would anyone want to build a shed if you’re only renting? I must’ve missed that part. The things I considered are the steps she had to take in order to prepare for this build. The cost for gravel and bobcats to level out the spot, did she need permits, the cost to deliver the shed, the size... was it prefabricated or did she design the unit? Running electrical units... Everything adds up and by the end it’s not what you thought it would cost. Maybe it was cheaper but we will never know unless your in this business.
@@Regirl75 I've built a house. There's no way it cost $100K. But also, maybe it is movable, like a trailer home. So maybe she can take it with her. I think it cost around $20K.

Hi there! This turned out so beautifully, I am currently working on something similar to this. Can I ask you how did you go about casing and framing the interior of your doors? Since the door is pre-mounted and it only has the 2x4 jams, it's not very aesthetic. I've done my window jams and casings, but it's a little bit different process and I'm having a hard time researching the right way to do it. Would you happen to have any information you can share about what you did to yours? I'd be so grateful!

Actually I’d put paper backdrops for photos right in front of the door! When you open both doors, you get TONS of beautiful light coming right at you, which is so flattering. Or you can open just one if there’s too much light. As a photographer, natural light from the sides can make it very hard to shoot. Sometimes it gives a nice touch, but for example when shooting portrait, it will bring too much of a side shape and put center in the shadow. And shadows themselves will be quite difficult to work with. You need to think about maybe switching plans for table and backdrop places! But otherwise, very beautiful space to work in!
We have a barn cabin. We have 12 acres on the river and needed a place to sleep over. So it’s been a great choice. Very well made. Perfect for what we need it for. And I know you will enjoy yours as an office. I love how your dog is helping. Lol. Leslye
