Make a Cute Doggie Poop Bag Holder!

- If you have a dog or know someone that has a dog, (duh - that's all of us!), then this will make the process of picking up after your dog a little more palatable~
Attach it to the dog leash, backpack, belt loop, purse, whatever or wear it around your wrist with a strap or those cute expandable rubber things (see pics).
These templates have my No Slip Backing so cutting is fast, eaasy & accurate. That means these whip up super quick. They use very little fabric - so now you have another reason to save your scraps!
Plus, it's a great assembly-line project.
Make them for everyone you know.
And if you like making quickie projects to sell, this is a really good one!

I just found your video a couple of days ago and just now tried to make these. WOW! This has got to be the easiest thing I have ever made! Thank you so much for sharing. Our senior center is having a craft fair in December and these will be perfect. Something different. I did find dog poo bags 4 for $1.25. They fit perfectly! Thanks again!
So sorry for my delay; I haven't been on TH-cam lately! Thanks, too, for your nice comments. These are a great way to use up scraps & even recycled projects. I hope you have great success at your craft fair, Lynda!
Thank you for leaving the faulty material in the video. It helps the rest of us to understand to use it or not to use it.❤
Haha! Glad it was helpful~
I recently saw this tutorial and ordered the templates. So looking forward to creating. Thank you for the goodies you sent with my order! 5:17
Thanks for your order, Adell! Glad you liked the goodies, too~ Hope you have a great time with everything!
Linda - I had some olefin fabric that I bought years ago. This worked out perfect using the one layer method. I made both the 5 inch and the 6 inch to see how much difference there was. The 6 inch width is almost too big unless you were to make larger seams. I know how you love using hair ties and elastics from the $ store - I bought a 3 pack of 'jelly spirals' in the hair section to be used as a bracelet to attached the bag to with the aid of a key loop. Love all of your ideas!
Jeanne - Thanks for the comments & great ideas! Love that you have played around with this method already, too. It's fun to explore options! I found the 6" too big as well so that's why I suggested the smaller template for the one layer method. I got my jelly bracelets from the Dollar Tree, too, & from CVS in those bins near the checkout. Amazing what you can find while you're waiting in line. Forgot that the upholstery fabric was called olefin. I made a project using it, & if I remember correctly, you can't iron on the back of it. Thanks again for sharing!
The rectangles can also be used to make a simple quilt top. Especially if you are learning to sew. I like the cute pouches.
Great idea! Didn't even think about that~ thanks, Darla!
Very cute idea
Thanks; they're lots of fun to make, too!
hello, what an interesting rotary cutter. what is it called?
It's the Ergo Cutter from Martelli. I used to work for them & sold them on my website but don't have any more except for lefties. You can find it at www.martellinotions.com
I was wondering if these sell.
I don't know as I don't have time to make things to sell but they have been a popular template set!
How do I find your website? I just found you and this is amazing! Great tutorial!

Dankeschön
@@allafrankbratzke1243 you're welcome!
Your videos are much too long. I have to move on and find another TH-camr
I understand. I struggle with how much info to share. But lots of customers call asking for even more & lots that thank me for giving the details. My hope was to do 2 videos for each project - 1 'get 'er done' & the other like I am doing. But this last year plus I was away helping my mother with her cancer struggle, surgery, end of life then packing their home up. My dad struggled with dementia & was unable to live alone so I got him moved into a memory unit. Brother, sister & I have been trying to pick up the pieces & be there for him. He passed a week ago just after I got back from a visit. I just got home from packing his place up. Lots of other major changes in my life & it has all been difficult. I have just been glad that I've put out any videos. I hope in a few months to be able to get back to my goal of 2 videos/project. I appreciate the feedback.
very sorry for your losses. don't listen to negative people. we live in a free country, move on.
