TYVM😍I am on WFPB, SOS diet for life. This looks and sounds delicious and healthy. When I gave up processed foods, sugar added oils, salt, it took about a month to get the tastebuds to adjust. I add spices. It has been a year and I am not looking back. I lost 15 lbs of fat, it just melted off. I am so much healthier now.

Great job! Processing is so full of chemicals and bleh. Your body is probably thrilled not to have the dyes and nonsense. Given how addictive sugar is (and how many different sugars get added), it takes dedication! MegaFabu!

    Great video as usual.

I love how in your videos you are constantly addressing confusion. Would you consider making a video about "organic": what it actually means, what the cultivation practice actually looks like, which foods we should really prioritize getting organic, etc.?

I wonder if my dessert recipe passes the immunity doctor test 😅
it's avocado 🥑, tofu, banana 🍌, carob powder, and rare sugars.
I just use the immersion blender. I find that soft tofu works better.
My dietitian said to substitute carob because chocolate has too much fat and caffeine.

Continue in my request for GERD diet. On another note, talk about herbal teas. For instance compare elderberry tea to elderberry whole. I have to buy elderberries online if I want them and they're expensive. The tea is expensive too

I made the dessert and love it. I have been trying some of your recipes, they are good, and believe in the philosophy behind eating Whole Foods. Unfortunately I have type 2 diabetes and have tried now for two weeks and my sugar still goes up and now seems to take longer to come down. Previously I tried Keto. Kept my sugar under control but I didn’t like eating all the fake sugars. I take 7 units of Lantus daily and no other medications to control my sugar - diet only (only taking supplements) needless to say I’m feeling a bit depressed.

Sorry to read that you're feeling depressed. And I hope that going forward you have more happy days than crappy days!!! 🌝🙃😋🌝🌝🌝🌝
      👌👍🕯🙏🕯...........
My dad has Type 2 diabetes. My sister and I have been trying to get him to eat better.
He's a bored senior and every time he passes by the kitchen he sees something else he wants to eat and takes it. We try and try to get him not to keep eating but like he's going to listen to his first born and last born daughters...
He gets mad at us so we stop saying anything about it sometimes.
He used to be a smoker decades ago and he gained weight. After some time he lost the weight but now he's gained weight again and we want him to bring it down for better health and so his back pain goes away...
Personally I hate sugar!!! If I make any cookies or any dessert I don't put any sugar at all, I believe sugar is very bad for all of us. So I only use honey or maple syrup.
I'm not a doctor and I know that honey and maple syrup is probably too sweet for diabetics but if someone only has 1or 2 cookies that aren't made with sugar (but have either honey or maple syrup in them) maybe this can help keep them away from sugar yet give them some sweetness that they crave.
You should check with your doctor but I wonder if natural sweets from honey or maple syrup could do the trick but not be so harmful?
Maybe the doctor with her recipes can provide some insight on honey/maple syrup. Thanks

@@User-blu-7999Thank you! I’m feeling a bit better today. Emotional roller coaster 😊. I agree, I don’t like sugar either. Unfortunately my sugars go up with fruit and beans. Everything is a carb. I just think my body is broken. It’s difficult for me to understand insulin resistance, etc. I had a great A1C last week, 6.2 down from 6.4 last year. But I was loosely following keto. I think our mind can also have an impact. I don’t have a primary doctor any more only my diabetic nurse practitioner. Other than few occasions, I have been pretty much off sugar, and all processed foods. I used almond and coconut flours for baking and sugar alcohols as sweeteners. I did eat fats (butter, cream and ate meats). But I do have heart issues so when I came across this channel I was excited. I will keep trying. I know about proportions and limiting what I eat as well as making sure I walk daily. That’s about the most exercise I can do. What I really need is a menu I can follow: breakfast, lunch and dinner and healthy snacks/desserts. I’m not very creative. Thanx again. Good luck giving advice to your father. He may hear more than you realize. 💗

As I finished listening to your presentation I seem why you do not use the fiberless date syrup. Until I finished up the date syrup then I will add unflavored fiber powder to have the fiber or part date syrup, part dates.

I've made similar desserts with urad dal instead of tofu. Add a spoon of nut butter for extra flavor. (Urad dal is a small bean you get in Indian groceries. It has the skin removed, so it's beautifully smooth when cooked and pureed. Good flavor as well.)

Prunes, raisins soaked in hot water, sweet cherries (leave out the soy milk), banana (heat slightly first; will turn brown so best with cocoa desserts), mango.
