Danny Green Is A BRICK that’s like saying what does Kareem have to do with Wilt when it comes to comparison. Lebron is typically compared to Jordan. Just because they’re not the same height or position, they are gonna be compared. End of
Danny Green Is A BRICK you’re just supporting his point. Jordan is compared to everyone who has an argument for GOAT. In this era, Lebron is just the leading candidate to the GOAT convo. Plus this video is about GOAT so it has a lot of things to do with lebron and Jordan.
Danny Green Is A BRICK “Typically” the top two all time players amongst fans, media and other basketball watchers, is argued between Jordan and Lebron. Therefore it makes sense that somebody would mention the name Lebron in a Jordan video. People always mention Bird when they talk about Magic. Admittedly for different reasons, as they played each other, but they are mentioned together nonetheless. The fans and media will compare MJ and LBJ for talent reasons etc. Don’t blame me for simply explaining the situation. I’m literally saying it how it is
@Danny Green Is A BRICK lol. You dont even believe your own words. It has everything to do with Lebron. Lebron is the self proclaimed GOAT and kids like you believe that.. So this vid based on the GOAT has plenty to do with LeBron. You see the connection.
@Danny Green Is A BRICK when you stop acting like this has nothing to do with Lebron ill stop saying you believe Lebron is the GOAT, alright. Non stop ESPN, LeBron better than Jordan. non stop comments on Jordan vids, Lebron the better than Jordan. non stop 20 year olds saying Lebron better than Jordan. Lebron James himself saying "That made me the Goat". You, what does any of this have to do with Lebron James?. Really, GTFOH! LOL

My go-to argument against Bronsexuals on Twitter now (besides 6-0, 3-6) is Jordan's stretch playing at PG under Doug Collins. I never seen that broken down like Jonny does here and I'm amazed by that. If Jordan played the game like LeBron, Westbrook, etc. plays the game now he'd easily have 3-5 year stretches averaging a triple double WITH 30+ points a game.
That music brings me back to my living room as a kid. The nerf hoop on the wall. My bulls Tshirt on. Ready to watch the Bulls dominate. Man I miss those days.
Now you got 208 likes. That intro always gives me chills....gets me amped the f**k up. It makes you feel like the baddest mfr to ever step on the court just did!!
Before watching this I thought to myself " I havent seen a video that actually explains why Jordan is the goat ". Most videos are just " 6 for 6 " and "killer instinct". This is the best "Jordan is the goat" video on TH-cam.
This is the MOST FACTUAL analysis I’ve seen regarding MJ V Lebron! It is extremely thorough and based on data and facts. I also like how he broke down the difference in their positions; especially how Jordan didn’t play the point. Then he compared the 24 games when he did under Doug Collins. Very well done...CHECKMATE!!!
What a fantastic breakdown. The stat about MJ's rookie year having identical numbers to Kobe's MVP year is ASTOUNDING. I will say this as well. MJ NEVER backed down. He never got lost in the bright lights of the big stage. Lebron is my 2nd favorite player of all time. I rooted for him his entire career and I still root for Lebron. He is a great human being. And a great role model. But Lebron had moments where he didn't show up even though he was by far the most talented player on the floor. I'm not questioning his heart but it's undeniable that he had moments where he over-thought and under-played. Jordan never, not even once, didn't leave it all on the court. NOBODY matched his drive. NOBODY matched his heart. And NOBODY beat him on the biggest stage.
I don't see how you can say that LeBron James is a great role model are you shiting me look at how he has disrespected law enforcement he has destroyed the NBA and has destroyed the Lakers name never again well I want an NBA game or root for the Lakers never again
Both in prime kobe would beat mj, kobe has 81, 62, and 50+ streak, kobe is the only player win a couple chips with different star mj always has pippen, I wouldn't credit much on the 2nd 3-peat coz the bulls is a super team, too bad for kobe that he was stuck with a bad teammate in his prime and control his ability by phil Jackson he could have 100+ if Jackson unleashed him, he could have 9-10 chimps if Lakers replace shaq with a star, kobe is the only player who took over the game (g4 vs pacers) at the age of 21 (mj didn't, by playing in college mj has an edge by experience) btw I am as old as mj and they are both my favourite player it's a continuation of basketball greatness, entertainment, competition, from mj to kobe, but in their prime I choose kobe, overall its mj coz mj knows his strength and maximize it.
MJ also had Kobe's stats as a ROOKIE!!!!! Do some of these fans out here know what that even means or looks like?? Unbelievable!!!!! Its a thing of beauty, savage, skillful, graceful, totally dominant and second to NONE. MJ #1 always
That's bullshit, first of all I want to say that I think Jordan is the GOAT and there's no discussion there. The problem I have is that joke of a point he was making with the kobe MVP Stat, a few minutes before he was talking about how stats can't paint the picture completely regarding how dominant you game actually was or is because there are factors that can't be taken into account from one generation to another. For example (and I hope he likes this) here's wilts rookie stats 37.6ppg 27rb 2.3ass and here's MJs 1998 MVP season 28. 7ppg 5.8rb 3.5ass, you see the problem with the picture you're trying to paint? + his own rookie stats were better than his MVP season, that doesn't make him a better player. This is the same thing that LeBron fans who seem to not understand that these are just stats (which are good indicators but not everything) try to do to prove his point.
@@thinkingoutloud2225 rookie mj w 51% lead his team to a 38-44 team which was good enough for 8th seed in that time 🤣🤣 don't even compare Rookie Mj to Mvp Kobe. its not a debate. Kobes mvp season lead lakers to the finals having Gasol for only 27 games, also with Bynum & Ariza out for the entire season & did it on 45%. Kobe at 22 yrs old avg 28/6/5 to 21 yrs old Rookie Mg 28/6/6 .
Yooooooo this is great!!! They're trying so desperately to get us to believe Lebron is the greatest! Every week there is a new narrative shannon, collin, and nick wright try to come up with🤦🏾♂️
"He's the best athlete - he's one of the best competitors - he's one of the most skilled players, and that, to me, makes him the best basketball player that I've ever seen play." - Bobby Knight, 1984, before MJ even played 1 second in the NBA.
The one fact that I learned in this video which proves Jordan's dominance over LeBron once and for all, was his stent as the point guard in the late '80s. Think about it. The guy gets like 15 triple doubles in 24 games. And he averages over 30 points a game while doing this. That's insane! If he was orchestrating the offense like LeBron did for his whole career, Michael Jordan might have averaged a triple double for his career.
@@paysonfox88 Right?!! I love that fact. & As a rookie he led the team in pts, rebounds, ast, steals, and came in 2nd to a 7-footer in blocks. Reminds me of another Knight quote, when his ‘friend with a high draft pick that year’ told him “we don’t need a guard, we need a center,” Bobby told him “play him at center!” 😁 MJ’s Goatness is undeniable.
You did a great job buddy! I say all the same things constantly... all that needs to be said is this: 1988 Jordan was mvp, defensive poy, scoring champ, 1st team all NBA, 1st team all defensive, all star mvp, now go ahead 10 years and in 1998 Jordan was mvp, scoring champ, 1st team all NBA, 1st team all defensive, all star mvp, finals mvp while winning the chip at 35. NO ONE WILL EVER DO THIS AGAIN!!!!!!!
I don't know how anyone uses the athleticism argument when LeBron Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in their athletic crimes lost to an old Dirk nowitzki and old Jason kids and am overall old and unathletic Dallas Mavericks
One of the other knocks about Jordan's titles is "he beat old teams", yet that same logic is never used towards LeBron. So if Jordan's first title against the Lakers is downgraded because they're "an old team", then shouldn't LeBron and the Heat beating the Celtics get downgraded since the Celtics were an old team as well? Shouldn't his loss to the Mavs be considered even worse since the Mavs were the older team(oldest in the league that season, in fact)? What about the loss to the 2014 Spurs since the Spurs were the older team as well? If Jordan beating older teams is considered bad, then shouldn't losing to the older team be worse?
The whole "Jordan only beat older teams" is overplayed anyway. The Bulls were the younger team in all of the first 3peat and the older team in all of the second 3peat. In the first 3peat, the only age gap of significance was to the Lakers. Against the Blazers and Suns, it was such a minute difference that they might as well have been the same age. It's also funny how they'll call Stockton and Malone "old as hell" when Stockton was only 1 year older than Jordan and Malone was the same age(if you wanna get technical, Jordan's birthday is 5 months before Malone's so he's technically older). LeBron fans love grasping at straws to find any edge to give LeBron over Jordan, and that's exactly how you know that Jordan is the GOAT.
@@leighwright3450 Agreed, but then they turn around and say the Spurs in 2013 and 2014 were a dynasty with 4 hofs 😂. Modern fans arguments are just projections...
You will only see a Michael Jordan once in a lifetime,, I feel privileged to have lived to see this man play.Jordans vert and free throw line leaps his style and clutch plays you will never see that again EVER!!
True, and it is not even close. People can argue all they want about who the best is: Wilt , Kareem, Kobe, Lebron, Magic, Bird, Robinson, they are all bias...overall statistical analysis of players' stats show that he is the best by a wide margin, not even close. For example: Kobe's highest shooting percentage is equivalent to MJ lowest shooting percentage (not including his wizards years), highest PER of any player that ever existed, averaged nearly 40-points a game in the Finals (against the the second best team in the NBA) with the hand-check rule intact, etc... Anybody has the balls and the brain to conduct a statistical analysis using MJ numbers against other players? The media is full of Jews telling the sport commentators what to say, they don't even know basketball as much as fans...Look at 2007 for example, no one on ESPN or any other media outlets predicted the warriors would beat the mavericks, yet almost every NBA fans that year were certain it would happen, and it did.
Oh man, Johnny. That music. It just takes me back to that time of complete awe, respect and disbelief of how good that man was. I'm so glad I was born in 79 and was able to follow the majority of MJ's career.

This is the best Jordan GOAT video I've ever seen. Obviously some stats, while ridiculously impressive, have too small a sample size but overall I've never thought that it was such a massive difference between MJ and everyone else
Nice job! I've always been a Lakers fan and loved to watch Magic & showtime but MJ was on a different level. His multifaceted skill set was better than anyone we've seen to date. MJ is the GOAT. Great vid!
One of the greatest videos to ever analytically show why MJ was the greatest by far. I respect all other great players but having watched most of them no one comes even close.
Corey Freeman by an a Celtics team with 5 hall of famers at least he he he went in the playoffs every year in he’s basketball career unlike lbj who had to wait three year to go to the playoffs and get beaten by a weak Eastern conference team in the playoffs
George Washington what are u talking abt he literally had more HOF teammates than MJ. And if u wanna talk abt “MJ had Pippen” not when he made the playoffs for the first 3 times. MJ>LBJ
This is the Video of all videos!!!! All you LeBroians, make sure you watch this in its entirety! You wanted facts, well Mr. Arnett has brought them to you, Full Throttle!!! Based on this enlightening Vid, You Can Even Compare Era's With Sound Reasoning! So no more debates guys; As if there ever was one anyway! Basically said, MJ's resume will never be challenged, let alone duplicated! BY ANYONE!!! Thank You Mr. Arnett!
Right. And to top it off, after the first 3 peat, he retired. They didn't win. He comes back and they resume winning. That means those rings were mostly about him!
Great job! I have made the same arguments for MJ over the years. Just think of this fact alone... he has 6 finals MVP awards which is the highest honor an NBA player can get. It not only shows he won a championship, it also means he was the main reason why. Who's in second place with that award? Shaq, LeBron, Magic and Duncan who all have 3. HALF of what MJ has! That alone makes him the GOAT but there is so much more like his unique ability to raise the level of his game at will. Look at the Jeff Van Gundy game, the George Karl game, the game where Jerry Stackhouse had been talking trash about Jordan prior to it. He scorched everyone and anyone who would badmouth him and was the only player that people were literally afraid to trash talk! He could just turn up the jets any time he wanted to and I don't know of another player who had that ability to that extent. He could also raise parts of his game at will while still maintaining his regular stats. Look at the 1991 finals where he averaged 11.4 assists to offset Magic Johnson, the 1992 finals where he hit a record breaking 6 three's in a half when they said that Clyde Drexler was a better 3 point shooter, the 1993 finals when Charles Barkley was the league MVP and was putting up crazy scoring numbers in the playoffs so MJ averaged 41 against him in the finals! The list goes on and on. That man was something special. GOAT!
Probably the BEST explanation i’ve ever heard on this PATHETIC debate. Michael Jordan is by far the GREATEST player EVER!!!!!!!!!!! GREAT video, awesome stats and breakdown, especially the comparison with Kobe’s mvp season and Mj’s rookie season.
This new generation is just CLUELESS about Michael Jordan. Jordan is the greatest ever. Lebron should not be mentioned in the same sentence with Jordan.
Yeah sorry if we couldnt watch mj before we were born, sorry if we only get to watch kobe and lebron dominate this ere, yall oldheads take everythinh negatively though its just an opinion
JOHNPOWER454 It’s not just an “opinion “ though, y’all Lebron fans dickride lebron soo hard that even he him self called himself the greatest of all time 🤣
I have been watching basketball since the mid 70's and there have been been so many great players who have contributed so much to the game in that time. Bird, Magic, Kareem and Dr. J. are right at the very top in my opinion and Scottie Pippen is my personal favorite but with all due respect, Michael stands alone... This was a nice video to reinforce that opinion. I am always open to someone getting knocked off the mountaintop but in this case, I cannot foresee that ever happening, ever.
@@terrenceperkins5282 Yep Terrence, a one of a kind and he will live forever in basketball lore. Off the charts athleticism, drive and intelligence all rolled into one.
Lebron wishes he could make his gameplay as beautifully as Jordan did!! Jordan played in a tougher era and still made it look easy his trick layups and dunks were a thing of art
MJ is better at basketball, than ANY athlete has ever been at ANY sport. I’m grateful that I witnessed it all. I’m grateful that my dad bought me the shoes. I’m grateful I was in Chicago Stadium at game 1 of the 92’ Finals. To this day, seeing 35 first half points, was the best live sporting event experience of my life.
"Who do you draft at #1?" -Bobby Knight "Michael Jordan" "What if you need a center?" -Bobby Knight "Then you draft Michael Jordan and play him at center"
When it came to coaches, MJ wasn't picky about who until he won multiple rings with Phil Jackson. People forget that MJ was basically a coach's wet dream.
He also didn't like that he lobbied against Isaiah for the Dream Team. But, when you try locking someone out in an All-Star game, you're just asking for it.
Rob Pr actually MJ didn’t really say he wouldn’t play with IT. Chuck played a bigger role in IT not being picked. They had a falling out in 91-92 as IT accused Daly on concentrating to the US team vs his obligation to the Pistons.
The way Jordan destroyed NBA greats in those olympic collegiate exhibition contests pretty much sums it up. Many forget Jordan should have more 2 Mvp's, 3 more DPOY, etc. He got robbed in 97' for Mvp, 1987' for Mvp & DPOY, etc. He should of won DPOY at least 4 times. There was no shooting guard in history more deadly on the defensive & offensive side than MJ.
Some people like to argue that Jordan was successful in the 1990s because he had the best team, unlike LeBron for most of his career. Well, this is a bad argument for two reasons: 1st, the Bulls were really the best team, but one of the reasons for that was ... Jordan himself; and 2nd, being in the finals with the best team does not guarantee victory. LeBron made four finals with the best team and still lost two of them.
Its the same reason I can't hate on Golden state for being too overpowered...they worked for that (KD aside) and so did the bulls. Teams are SUPPOSED to work hard and become way better and from all indications Jordan is a major reason that happened.
lebron is a loser, that's why, he rides people to finals and gets pretty numbers for himself because he doesnt know how to play off-ball and have a true system than his own

Great points and actually common sense, but there are so many people that judge MJ even though they have not seen enough games of him. The media only keeps these comparisons of todays players to make these guys look more significant. Michael Jordan kind of destroyed the game, cause he was one of a kind, lightyears ahead of anybody else and nobody ever since was even close.
I just have to say, the side-by-side comparison with Kobe, using Jordan's rookie numbers next to Kobe's MVP numbers was just insane! Jordan's non-MVP year (1989) next to LeBron's first MVP season is also very enlightening. It shows, in part, why Jordan is the GOAT.
To be fair to Kobe, Jordan played 3 years in college and was a national champion. He wasn't what the typical all-star rookie looks like in a modern league. It's still very impressive, but Mike wasn't like... a kid.
@@ghostaccountlmao You are missing it. Jordan's rookie year would best several of the prime years most all-time greats have EVER played. Period! He wasn't comparing Jordan's rookie year to Kobe's rookie year. He was comparing Jordan's rookie year to Kobe's MVP year. That's crazy!
Trent Leboeuf he took a L in 95 because he was rusty. Remember he got off to play baseball in 94, so that was 1 whole year without playing ball. He came back 95 and was not the same. Took a while for him to come back and busted ass in 96.

David Dooling according to your logic, every player was” a role player”,but the last time i checked, the nba gives out some thing call finals mvp, I wonder what % of ‘role players” have that
@@why3643 He played in the most physical era, with many rules which made life of an offensive player way harder than today. The toughest era in basketball was from 1980 to 2000, give or take 2 or 3 years. Also, other players were very talented, skilled and definitely more physical than today, but he was just so superior he often made it seem like he was playing against some scrubs, when in reality he was competing against the best and most elite athletes in the world. You see many former players say MJ would have averaged 50 if he played in this era. Why do you think that is? He has the highest per-game points average in NBA history, with 30.1 points a game, not even Wilt averaged that and Wilt played in the weakest era, yet MJ played in the toughest era and still has the best numbers. That's just one of the many reasons he's the undisputed GOAT

True. But people like to make things interesting.

@@frazeirarabbi6047 Kobe ran up the score. MJ would often sit on the bench in the 4th quarter of the Bulls many blowout wins.
Kobe as a rookie has a higher 3p% than Michael Jordans first 5 seasons.
Rookie MJ had Kobe's MVP-year stat line but at 50% shooting 😮
@@thinkingoutloud2225 rookie mj w 51% lead his team to a 38-44 team which was good enough for 8th seed in that time 🤣🤣

Yooooooo this is great!!! They're trying so desperately to get us to believe Lebron is the greatest! Every week there is a new narrative shannon, collin, and nick wright try to come up with🤦🏾♂️
They don't because it would only expose how weak mj's era was
"He's the best athlete - he's one of the best competitors - he's one of the most skilled players, and that, to me, makes him the best basketball player that I've ever seen play." - Bobby Knight, 1984, before MJ even played 1 second in the NBA.
Reminds me of another Knight quote, when his ‘friend with a high draft pick that year’ told him “we don’t need a guard, we need a center,” Bobby told him “play him at center!” 😁
MJ’s Goatness is undeniable.
That Mj rookie vs prime mvp Kobe stat is mind blowing!
Kobe obviously did better seasons
Keep in mind that the pacing was higher in MJs era so if you put it in per 75 Kobe would probably average at least 5 more ppg

After 20 years since he retired we still talk about him
Those Jordan point guard numbers, thooooooooough! 😱

yea, those PG numbers are pretty damn insane.
I don't know how anyone uses the athleticism argument when LeBron Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in their athletic crimes lost to an old Dirk nowitzki and old Jason kids and am overall old and unathletic Dallas Mavericks
Excellent point
@@davidmartinez52420 I agree, that crap about "Jordan beating teams only after they got old" is a FALSE NARRATIVE.

GOAT!

-Bobby Knight "Michael Jordan"
"What if you need a center?"
-Bobby Knight "Then you draft Michael Jordan and play him at center"
This is the ultimate detailed fact providing video on why Jordan is the GOAT!!! 👍🏽👍🏽 way up!

Somebody take the computer from this obsessed bum.
I would say the cavs in the 14-15 season were better than golden state if Kyrie and Love weren’t injured
Jordan was at 50.3% shooting until those Wizards years.
MJ 23-GOAT but still he kicked ass bro! 😊
50.3 percent of what?
It wasn't efficient shooting.
@@simplekindabb LOL. Care to. Elaborate?
Ummm
This video is going down as one of the best, if not the best arguments for Jordan of all time.
It's still very impressive, but Mike wasn't like... a kid.
@@ghostaccountlmao To be fair? He is going with Kobe’s MVP season no his rookie year.
There was never a debate....
Arthur Dalton NEVER!!!!!!!
FACTS especially now that LeBron adds Anthony Davis to the list of all stars he has played with...🤷
I don't know. You have that hater Charles Barkley who is mad that Jordan whooped him in the finals that says that LeBron is the greatest
Thank you
@FOM FamilyOverMoney haha hilarious. ahhh the jokes
What i like about mj is that hes a lock down defender, besides if jordan played in 94 and 95 season im sure he would won 8 straight finals..
I doubt it . Maybe won 4 in a row and took a L in 95 but we will never know
Trent Leboeuf he took a L in 95 because he was rusty. Remember he got off to play baseball in 94, so that was 1 whole year without playing ball. He came back 95 and was not the same. Took a while for him to come back and busted ass in 96.
@@mista_mask3163 I'm saying even if he didn't take a break . He had a high chance of losing those finals if he was to make it . Dream Hakeem won mvp dpoy and fmvp no one has ever done that all in the same year except him. It's just speculation . But let's just say mj won 6 in a row I highly doubt 8
@@relatablecontentissues6703 The Bulls would have easilly won that lockout season as well if they didn't split the team up, and possibly one more after that before MJ got too old, but even as and old dude with f**ked up knees, broken ribs and broken fingers he was still by far the best player on the Wizards and still amongst the best in the league. I wish he'd joined the Lakers instead of the Wizards because he'd have three more, but that's not his style. He liked to compete against the best rather than team up with them, unlike the GLOAT who's only managed 3 rings in 17 years... Bit of a LeJoke that people even compare him to Jordan.
@@relatablecontentissues6703 Mike won MVP, DPOY, Scoring champ and steals leader all in the same season. That's insane! Imagine if he had a good team around at that point... 82-0!?...
Jonny Arnett I'm so glad put that bulls into eye in the sky song there at the beginning. That music always gives me chills. Makes me miss the bulls days bro. Its like you hear that and know that the best player to ever step on the court is about to. "At guard from North Carolina..."
Frommmm North Carolina...at guard...6'6" !!!!!
Hearing that Bulls into music brought chills. MJ is probably the Greatest Athlete Ever, not just basketball but his resume combined with his skill and dominance speaks for itself to be the best of all time. TB12 Jerry Rice Serena Gretzky Willie Mays Federer etc, MJ to me is better than them all.
Well, don't forget about Bo Jackson - but MJ is definitely in the conversation for the best athlete ever, for sure...
RUSH!!!!!! - ALL THROUGH MY SPINE!!!!!!!
TBH the most dominant athlete for his respective sport is Gretzky in hockey. And the greatest single athletic feat I ever saw was Sakuraba beating Royce Gracie in a 90 minute fight then going to a draw in 15 minute regulation against Igor Vovchanchyn, the best hw in the world at the time. Igor having 50lbs on Saku and all this in the same night. 105 minutes of fighting in a single night.
You CANNOT exclude Muhammad Ali!!!!!!!!
Ok then, I have never heard of what you referred to, I will have to do some research, but I was referring to a career rather than one event. @@coachmikesfilmroom3111
To hear anybody say anybody but Jordan is the goat just reminds me of how quickly people forget.
I could say the same about my personal favorite MJ, one Earvin "Magic" Johnson
Crazy how you say that but u forgot about Wilt. Wilt is better than Jordan as hard as it is to say.
He’s probably the best player but he ain’t the GREATEST player
King Might that statement literally makes no sense!
Mark Rebok Magic was before my time but he was my dads alltime favorite but I grew up despising Jordan and was a Kobe and Shaq fan but Jordan is the best player I ever seen.
I have to say, this was the best Jordan analysis I have ever seen in my lifetime
Goosebumps! Love it... I miss watching MJ in real time... Thanks for the vid... New sub here ü
Thinking Out Loud i miss it too!!
Well said. MJ is clearly the GOAT.
Fox Sports should fire Colin Cowherd and hire you instead.
One of the best videos I've ever watched on TH-cam 👍🏼
"This is clearly why MJ is the GOAT." Bulls intro starts playing. End of discussion.
And the SpaceJam theme!!!
I won't lie it gave me goosebumps ☝🏿
I just got used to them being dogs. Now they are goats? I guess if u remove the R at the end u can call them whatever.
Yeah hes the goat of old nba,but lbj is the goat of modern nba
@@andresvm6356 JORDAN GOAT
That Bulls game intro soundtracking a montage of vintage MJ highlight plays with the foreboding vibe and the palpable sense of theater coupled with his undeniable charisma and off-the-charts swagger just gives me chills everytime, no matter how many times I watch this video. Thank God I had the opportunity to watch the 90's Bulls during their heyday. The treasure trove of memories and moments they left on my then impressionable mind are just priceless.
The thing that puts mj over lebron is his defense. Bottom line.
And his accolades, and his clutch genes.
And his scoring. And his loyalty and character. And his influence on sports.
Much more than that, they are not close
Also MJ's flops.... oh that's Lebrons thing. My bad sorry
The eye test
Mike led his team in points rebounds assists and steals as a rookie SG
2nd Team All Defense
2nd Team All NBA
1st Team All Rookie
-Michael was eventually voted the League’s Rookie of the Year
Jordan's rookie stats were also better than Kobe's MVP season. Amazing.
He also led the league in total points his rookie year.
28/5.6/7 on 57% FG
1984/85 season
His determination and grit alone makes him a goat.
Micheal should of been 1st team all nba. With the numbers he put out, are you kidding me? Smh
Listen basketball enthusiasts of the world. I'm going to say it from a standpoint that everyone will be able to understand. I am a Detroit Pistons fan and I have to admit that Michael Jordan is the greatest player of all time. Now if I can admit that there is no other discussion that needs to be brought up about this topic anymore. In the words of Russell Simmons God bless you, thank you, and good night.
Thank y'all for coming out.. lol
Respect Kingdom Thinker.
This vid is the GOAT at explaining why MJ is the one and only GOAT.
All you have to do is watch Mike play. He’s so smooth, it looks effortless. He’s a technician. No weaknesses at all. He was just a joy to watch because he was so talented; you knew you were seeing something special.
Bro and not only was he undefeated in the finals - NO TEAM EVER EVEN TOOK THEM TO A 7TH GAME IN THE FINALS!!!!
Actually ......3
He also missed the finals entirely in 1995, in the middle of his prime
Mr.E not his prime look up his interview after that loss to Orlando. Jordan played less than half a season and... just look up the interview. All I can say he backed up what he said and 3-peated again
Mr.E: Bron lost to a way worse Orlando team. Shaq/Penny>> D12 orlando. just 1 star & he aint Shaq lol
@@MrE_ brah he played baseball for half a year give some respect. Atleast he made another three peat the year after after losing his muscle memory sooo hes the GOAT
That 90’s Bulls intro still gives me goosebumps. When they played Seattle, in the finals, it was so loud that it didn’t even make sense. Then he said “...from North Carolina”, I couldn’t believe it but it got even louder.
Damn I grew up Watching NBA every time and most of the games where The Bulls VS Another Team and I love MJ He was my favorite player in NBA..Was he your favorite player? If he is then like this comment.
beggar
One of the best arguments I have heard.
Yea it's undeniable and he barely scratched the surface
Everyone also forgets to mention that he retired and played a high level of baseball during the prime of his basketball career
You left 'em dead with this video. MJ was simply a force to be reckoned with. Hard to believe some people never saw him play basketball. What a shame, for them.
Lol You killed me with the Colin clip and the spongebob music 😂
MJ, he dominated the game so thoroughly
I love it man... just straight up facts... it's sad that you even have to defend the GOAT which is as plain as day, but you do a damn good job of doing it... props man!
Agreed!!!!
4:10 that move right there...he was the man. Crazy, MJ started out as a Super Saiyan when he was a rookie!
GREAT VID, TOO!
Lol. Facts. MJ is the Goku of the NBA, no doubt.
Dean Smith was the only person to keep MJ under 20 ppg.

Ultra Instinct
Watching him play is amazing and heartbreaking at the same time. Just knowing when your team made it to the finals they had 0 chance against MJ puts it in perspective. 100% win rate in the finals is just insane.
The alan parsons project intro song gave me the chills!!!. I was lucky to see the GOAT play in my youth, what a magical time that was
I remember after I graduated university I moved to Edmonton, alberta Canada (coldest place on earth a few years ago). I turned around my entire life after reading the book driven from within (a jordan book) while I was there. I would run everyday (every single day, for months), worked 80 hour weeks (and paid off student debt) - I was making the same amount of money as my peers do now 10 years later, and made killer friends and stories I can't share on a public forum. (I also didn't have much balance, but easily one of the most proud moments of my life.) I never played basketball, but this mans zeal kept me going. I hope it does for you too. The greatest. 🏀
This is the most insightful basketball video I have ever seen. I’ll admit it, I’m a Chicago native...so I may be a bit bias...but this video proves that not just on a judgement basis, but even on a non-bias statistical and analytical basis, it’s quite clear that Michael Jordan is the greatest player of all-time. 💯
Great video. I saw the Bulls play against the Knicks in 1997. There were many great Players on the floor. But MJ's athletic and skills were outstanding. Even if you don't know the game of Basketball, you could see that this Player had a different - a better - level than the others. Since then I have not felt this feeling with any other player. MJ is the best player I've ever seen.
GOAT, the one where all others are measured against. That can never be Lebron because GOAT dont quit no matter how tough things get. They can be defeated or beaten but can never broken. What kind of standard is Lebron setting? Giving up when you feel like it is okay?
Only softy losers will ever pick Lebron as GOAT over Jordan and that is a fact. Why? Because Lebron give losers hope... yeah I gave up today but hey... there is always tomorrow, I will give it my all tomorrow... and tomorrow... and tomorrow.
"Softy losers." Great informative and factual argument. You clearly are not a delusional hater...
almost 2 years later and this video is all i need to see to know who the goat is
I miss a one solid arguement.... SpaceJam! ;) :)

What makes this worst for lebron is that kids in this generation who haven't seen mj play before say that Michael Jordan is the g.o.a.t, if kids who are under 21 or are 21 in this generation saying that MJ is better than lebron you the argument of who's the goat between lebron and Jordan is over
King Devon but the kids are buying more air Jordan than lebron sneakers
Michael Jordan's jersey was 6th on the top 10 best sellers list this past season, the only retired player in the top 10. Hasn't played in 16 years and hasn't played for the Bulls in over 20 years yet he's still in the top 10.🐐 Trust me an overwhelming majority still say he's the G.O.A.T.

72% voted for Jordan while only 11 % voted for LeBron even though they play against James every season and get to see him play. most of the players who voted were born after Jordan retired and never got to see him play in person and these guys know the real deal about basketball, not what some tv announcer says that could be made up

His role, as the best player of his era and possibly the G.O.A.T., was to play within Phil's system, with an all-time great teammate, and a very solid supporting cast. Before Phil, MJ didn't win. With Phil and Scottie, he won. He was a role player.

MJ has the best argument for GOAT consideration, yet he also played in the toughest and most physical era. Undisputed GOAT
SedaW LoL false indeed he is the goat tho but he didn’t play in no crazy era
He played in the worst era of shooting gaurds in history in the 90s
SedaW LoL lmfaooo bro what if u was guarding Jordan and he destroys u ur teammates can’t help u at all that likes playing 3v3 in the hood u for ur 3 and they got. There 3 but one of there 3 is a little kid who is getting destroy and u can’t do shut cuz they will call if u try to help wow is so hard is like playing 1v1 in a 5v5 and there are more skilled players I doubt it our era has some of the most deadliest and skillful talented players not saying last era they werent but not as closed as this one not only that majority of the good players that played in this era either fell of or lost to injuries sucks but is true and more physical I doubt there was ever a time when basketball was more physical slow pace and fast ok I can accept that but I don’t bealive any era was more physical so we live in a bitch era yeah cuz of the new skill that has been shown that is what they do they replace hand checking with flopping is a new thing know sucks but o well so is easy for guards to go to the line with that bullshit
SedaW LoL and lml no wilt actually is the highest person to score more then hen 30 intact he had more 30 50 and 60 points games then Jordan in fact there was a year and which he avatar 50 points hwas at whole year Jordan could not even do that lmfaooo is highest was 36 and that’s it wilt is another lvl when it comes to scoring thank god there wasn’t award if not I think wilt would had 20 scoring titles
A prime MJ would dominate today's NBA the same as he did in the 80's & 90's! Thnx for the video!
And non of them had to deal with the pressure he created for himself....Basketball blew up because of him worldwide! Players salaries in all sports blew up because of this guy. Hell I flew half across the world to see him play I even forgot to see the rest of chicago.
People that know basketball, don't have to look at numbers. His moves were perfect on every aspect! Fundamendals plus athletisism at its best!
That entrance music ("sirius") still gives me goosebumps.
