I found the house renovation story disturbing because of the fact that the friend didn't do a thing about the first text saying "I'm going to end it all" and only went over the next day when getting a more alarming message. Never take for granted words like "going to end it all" spoken by anyone, even if they don't seem suicidal. Always react - you could be the difference between someone living and getting help or their dying feeling like everything is hopeless. Imagine leaving the world that way.... I am glad they made it in time when they did go over, but it could have ended very differently.

Strongly agree. My younger brother committed suicide, I wish he would have reached out to me. Wouldn't have seen that coming like ever. You never know what somebody else is thinkin. Glad he was able to get there in time
Yeah that one really got to me because I’ve been in the same situation with my ex bf he wanted to go spend the weekend with MY best friend who was yes another guy and barely knew him instead of staying with me when I was really sick because he “needed space” which was ridiculous because at the time he was living with mommy and daddy in their basement when he was living with me he could do whatever he wanted, had his car and I was pretty much helping and supporting him. So I got into a fight with him and when my friend and him were in my friends car I texted him and told him I wanted to kill myself so my friend yelled at my ex to call the cops so I wouldn’t hurt myself instead of coming back themselves which was also upsetting so I guess the cops came over and they were able to help me and actually a stupid dr here tried sending me to a psych place two hours from where I live and I actually woke up in a normal hospital and had no idea what happened! I guess after I got to the psych ward my sugars went above 800 which being type one diabetic could have put me in a coma or killed me so they had to transfer me to the bigger hospital and had to talk to a psych dr my ex wouldn’t talk to me was too scared to go back to my house and face my dad and sister it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever been through and it honestly is still upsetting to talk about because all these emotions come up you know? Sorry for such a long comment I rambled on but I agree it’s not that hard to go over and make sure your friend is ok or bring them to your place I’ve done the same for my friends and family. Don’t ever take someone you care for or love for granted and don’t let someone take you for granted either!

Creepy stories usually don't scare me, but when that smiling cowboy suddenly came around the corner I got some chills. It was the kind of odd story I like.

Azusa canyon that’s like less than 10mi from my spot. It’s was the first place i thought of when he said ‘local reservoir. The tribe from this area has many Sasquatch stories, apparently they “tamed” a female and she lived with the tribe for a while, possibly had offspring as well....

This is rarely “fatal” on its own. It’s such a small leak, it can avoid detection due to drafts or even certain vents being open. Long term affects include brain damage, mental instability, migraines, fatigue, and so on. It explains why the old man committed suicide, why the older dog passed, the behavior changes, and the “heavy air” feeling. The second floor could be the bad spot, because that’s where everyone felt it. Also, him living in the attic may have saved him from it getting worse.
