The 3rd story really reminded me of Aztec Mythology. In the mythology, the earth is a semi-dead monster that is fed with sacrifice, interesting connection.

I remember this old cabin in the woods of Tennessee years ago, there would be a candle lit inside, but when we would run towards it the candle would go out. We walk in and nothing. We would walk a 1/4 mile away and candle light back on. Storm finally destroyed the haunted cabin years back. Weird

That last story has a movie out.its horrifying to watch and heartbreaking that it happened to them people. No real justice for the family is even more heart wrenching.

I’ll get justice my own way. That Herbert Mullins story is really creepy, too. He was truly mentally unstable. Anyone who can shoot a man in broad daylight and not think twice, is what’s unnerving to me. He believed what he thought was true to be the right thing to do.
I believe they killed the family to take the little girl Tina. Her remains were found like 28 years later. About 20 miles from the murders. I have never seen the movie. It is disturbing enough to hear it.

The kids father who was in an institution is Mario, Princess Peach was his mother who was disowned by her family when she left the Mushroom Kingdom, and the brother living in the cabin was Luigi... I challenge any of you to dispute this, as it all lines up perfectly. Haha

I’ve always heard about the earthquake murderer but didn’t realize how close he was to me. I know every location of that story, it made it super visceral. And no, it’s just a straight lie that he stopped all earthquakes in California. Anybody that loves her knows small earthquakes happen ALL the time.
The keddie cabin murders are well documented its believed that the surviving daughter involved with the murders its also believed that local law enforcement was tied into this in some career or reputation ruining manner There is also youtube channel called called keddie28 which seems to be ran by some mentally ill person who has a fascination with this case There are also news clips here on youtube posted as recently as 2020 in which police say they are close finally solving the keddie case
Can’t believe people even think that first story was any good but you can’t just burn down a house/cabin that isn’t yours, this “uncle” didn’t leave the house to the author. He just said burn it? Then doesn’t think about possibly starting a forest fire until afterwards 😂 But okay let’s days that all happened and this is a shady uncle you don’t trust, you immediately go and do exactly what he says to do after his death, not questioning why? What if you just burnt a bunch of evidence? I see lots of comments saying how well written that story was but all it takes is a little critical thinking to see it’s not.
Story number 1 could have been better if it had a reason for wanting the cabin burned and should have given a reason for the pot on the stove with all the running from it also a female main character wouldve been a better fit for this particular story The concept of the of the character distancing himself from his family only to be contacted years later to fufill a last request is actually good the last request in this particular story should have been related to some sinister something or someone or act from the characters past that affected the entire family but the uncle and main character uncle were the most affected which lead to there current positions
