I work in healthcare, I'd kill for summers off. We're lucky if they don't mandate us often to stay another shift, or 1/2 a shift. We can't leave until our replacement is there. Healthcare, emergency type jobs have to be open 24/7, they're tough! [Not knocking teachers by no means]. Just different type of work.
The dude donated his organs.. how they gonna try to sue? It was a terrible coincidence, but his brain was just the same as all the other specimens; displayed for education. A good specimen wasted, honestly.
Agree like if my brain or any other organ gets out in a jar in a lab for science I’d think it be pretty cool because even though I’d be dead I’d still be contributing to science
Disagree. I think the family should still be allowed to say what they do with the organs. That’s traumatic for the kids and the family alike. If I donated my organs, it would be to someone who needed them to survive. We should be allowed to designate specifics when it comes to what happens to our organs afterwards.
@@maybellique of course we are, the family decided to donate the organs. In the US when there is a fatal accident and the victim is a minor the family decides what to do with the organs. So they can't sue after they already decided to donate them. It's just a freaky coincidence. Also you don't get to pick who gets the organs that's not how it works. There is a massive list of people that need healthy organs by the minute.
The second story is ridiculous. I also went on a high school morgue/ saw a live autopsy. The guy was an organ donor. Case closed. Also, grateful for people like him. Donating your body to science is highly respectable. The autopsy I saw was a 19 year old boy who had drowned. No one screamed or cried, we took notes. Parents didn't handle this correctly
The "author" really annoyed me. I understand them being upset seeing the brain of a classmate...but suing the state for something the dude signed up for?
That second story was handled poorly. They were all fine and satisfying their morbid curiosity but the moment one of the organs happens to be someone they knew and suddenly the whole morgue are a bunch of evil people and deserve to be sued into oblivion.
Absolutely my thoughts as well. Perhaps if you’re still mourning a death, a graphic field trip all about death isn’t the best social outing to go on. It was an emotional situation, sure-but that’s not the morgues fault.
And the narrator saying there's a place in hell for the person telling they can legally harvest their organ doner son after a fatal accident was pretty extreme too. No deserves hell, at least not for long.
My daughter watched CSI all through her growing up years. She loved it. I got her all of the actors autographs. She now is a 29 year old CSI detective. Thanks for the great stories!
The brain jar one tho…. Legally because he was an organ donor….. they do have the right to do so? You know? It sucks but they can’t sue for being given legal permission and doing what they were given permission for
Right? I was kind of annoyed at the writer of this one. He’s all down on CSI crap, but doesn’t know the basics of organ donation? You are giving your organs to the state. What did you think that meant? The parents reaction was equally dumb too. My view is, I’m dead, my brain is useless now. Put that crap on display. Maybe it will help save someone in the future through study. That’s the whole point of donating to science, right?
@@bigbeefy111 exactly- and the fact that you can only become an organ donor until after you legally can register for it on your own (when you get a state ID @18 or unless your parents sign a consent form if you are a minor- so if the story is correct, the kids wishes were for his organs to be donated- legally the parents can’t override a decision the kid made while he was a legal adult. Or they consented if he was underage and they can’t just take it back. In either situation they were in their right
Yes you both have pretty much covered it. My niece passed away due to viral meningitis 3 years ago, she was in her final year of forensic science, she was a huge advocate of organ donation and always kept her organ donor card on her. We were informed in the months after she passed that her kidneys had saved two lives and that really made us so proud of her. She was also posthumously awarded her forensic science degree. Miss you Jenn x
Also also, like they mentioned not being told that it had been removed, like, would you WANT to be told of all organs the brain was removed? If you can't tell at burial, and otherwise would never have known, what does it matter?
Story 2... Maybe I'm different because I was raised in a morgue, and around dead bodies (My one uncle is a pathologist, and my other uncle "they are brother's" is a mortician). I don't agree with the family trying to sue the school, and local morgue because their child's organ was kept to be studied. The boy was an organ donor.... I don't mean any disrespect at all, like I said maybe I'm wired differently because I grew up around dead bodies, and organs. Who knows 🤷🏼♀️
I completely agree, when you sign up for organ donation you should not be the one to try to dictate what is actually done with your organs, you signed them away fair and square. While displaying the brain along with the name was not done with malicious intent, just an odd happenstance that no one could have predicted. Donated bodies and organs usually have the name so people who view them or work on them never forget the sacrifice that was made so they can learn. Organs are kept so learning can continue, without donated organs and whole bodies students could not learn hands on which is imperative for most medical fields. My grandmother died of a rare disease, the doctors came to our family and asked if they could dissect her brain and send thin slices throughout the world so the disease could be studied. We readily agreed as she always did love to travel.
I don’t see why it was such a big deal to everyone who saw it, personally. Although if his name was actually displayed, I think they should have used better discretion and left it anonymous.
I agree too. However I heard something that made me never want to be an organ donor. It’s probably not true *everywhere* but it came from somewhere. I’m sure some of you might have heard this especially the 30+ crowd. “If you are an organ donor, paramedics won’t try *as* hard, ER doctors won’t go the *extra mile*” mainly with healthy adults and extremely healthy seniors in order to help save a child’s life. My parents actually both work in fields that see death (nurse, and a Police Captain of one of the most dangerous city per capita) they told me at 17 (when I got my license not to be a donor even tho I have always wanted to be a donor, especially if it was to save a life and I was brain dead or on a respirator) I would donate my brain to science in a heart beat.
Spending so much time suing over something their son signed up for keeps them truamatizing themselves. It is awful that the boys sister saw the brain in the jar. But suing does nothing but hurt programs in research.. It's hard to make advancements with so many sue happy people. Like I said, it's a negative domino effect.
I think since it was his brain it was a little different. Organ donors usually intend to have their organs donated to someone on a transplant waiting list. You can’t transplant a brain, so why store it on display when it could’ve been buried with him? Further, why keep it on display knowing children from his high school would be touring? It all seemed a bit callous and 100% careless.
@@Ghostbuster07 I mean its a tour, of a morgue 😂 id expect to see some organs or something along the line of that. I understand that was the girls friend which was probably horrible to see, but hey, you agreed to go on that trip, still mourning about your friends death. Then to go to someplace literally meant for DEATH 😂
@@Ghostbuster07 no, the fact that it was an optional, death centered trip is absolutely relevant and possibly more so than everything you said. Now, to address what you said, it doesn't matter if people incorrectly assume their organs will only be used for transplants. It's not the state's problem that you couldn't be bothered to use Google before agreeing to something. Using an organ for an educational display is completely reasonable. Especially if there was something wrong with it or, the opposite, it's in great shape. It wasn't great that the owner of the brain was revealed, but that's not what they were suing over
So you’re telling me that 10 year old little Jenny went missing for a week, police and citizens alike combed the area and still couldn’t find her, suddenly shows ALIVE and no one questioned how she managed to survive that time by herself?! That alone should’ve caused suspicion since I doubt little Jenny was exactly survival expert to have survived a week by herself
I have a feeling that one guy was taking that little girl in the woods to kill her and if that boy didn't go to use the restroom I do not think she would still be alive js
I actually think it was much darker than that... I think he kept her for a week to brainwash her with whatever godforsaken acts he committed into keeping his secret.... Christ, that story really set a bad tone for my day.
I just want to say I follow a few story tellers on here. And you're definitely my #1 I absolutely love the way you're voice sounds while you tell the stories and how you get into character by sounding surprised or tired. Thank you for being so good at what you do. It's appreciated 👏🏻
For the brain story, I’m on the states side, like the boy was a organ donor, if anything it’s more disrespectful that his parents ignored his wishes after death and tried getting it back even though again, he decided to be a organ donor…
Agree As a organ donor my self I’d be pretty pissed if someone sued a more for having my organs cuz they want to put them in a grave like I’d rather be a specimen in a lab helping science than just going to wast in the ground
I think the judge was right in the second story. So what you saw some kids brain? If you can't handle visiting the morgue, that's on you! It's GOOD that schools can offer such programs. Weeds out the squeamish people who don't have the stomach for it. Don't take those educational opportunities away from people who aren't so mentally weak!
Story 3: Why are people so selfish when it comes to these situations? That guy should have been put into prison or worse for what he did to that poor little girl. He probably tormented her until he died and I know she’s probably extremely messed up from it. Ughhhh it just makes me so mad
"I have a strong sense of morality" he said. yeah no dude you're just a coward. He had no problem telling his friends but didn't tell his mom or the cops? Come on. Coward.
In story 2 there's something I don't understand, and it's probably something specific to me. Why did the family want his brain back so bad? I mean he was an organ donor right? And since he's an organ donor his organ go wherever, be it to a patient or sitting on a shelf in a preservative. What his family did, to me, seems like it goes against the kids wishes. If I was an organ donor and my brain was used as a sample like that and my family tried to take it back it would seem disrespectful to me. If you're an organ donor your organs go wherever, and you can't complain if it ends up in a jar or wherever it does.
The parents whose daughter went missing during the safari field trip both tried to stay at work while their daughter was missing? Yeah, I don't think so.
And then dad didn't answer his cell phone when his wife was robo dialing him because he didn't want a ticket? I call BS. However if it is true, those are horrible people.
Story 3: The fact that Cutter got away with this is 100% Jenny's parents' fault! Their daughter was lost in the woods for how long? Aaand it didn't dawn on either of them to take her to the hospital to get a once over after she was finally found? Even if they did figure she was *physically* fine...wouldn't a good parent assume that being lost in the woods was pretty traumatic & get her a couple of therapy sessions? Either one of those options shoulda, coulda, woulda proven what happened eventually. Her parents are garbage.
Wonder why all the adults in this story were so slow...maybe they were all related and that is why their brains weren't wired like most of us would hope or expect🤨
OKAY in the Safari story, why the devil didn’t the parents go look for their daughter at the park immediately? If someone told me my kid was lost I’m dropping everything to go look for them at that second. On another note, great video. These stories were interesting. Good job!
i love how he was so angry but also couldnt give a f to know where the field trip was before the incident. hes probably one of those who cant even tell you his child's shoe size, birth day, or most of the important stuff you'd need at doctors offices.
That dad didn't seem like a great dad. I bet he was more of the self-absorbed, "business comes first" types. I wouldn't be surprised if his kid is estranged from him now.
Thank u I’m listening to this one now and he is at the point where he’s driving home and avoiding a bunch of phone calls because ugh it could be bad news.. 🤬🤬 wtf if it’s something important, what if ur needed or she’s being sent to a hospital!! If I’d be answering every damn call what a weenie of a dad
@@LiberDBell In most cases, yes. But, this guy was in high school. Unless he was 18, it is up to his parents to decide (in most states). You can register as young as 13, though it's still up to the parents.
See, story 2 is why when you decide to be an organ donor, you have to tell your family. Sit down and discuss it with them. If course it wasn't right that the lab mentioned who the brain belonged to; it's a privacy violation. See, you can talk about cases, but you can't give away identifying information about that case. And this story is an example of why. I told my family that I am registered with the province as an organ donor, and that doctors are welcome to take whatever they need to give someone else who might need it. Hey, I'm not going to be using it anymore. That might upset my family, but it is my choice.
technically , you don't have to tell your parents or really anyone . in the states that information is quite literally printed on your ids, my state puts it on the bottom of the id for everyone. you don't get to choose until age 18 i believe. so, if you live with your parents and hey sometimes ids get placed outside of bags etc, your parents can see your id clearly and can see you're a donor ... non donors have nothing on their ids so there's no possible way anyone can mix things up lol
they were dumb kids blinded by tv show ignorance. they don't know the full picture of how organs pile up whether its murder, accident, natural cause or organ donation. it is what it is.
that whole story was so extra. Like he talked about almost crying as if crying over your daughter being alive and not mauled to death by a lion is embarrassing. Most male POV stories always bring up crying, sadness amongst men as taboo. I don't have any male relatives so I guess I just find it weird how anti emotion men are lol
I doubt they'd use it in any other context then an online story. Besides, is it not better than _my_ wife? A disengenuos feminist could have a field day with that one. I'm surprised they haven't already.
@@alicequinn290 That just makes me suspicious of the story. I don't know a guy over 12 who'd be embarassed about that. I would've been bawling my eyes out.
The tone of that story was weird. The dude was so distraught over his daughter being missing, but homeboy didn't even know where his kid was at the time and was annoyed about being informed because "I don't handle that?" Doesn't sound like he's very involved in that kid's life at all. Also, was the daughter punished for just straight up running away during a field trip? That's an awful thing to do to your parents and teachers.
I noticed there was a short "oof" at the thank you ending. It made me realize how much work must go into every podcast you do. You'd really have to love it to keep doing it as well as you do. Plus you've got the perfect voice for it. I love hearing your voice at night when I can't sleep and listen to hours is these stories. We are all so grateful to you for your podcasts and stories. Sometimes I listen to the same story two or three times. Thank you so very much for all your hard work. You are really appreciated. God bless you and your family.
Story 2- I've only started listening and had to pause at the CSI remark.....as someone who studied Foresic Science, whilst it's so cool learning about all the techniques employed to solve a crime, it is not as glamorous as they make it out to be on CSI 🤣 Still, it is a really interesting subject and my favourite part was the practicals conducted in the lab, mock crime scene etc
Unpopular take for story 2. Having kids see their dead friend’s brain is terrible and traumatic but give the morgue the benefit of the doubt of not knowing that they attended the same highschool. Secondly, the state has every single right to take his brain, that’s what the deceased wanted. I understand it’s traumatic for the parents to not have their full son but it’s what he wanted to do with his body and they have no right to sue. I feel for the parents but it’s their kid’s choice and law
I was just thinking this, talking about how he isn’t a dummy like YEAH BUDDY YOU’RE THE BIGGEST ONE OF ALL! You could have said SOMETHING but chose not to smfh
Guy literally rambled on and on only to justify the coward he was and then ends the entire thing by not even letting us know what the aftermath was smfh
How does a group of teachers not guard the door of a dark room? Hopefully policies have changed since the girl in story one was kidnapped by her dad. The good thing is the fact that the glow in the dark bracelet, bought so that dad could find his daughter, actually caused the teacher to see the kid be taken and then led the cops to the dad who kidnapped his kid.
Beans on toast with bacon, egg, fried mushroons and onions. And put some cheese in those Beans, _Divine_ 😋 Edit I forgot hash browns, ham and sausages, coffee and tea
The brain story reminds me of an incident from my childhood. Our babysitter told my mom she wants to study medicine. My mom and dad are both doctors so she thought she'd do her a favor and get her a sneak peak because she had connections to the girl's "dream school". Girl ends up in an autopsy class and decides against medical school, too gross for her. My mom felt bad and the parents of the girl were kind of mad about it too 😂 Also: I'm sorry but that kid was an organ donor, it's ridiculous to sue.
erh so that second story... yeah the guy was an organ donor, so yes they can "legally butcher him and put his brain on display". he himself, the individual person it conserns, consented and agreed to that in life through proper legal channels. it basically couldn't be any more legal. also "my friend just died and iam not over it yet. lemme go on a field trip to the MORGUE, what could possibly go wrong?" then she gets upset and parents sues both the morgue AND school. um, what?.. so neither her nor the parents could had forseen that it might be upsetting, especially given the circumstances of the friend losing his life recently? ... remind me i can make a living by using a hammer to unflict self-injuries and then sue the hammer-making company and the store that sold me the hammer i guess?
Story 5 may just be a fictional story. I've seen too many movies where the parents lost their child due to their negligence - it's just different this time since it's the school's responsibility - though same logic, when dealing with kids, you shouldn't take your eyes off them. Also, why would they think of the worst case scenarios (of course that'd be part of it) instead of rushing to the place where their kid went missing?
Story 2 was trash because of the Victim family . They %100 wanted money because that’s not a solid case. The state doesn’t have to inform them what they son gave them permission to do
I can understand why a family would find importance in laying ALL of their son’s body to rest, even if he signed some of it away legally. I can understand them asking for it back. What I can’t understand is why they would also sue for money and include the school in their wrath even though they had several warnings and signed away their consent. I still feel bad for them but not as much after knowing that fact.
They story where The girl who got into the crash and seen her brother die was a friend of mine . Oh god she broke her neck and was in recovery for months . It was so sad.
N the second story…. Maybe people should consult their family on a decision like being an organ donor since not everyone will be okay with it. I do feel bad for the morgue though since they legit didn’t do anything wrong and were probably confused as to why they were getting sued.
@Nutcracker Fusion idk, it was just a suggestion💀 that’s why I said “maybe”. I was just saying people should tell their families and friends about donating their organs when they die just so their loved ones won’t be so confused or so they could maybe think about it more before doing it. You can talk about it and they can disagree but you can still go through with donating your organs, I never said that you can’t donate your organs without your family’s “ok”. At the very least tell them so they won’t be as surprised as the family in the story. It depends on how close you are with your family anyways, some families may not care about a sister, brother, etc donating their organs.
Hey friend yourself! Loved these stories! Good ole school daze!! U just might be in my walls. My brother asked me if I’m only listening to one person’s stories now? Lol. 😅. But yes I’m sure I am as I have tons of your content to listen too. I enjoy the way you narrate! Thanks
Seriously, saying it was totally irrational to be emotional and then to drop that he wanted to murder the teacher when she told him his daughter was lost? Psycho
@@ChrissiTee Bad genes. His daughter was old enough to know much better. At her age, children KNOW not to disappear, especially with field trips. Garbage genes, family of idiots.
Dude was a kid. 13, barely hit puberty. we should teach children that they're not going to blame children about adults, which is why they tend to be scared. they won't be believed. He thought he was going to be in trouble and not be believed which is all that children care about when they're young. Teach them otherwise.
Thank you so much for all the effort you put into these men. I have been listening to your channel since 2018 and the content progressively gets better with each upload. much love
The first story lol I would’ve gone after the kid instead of whispering to the teacher like what??? Yeah sure it wasn’t your student but like you see a man w a mask taking a kid and you don’t chase? I guess not everyone is as impulsive as I am. I’ll drop everything and help someone if I think they’re in danger.
He was armed. As much as I hate to say it, she did the best she could. If she would've could up to him, it could've endangered her or the rest of the kids.
Sureee you would. Let’s terrify an entire room of children, which would cause 100x more chaos, and run after an extremely dangerous man who you have no details about. Great critical thinking skills.
@@allisoncastle uhh up until recently I was an elementary school teacher and I wouldn’t just yell it out I’m not stupid but I definitely would go and do everything possible to save a child in my care. He might me more dangerous but a teachers job is to protect these kids. I don’t get why anyone has a problem with that.
the way the guy in the fifth story talks about his daughter being potentially lost is uncanny, I know everyone processes things differently but his discerptions were odd
Second story: absolutely agree with the state. This story just upset me. Like, he was an organ donor. These people sound clueless. Everything was done legally. Absurd...
The morgue story… the staff should’ve had a heads up from the school and relocated the boy’s brain . Most staffers are typically locals and they should’ve been aware that classmates were coming in. It’s all about sensitivity now.
The story about the organ donar...wow, that stupid family should be sued for trying to sue the school and morge over their sons decision to donate his organs. That's like me giving $1,000 to a charity at random, then my family and/or friends trying to sue the organization who ended up with that $1,000. Im not saying seeing the kids brain wouldn't be distressing, im saying if you think that's sue worthy you should be punched in the face by the long gavel of the court/law
The autopsy one was insane. If that boy signed up to be an organ donor then that means his dying wish was to be an organ donor. End of story. His parents took that away from him for their own selfish needs and wants.
As a mortician I just want to say we’re not these disgusting terrible people. Who do you think prepares your loved ones to allow you to say goodbye. We have to go to school, work very hard and earn a degree. We work grueling hours, put our own bodies through hell picking up decedents from place of death. We do it with care and respect. Most of us take pride in our work. And not to mention the stress it causes within our relationships. But it’s a career we choose and are passionate about.
When I was a child, my mom or oldest sister went on every single school field trip with me. I can't even imagine..then again, I'm a "stranger danger" baby so my mom was extra vigilant lol
the Safari Park story is so sus the way he so easily resigned to oh well she's dead, even stayed at work for a bit before coming home because he couldn't concentrate? All very weird reactions.
Grief and fear do weird things to the brain. Some people freak out, some people go on autopilot, some TRY to go on autopilot because they don't want to face it (which is what I think OP did), some just shut down.

Lucky you!
Nah I agree. People have to understand that unfortunately that's what that is. Your organs are used to save lives or be studied.
Also, they let their child go to a morgue and got surprised that it has organs
I think it was more a breach in confidentiality. His name shouldn't have been displayed on the jar...
It wasn't the sister, it was the boy's friend.
No brainer oops!
The brain in the jar was stupid. If his heart went to save a little girl would you sue to get it back?
Yeah, it was upsetting but the guy was an organ donor. He was good deeds even after his death.
@@simajayortiz6233 everything I mentioned went right over your head, kinda impressive.

Went to use the restroom? How quaint. He went for a piss in the woods.

For the brain story, I’m on the states side, like the boy was a organ donor, if anything it’s more disrespectful that his parents ignored his wishes after death and tried getting it back even though again, he decided to be a organ donor…
The only wrong the state did was revealing the identity of the owner of the brain. They should be sued for it.
Agree As a organ donor my self I’d be pretty pissed if someone sued a more for having my organs cuz they want to put them in a grave like I’d rather be a specimen in a lab helping science than just going to wast in the ground
Agreed!!!
No brainer 😁😃😅
@@notsureiL yea that is the only thing they did wrong but they label so they not get mix up with who’s is who’s
I think the judge was right in the second story. So what you saw some kids brain?

Weeds out the squeamish people who don't have the stomach for it.
Don't take those educational opportunities away from people who aren't so mentally weak!
Story 3: Why are people so selfish when it comes to these situations? That guy should have been put into prison or worse for what he did to that poor little girl. He probably tormented her until he died and I know she’s probably extremely messed up from it. Ughhhh it just makes me so mad

U R AWESOME, Thanks
The parents whose daughter went missing during the safari field trip both tried to stay at work while their daughter was missing? Yeah, I don't think so.
Yeah, they were not incredibly concerned it seemed like. Dad wouldn’t even answer his phone!!
Exactly. They’re not that concerned
And then dad didn't answer his cell phone when his wife was robo dialing him because he didn't want a ticket? I call BS. However if it is true, those are horrible people.
Thanks so much for the entertainment! It’s been a slow weekend! And I really needed it!
Yeah, all the plot holes highlight that this is a fictional account.
Good job!

If I’d be answering every damn call what a weenie of a dad
Story 2 is so dumb. He's an organ donor, absolutely no wrong was done.
I think the family was expecting the organs to be for a living recipient to save lives. Being donated to science is entirely a different issue.
@@Brian30607 except that's the dead persons choice that they made, not the families say
@@LiberDBell In most cases, yes. But, this guy was in high school. Unless he was 18, it is up to his parents to decide (in most states). You can register as young as 13, though it's still up to the parents.
I think it was more a breach in confidentiality. His name shouldn't have been displayed on the jar...
👍
Thank you! For someone who needs an organ like I do and is put on a list to wait. Thank you for donating your organs! Much love to you! ❤
technically , you don't have to tell your parents or really anyone . in the states that information is quite literally printed on your ids, my state puts it on the bottom of the id for everyone. you don't get to choose until age 18 i believe. so, if you live with your parents and hey sometimes ids get placed outside of bags etc, your parents can see your id clearly and can see you're a donor ... non donors have nothing on their ids so there's no possible way anyone can mix things up lol
they were dumb kids blinded by tv show ignorance. they don't know the full picture of how organs pile up whether its murder, accident, natural cause or organ donation. it is what it is.
Dudes who call their spouse “the wife” are not to be trusted.
that whole story was so extra. Like he talked about almost crying as if crying over your daughter being alive and not mauled to death by a lion is embarrassing. Most male POV stories always bring up crying, sadness amongst men as taboo. I don't have any male relatives so I guess I just find it weird how anti emotion men are lol
😂😂😂

Story 2- I've only started listening and had to pause at the CSI remark.....as someone who studied Foresic Science, whilst it's so cool learning about all the techniques employed to solve a crime, it is not as glamorous as they make it out to be on CSI 🤣
Still, it is a really interesting subject and my favourite part was the practicals conducted in the lab, mock crime scene etc
I love the stories each one different and I love listening to them it helps me fall a sleep and I listen to them through out the day too
Unpopular take for story 2.

My mom felt bad and the parents of the girl were kind of mad about it too 😂
Also: I'm sorry but that kid was an organ donor, it's ridiculous to sue.
erh so that second story... yeah the guy was an organ donor, so yes they can "legally butcher him and put his brain on display". he himself, the individual person it conserns, consented and agreed to that in life through proper legal channels. it basically couldn't be any more legal.
also "my friend just died and iam not over it yet. lemme go on a field trip to the MORGUE, what could possibly go wrong?" then she gets upset and parents sues both the morgue AND school. um, what?.. so neither her nor the parents could had forseen that it might be upsetting, especially given the circumstances of the friend losing his life recently?
... remind me i can make a living by using a hammer to unflict self-injuries and then sue the hammer-making company and the store that sold me the hammer i guess?
Story 5 may just be a fictional story. I've seen too many movies where the parents lost their child due to their negligence - it's just different this time since it's the school's responsibility - though same logic, when dealing with kids, you shouldn't take your eyes off them. Also, why would they think of the worst case scenarios (of course that'd be part of it) instead of rushing to the place where their kid went missing?
L's theme started playing in my head when he came up with the glowing bracelet theory that became true.
Story 2 was trash because of the Victim family . They %100 wanted money because that’s not a solid case. The state doesn’t have to inform them what they son gave them permission to do

Those dislikes are disrespectful
I can understand why a family would find importance in laying ALL of their son’s body to rest, even if he signed some of it away legally. I can understand them asking for it back. What I can’t understand is why they would also sue for money and include the school in their wrath even though they had several warnings and signed away their consent. I still feel bad for them but not as much after knowing that fact.
That 2nd story is quite wholesome really. They got to visit their friend again.
They story where The girl who got into the crash and seen her brother die was a friend of mine . Oh god she broke her neck and was in recovery for months . It was so sad.
Thankyou Joel you’re amazing 😊🖤
Your voice is just ugh *chefs kiss*
It isn't the family's choice though, it was HIS choice and he already made it. It was disrespectful to him and his wishes for his family to do that.

The story about the organ donar...wow, that stupid family should be sued for trying to sue the school and morge over their sons decision to donate his organs. That's like me giving $1,000 to a charity at random, then my family and/or friends trying to sue the organization who ended up with that $1,000.
