How exciting to get some Corgi cars for yourself! It's nice to find things you can enjoy. In 1984 the first Cabbage Patch Kids started being sold. My husband worked at a retail store and all the employees pre-purchased the dolls before they went on the shelves. We got one. I bet that's why they were so hard to get. 😉
That was amazing,Alex! The Corgi cars for yourself were a fantastic find! I love the Coca Cola box,I think it can be used as a tray. Ofcourse the tins and the coins were really good finds too..and the Noritake tea set is Lusterware..love love love it. No swan in the lake though, that’s a shame. It would have been worth more. Still I simply adore Lusterware.😍
My MIL waited in line to get my son a CB doll in 1984. I have a Prime Albert can and a tin, without bar codes, because my last name is Albert. That teapot is gorgeous. The finish on the top color is called lusterware.
Yhe Datsun 240 brought back memories of my friends 240Z. She had just been married and her husband bought it for her befored he was deployed to Viet Nam. Color was that pumpkin orange. I think it was 1970. We were both 21. Those were the days. Btw her husband was one of the lucky ones. He made it home.
I met my husband in 1985. At the first gathering I spent with his family, his then 9-year-old niece had a cabbage patch doll that looked just like me with red hair and glasses.
In my time we used to physically look up random numbers out of the phone book . Our thing was : Good evening sir /mam. I’m from the Westinghouse Corporation and we’re doing a survey on fridges . We’d then ask if their fridge was running . They’d answer yes . Then we’d say “well you better catch it then “. 😂😂😂
My mother in law MADE all the grands a cabbage patch doll, using the child’s first outfit and had to look like them, mine both had tracheotomy’s so she put a button hole in the neck for my girls❤❤❤❤
Neatly labeled and undamaged boxes are always a good sign. I knew the Corgi cars would find a home with you. At least for a while 😅. It pays to visit Mom.
I'm in the UK and couldn't get a Cabbage Patch doll for each of my 3 daughters in the mid 80's. My Auntie who lived in Banff had no problems getting the dolls. It was cheaper for me to have my Auntie buy and ship them to me in time for Christmas.
Love the thought those Corgi's were just in storage, waiting for you to come along and enjoy them. I got excited for a nano-second when I saw Corgi on the box too. Sadly, there where no puppies in there! Love your tie ❤🌼💮🌺❤
Speaking of jokes, I would call the neighbor and say "Is your refrigerator running? They would reply yes. I would reply by saying, well you better go catch it. Great video Alexander good to see you are still at it. Take care,🤠👍✌ my friend.
So funny, I just saw another youtuber, Matt Carriker, finding one of those prins Albert tins when he was digging out a cave 😅😍 that one was in a very bad shape
You inspired me to create my own channel of collectibles and adventures. Wacky packages, vintage marbles, football cards, I show some items you located! ❤
No offence Alex, but my favourite videos are of you buying vintage/antique items, buying a whole home plus contents . I guess that’s why I started watching your channel . I do hope you get that deal from that production company . Oh, I also enjoyed you renovating the older houses, and the new build on your own home .
Very interesting Corgi find.. love all the cared-for things you brought back to show.. Auctions are the Worst possible way to sell your treasures.. SAD..
Interesting stuff you found . I remember the Cabbage Patch wars when my daughter wanted that for Christmas . I got one through Sears Catalogue. Love the china . Glad you found cars for you collection >Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤
My dad worked at Sears when they came out. He was able to get a Cabbage Patch doll for my mom. Other employees helped him get one for my sister and one for me. I’m 70 and still have Deva Elizabetha!
I guess there is some Noritake that gets high dollar resells. But Noritake produced a ton of porcelain dishware and there's still a lot of it out there. As a part-time reseller, I've come across bits and pieces of it over the years and have my mom's 6 piece place setting set and some serving pieces, that I love. Noritake did make high quality, beautiful wares, for sure, but I never found that the "sold for" prices were all that great or what I thought they would be. And maybe some patterns will fetch more than others or certain singular pieces like the hand-painted teapot you have could be high. But maybe your experience will be better...I hope so. 👍
We used to flatten them out and nail them to a 1x2 and push wagon wheel metal hubs up and down the road. Oh my, and this was in the early 70s. My dad smoked velvet pipe tobacco.
I remember those phones. Knew someone that had a Budweiser one in the '80's. Love the old Coke case idea. I have one of those but mine has wood dividers in it. Thinking about using it as a display case for some of my Coke ornaments. You got a lot of nice stuff, especially the cars you love. It sure paid to visit Mom that day.
That tea pot set is Lusterware that is the shine on it. Great little set too bad it is missing the sugar and creamer dishes to go with it. But still very beautiful. Have a great day
OMG, Matt Carriker found old Prince Albert can on his newest video. I mean it was in a cave, so it was barely identifiable... But cool how life lines up like this sometimes.
Calling Nitrous Diecast! This girl, superannuated, prefers the cars to Cabbage Patch dolls and always has. Always preferred Uncle Albert to Prince Albert too, but my pastor is a Beatles nut so...
Great find Alex!! Enjoy!

What a great haul! Fun and interesting video
And here I thought corgies were dogs! Learn something new every day!
I have an original Cabbage Patch doll with the box. I also have a ceramic Cabbage Patch doll.
Omg, I'm freaking out about the JPS 1:18 scale race car. I wanted one badly.
When I saw you open the box with the teacups my first thought was you don't have to match up the cups and saucers. They were packaged so carefully.
Alexander! That tie you're wearing....very stylish!
Everything was in such pristine condition
Cabbage Patch kids always bring me bittersweet memories.

Great Corgi haul!
Oh my, I love the teapot!
Thank's Alex ! For this great video !
It’s the most excited Alex has been since finding that perfect porcelain sign at the back of a barn lol 😂
I forget what it was of which is shameful for a long time watcher. Was it an early The Bay sign?
I love your unboxing episodes! The best part is how happy and excited you get. You are a very special person. Thanks for the smiles and fun.😊❤
oh my you are young ! I graduated in 76 ! to funny

ALEX, Like the shirt, tie & vest look! Very dapper looking!
I met my husband in 1985. At the first gathering I spent with his family, his then 9-year-old niece had a cabbage patch doll that looked just like me with red hair and glasses.
I love your finds and I love that you share with us!❤
You really got some great items. The "Prince Albert in a can" joke is old old😀. I am 81 and that was one of my favorite jokes back then!!
Sir, You must have a different point of view to all these items, so much knowledge. I am only 49 and some videos have stuff from my childhood
In my time we used to physically look up random numbers out of the phone book . Our thing was : Good evening sir /mam. I’m from the Westinghouse Corporation and we’re doing a survey on fridges . I grew up in Prince Albert, Western Cape, South Africa.
My mother in law MADE all the grands a cabbage patch doll, using the child’s first outfit and had to look like them, mine both had tracheotomy’s so she put a button hole in the neck for my girls❤❤❤❤
When i saw Corgi in the the picture I thought what could have Alex found with dogs! 😂
Yes, I remember the fights over the cabbage patch kids! I handmade them and sold them for $65.00 each back then!
I can imagine the unbridled joy on Alex's kids' faces when they get those globes set in discoloured acrylic...
You weren’t even born when those corgi’s went into storage. Yes Alex they have been waiting for you. That’s awesome.
I couldn't figure out why you were so excited about dog toys - I've never heard of the Corgi brand of toys, obviously! LOL
😂😂😂 it’s almost like the Queen packed up her dogs 😊
I was imagining how disappointed he would be if that were the case. However I would've gotten a huge laugh out of it. 😂
I was thinking the same thing.
Yea, corgi, what?
Yeah, I was here for the dogs!
If I'm not mistaken, that first magazine in the binder is from the ALBERTA Oiles, the hockey team that never came to be.
Great picks! W T G ! Mary in Florida! Good for you! Great you found some great cars to add to your collection too! And coins also! 🤔😁😎🌴💖💖💖😉🏎🏍♥️😁

Lucky find. A nice treat after a nice visit with your Mom!!!
Looks great !! Love the cool items .. cool scores !
Alexander, I absolutely love your sense of humor!

Love your tie ❤🌼💮🌺❤
I love unboxing videos And you are so funny.
Love the unboxing video!! The small fishing set was really cool!! ❤❤❤
Speaking of jokes, I would call the neighbor and say "Is your refrigerator running? They would reply yes. I would reply by saying, well you better go catch it. Great video Alexander good to see you are still at it. Take care,🤠👍✌ my friend.
That was a great haul! So fun that you found some things in great condition for your own collection.
The beer can telephone is something I never ever heard of and I was born in 1969. Very cool haul
Thanks Alex!
I think the PEI dollar in that 1973 set is not silver, but the RCMP dollar at the top is.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets excited about minty toys!
All dressed up 😊
So funny, I just saw another youtuber, Matt Carriker, finding one of those prins Albert tins when he was digging out a cave 😅😍 that one was in a very bad shape
Noritake china is hit or miss...might do okay, might not! Sold (or attempted to sell) a lot of it over the years...
I had a few Corgi cars as a kid in UK but I didn't know they were available in north America.
1976 ... I was a senior in high school! I am a NASCAR and racing fan in general so loved the cars!
You inspired me to create my own channel of collectibles and adventures. Wacky packages, vintage marbles, football cards, I show some items you located! ❤
Barcode UPC did start till 1974 the first item to have the code printed on the package was Wrigley's gum!
Nuts! Had my eye on one of those globes! It's good that your kids will like them. My vintage globe collection runneth over.
Totally not joking. When he said corgi toys I automatically thought dog toys. 😂

LOL they still use those Trolleys at the Via Rail Station in Winnipeg.
Very interesting Corgi find.. love all the cared-for things you brought back to show.. Auctions are the Worst possible way to sell your treasures.. SAD..
Fine, fine fine fine great
Great video. I can't help to notice that you're talking more and more like Adam West when he played Batman LOL
We certainly did enjoy the enjoyment that the Cabbage patch dolls brought. Wow.
He is So exited about toys!
Love it when people 'undersell' like that :)
Interesting stuff you found . I remember the Cabbage Patch wars when my daughter wanted that for Christmas . I got one through Sears Catalogue. Love the china . Glad you found cars for you collection >Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤

My great Aunt put a couple rocks in it and It was a rattle.

Awesome again 🎸🎸🎸🎸
I've got most of those F1 cars Inc the big jps lotus & the matching Marlborough McLaren.
You really look sharp today Alex. Great finds.

Always enjoy the finds you share😁 and amazed with every video from your garage - amazed there is no dust, cobwebs, etc.😁😁😁
Blue "iridescent" glaze is Blue Lustre. I think your value estimate is a tad steep...
Love the cars and coins! The hockey magazines are amazing. Would love to look through them! Great score!
We used to flatten them out and nail them to a 1x2 and push wagon wheel metal hubs up and down the road. Oh my, and this was in the early 70s. My dad smoked velvet pipe tobacco.
Ugh❣️. I graduated in 1976😃 🤗💖🦋

Daiwa rods and reels are excellent!

I love teapots❤
Thanks Alex, nice finds ❤

The Noritake is lusterware type.
It was the WHA not the WHL Alex. I went to a couple of Toronto Toro games,,way back when!
I remember seeing some of the real versions of these racing at Mosport
Calling Nitrous Diecast! This girl, superannuated, prefers the cars to Cabbage Patch dolls and always has. Always preferred Uncle Albert to Prince Albert too, but my pastor is a Beatles nut so...
I thought the Corrie’s were dogs. Couldn’t figure out what corgi toys. What do I know. Learned something new today.
I forgot that you make videos about collectibles
The Noritake set is quite old. Likely from the 20s or 30s
Bev Doolittle art was highly collectible. Not sure what price it brings now. Mom has a book that was published with her art. The price went crazy.
I have her two Indian horses painting on my wall. I love it.
Great video
❤
My cousin and I use to make the prank call about Prince Albert in the 60's&70's.
Alexander,
Nice finds!.
Are you going to use the back building if you do a major cleanout?
Cheers,
Rik Spector
Man I want that cabbage patch so bad!!!!
wonder why cars are always packaged with the left side on show
