You are pinned down at your base from the start. You have to hold out until Fenix arrives to meet up with him.
Reavers are long range siege units. Though powerful with ground attack and without friendly fire, they are generally very slow and vulnerable. Their ammo, Scarabs, costs 15 minerals each.
