MechWarrior Online is a free-to-play vehicular combat video game, officially launched during September 2013 by Piranha Games for Microsoft Windows. The game takes place within the larger #BattleTech universe. In MechWarrior: Online, players takes the role of aMechWarrior who pilots large bipedal combat vehicles known as BattleMechs (Mech for short). Players can customize their BattleMech with an array of weapons and equipment, and engage in 12 versus 12 battles, the outcome of which earns the players experience and c-bills for future BattleMech purchases and customization. 2:40 The sheer amount of invisible walls in this game is why I'm currently taking a long extended break from this game. It's just maddening. Great carry in any event!!
I remember I was cruising around on Solaris City in a Jenner one match supporting my teammates with locks and whatnot. At one point i hit the jets and flew into the air. I was looking straight forward, though I was somewhat close to a wall I was in third person so no part of my mech was touching anything. I smacked straight into an invisible wall extending out from a building and came to a dead stop, and then some guy on the other team shot my face through my ass. I was mad at the invisible wall.
It's especially maddening when you understand how extremely simple and fast this is to fix. Like why PGI doesn't fix this is just beyond me. It's not even laziness, it's as if they were taunting the playerbase. And there are a lot more issues in the game like that.
@@osiris4457 It's probably because there's only one developer working on the maps, and they probably have 10 other jobs to do as well.
In software I tend to see these problems a lot, and it's almost always someone getting overworked and the task being too much for one person so they can't actually devote the time and resources needed to fix something.
@@osiris4457 I have a hard time explaining it to myself other than all these annoying things were put there on purpose just to psychologically torture people.
In my opinion all the crap on the ground that mechs refuse to step over are a bigger problem than invisible walls.
do you use a mouse with a dpi switch when you go sniper mode? I have a hard time keeping my mouse stable when I zoom in.

Damn that muzzle flash is horrible.
one point for the DWF. There is no muzzleflash from the canons in the side torsos. With the same setup. DWF with UV-arms do this all time. C-UAC2 or C-LBX2 :) the only thing i hate is, the rhino can play 4x C-LBX20. The DWF not. to less slots in the side-torsos -.-
Any chance for a Cicada 3M build with some of the new weapons?
Edit: Originally said X5, meant 3M. Woops.
Thanks! The X5 can only run energy and missiles, so that would mean Thunderbolt missiles and I don't see any viable build that would make use of the new weapons. SRM/Lasers is an option that would probably work well, or something with Light PPCs and SRMs.
@@TTBprime You're totally right, I'm having a brain fart... what's the variant that has ECM, a ballistic slot, and a couple energy hardpoints? That's the one I'm thinking of... was curious if any of the new ballistics/lasers would pair well on it.
