Imagine how all those LRM's would have looked back in the MWO Beta days when LRM's really did "act" like a swarm of angry bees..
I was playing Mechwarrior 2 on Mplayer 24 years ago. I built a Dire Wolf mech that carried over 100 LRMs, all fire-linked. Firing a salvo introduced so many polygons into the game that it would cause lag for everyone in the match. The thing was so slow it required at least two teammates to provide cover. It was an instant overheat shutdown when it was fired, and an instant kill if it connected. Practically useless but definitely the most fun mech I ever built.

Let me add some LRMS on that LRMS side by side with the LRMS.

Canopus cat has an amazing setup.
I keep a joystick on hand, and throw it on MW5 sometimes for nostalgia (MW2/GBL, MW3, MW4) but for MWO or any PvP situation I need the mouse for that split second reaction that a Joystick can't match comfortably. Even on Ace Combat 7, the mouse is better for that pin point aiming
Honestly I should treat MW5 like that

This is one of my fav builds on the Stone Rhino. I own them all...even the Aksum....best money I ever spent...Rhinos for the win!!!
I love them, but man is there a lot of salt over them in game.
@@Khyridit's understandable. They're overtuned and will continue to be so until they stop being real money only mechs, and then get nerfed so they can push sales of the next mech release to squeeze out more money.
