We love the rime otter the same way my dad loves me: he didn't know I exist until recently
EDIT: THIS IS A JOKE MY DAD IS GREAT
Sorry man. 😭

Alrighty. :D
😂!!! Great one dude!
*Sir Pentious puppy dog eyes* Son???
Because we can BEARly contain our enthusiasm for something both deadly and as cute as an Otter!
Also, it’s a 55 ton Warhammer, which is cool!
The cockpit windows kinda look like a face, when combined with the "grill" underneath
It's just a happy otter.
One of the few MASC equipped mechs I truly like. The C variant is my øksman of choice for implanting an øks into the faceplates of opposing mechs. Hitting the supercharger / MASC for a surprising burst of speed to get into melee unexpectedly can shock and terrify enemies who have never seen this mech before. And the Jump Jets make mobility excellent.
Is it wrong I still want to add 3x Myomar to get more effect from the øks?
The Prime is useful, and has proven itself deadly for me in the past. I like to leave one back with the fire support units for defending them against lights. Again that speed boost from MASC will ruin a light's day when they think they got away clean after a high speed pass.
I hope some day we get more lore on the birth of the Rasalhague Dominion.
It's a setting that could make a good story.
Dumb Ghost Bears, all hatchet armed battlemechs should have TSM, not MASC.
Heh.
"by 3054, the efforts were starting to *bear* fruit"
i see what u did there, frog
There had to be at least one bear pun in it.
@@MechanicalFrog it was well placed sir
@@MechanicalFrog That's just ursanine
What is the warship at 4:12? I don’t recognize it, some kind of yard ship?
@@Eulemunin it is an Enterprise-Class WarShip, and I believe the illustration is on page 66 of ComStar. The design was a failed Star League attempt at a supercarrier, and could not move due to its immense size-sort of like a space Matar.
Never heard of it, but if it comes with clan tech and an axe- SOLD!
Go forth and axe things.
@@MechanicalFrogI hear and obey
I am frankly astounded at the sheer amount of information control the Ghost Bears managed to achieve in keeping their neighbors in the dark regarding them moving house.
A rather amazing accomplishment.
Helps they had Snow Raven retrofit some ships in secret as they're the only ones that knew what was going on!
One of the perks of being careful and deliberate is that your detractors can mistakenly view you as risk-averse and predictable. If one were to ask the clans about which one of them was most likely to orchestrate a secret reverse Exodus back to the Inner Sphere, I’d bet the Ghost Bears would be near the bottom of that list.
Everyone focuses on the Bear part of the Ghost Bears and forgets the other. As Kerensky intended.
For real though, that's some Operation Overlord lead in misdirection.
Really liking the new background. Every day I’m just a little more blown away at how many different mech designs there are. CGL has a nearly endless supply of designs they could convert to plastic. There’s something really appealing to “slab-faces” mechs. Those mechs that have that big square front profile. Makes them look tough.
There are so many great mechs out there. I hope I can cover them all some day.
Recently converted a friend to MWO, and Megamek, that was the first thing he noticed, the rugged look of BT's mech and how cool it makes them look and different from the usual nimble mecha you see in the big anime
The style has ebbed and flowed over the years but overall, BattleTech mechs have trended toward the heavier and more substantive look. And that's a good thing.
“Why do we love the Rime Otter?”
I didn’t even know this thing existed.
And now you know...
Lime was an ok flavor of Otter Pop, but I liked cherry better.
Not Lime? Rime? Like that bonus age in that one Myst Remake? I don't remember seeing any otters there.
I no longer know what is going on.
Rasalhague has always been my favorite IS punching bag.
The old heads and lore addicts have seen this place rise and fall and fall and rise many times.
Also the Rime Otter has been on my to try list for a long time, this video has moved up the timetable.
Glad to hear it. I'm looking forward to giving that reinforced structure a thorough wholloping.
When I saw the A I thought "that's like a griffin but fit for the 32nd century". Better range, more durability and better damage at range. But instead of struggling to hit you inside 90m its suite of weapons is supplemented by an entire mouthful of SRMs.
I really like the Rime Otter, but would love it if it were just a Battlemech in that configuration.
Gotta love Ghost Bear mech design. No weird frills just function.
And we like it that way.
The Bears have some really nifty designs. Let's see if they rise from their torpor in the later stages of the IlClan era. 🐻❄️
Yes I hope they recover from their little civil conflict quickly.
@@MechanicalFrog looking forward to that drak campaign after smashing have our touman.....💩
@@MechanicalFrog I feel the wrong side won that civil war.
The C config is definately for the Kungsarme, the 3rd Drakons modified thier mechs to have hatchets
Definitely.
I really liked the bit of region history + Mech combo👍
It started out as a short 12 min vid but just grew and grew as I fell down the Dominion rabbit hole.
@@MechanicalFrog By all means dive down more holes!👍 I’d also never heard of the ‘Kamakiri’ (praying mantis)…I thought it must be some Drac Mech I’d not encountered, so rushed off to Sarna and MasterUnitList only to find out it’s a rather cool VTOL….but no model yet🙁 I’ll have to convert something🤔
delightfully goofy little guy with a belly cockpit
It just wants a cuddle.
Oh jeez, I just noticed the MekFrog armor breakdown. That's awesome.
Always fun when people notice the little things. :D
I just saw that now!😂
Teach me teacher man!
Well bargained and done.
Considering I'm a fan of the Grizzly, it shouldn't be a surprise I like this one. Out of the official variants, it's the C that appeals to me, and my mixed tech Rime Otter ISM reflects that.
Using Clan tech for the most part, it switches from MASC to a supercharger and TSM combo. It has 5 improved jump jets, so it now has a movement profile of 5(6)/8(12)/8. For weapons ,it has a hatchet in the left arm modeled after those carried by ancient Vikings. It has an ER Large Laser along with a Small Pulse Laser in the right arm, and a Medium red engineered Laser in each side torso. It also carries an additional half ton of armor.
Solid build.
Thanks for the video!
I think the difficulty maintaining the Rime Otter comes from its development out of the also-difficult-to-maintain Grizzly chassis (hence the similar appearance), along with the related Mastodon-all three share the same issue, though the newer ones are at least rugged to compensate for it
Happy to do it. Good point on the Grizzly lineage.
"Few can match our might in battle, and fewer still can claim our victories-"
*from the back* EXCEPT CLAN WOLF OHHHHHHHHHHHH
That's a fun looking mech.
A little more function over form, but I dig that.
*watchs video* Ok, so its a 55-ton Grizzly, minus the slatting plates that made the Grizzly a bane of Armor Replacement SubTechs... Ok, I'm sold.
**Cash register noises**
The Space Teddy Bears are the best. Just don't ask them to vote on anything, things tend to get very complicated when that happens.
I immediately loved the Clan Ghost Bear when I first saw the ad for the mw2 expansion when I was a kid.. never got a chance to play MechWarrior 2 and the expansions. But now as an old geezer I'm so happy I'm able to experience the Battletech franchise fully.
Rime Otter.... Underwater thrusters, it becomes what lurks under the ice. No one expects a cute little hunter from below the water.
Honestly, the Dark Ages were badly written, and everything afterward suffers from not only a weak foundation but by being made by the same folks. No where is the illLore most obvious than the Dominion.
No one expects the Rime Otter... *BAM*
As much as I love hearing about popular mechs like the Crusader and Shadow Hawk, Its videos like this that have me discoving some of my new favorite mechs. Thank you for making my Battletech journey that much better by bringing to light more of the less well known mechs and stories out there.
It's important to me that we cover the spectrum from popular classics to new stuff. It's healthy for the IP and community to stretch our comfort zones.
We love the otter like a disowned sibling.
We know it exsists, but we try to forget it.
(This message is sponsored by the Centurion and Hunchback gang.)
Hah!
My very first clan pilot was a Ghost Bear piloting a Grizzly. The Rime Otter looks like a worthy successor to that totem. And I really like your MF pod set. I might have to give that one a try.
I'd like to know how it does, should you decide to give it a go.
I miss the retcon'd History where the bandit caste took over the Pirate Kingdoms and held them against the Scorps, Bears and Horses.
Cant wait to try this on the fields of battle.
Thanks for being here Mechfrog. You're my hero❤
Thanks for giving the video a go. The nonsense must flow!
I wish the Dominion got more attention. It's such a potentially fascinating piece of the setting that just seems to have largely been glossed over.
After Dominions Divided, Maybe they need less attention. :(
I could see the 'D' configuration being used as the Scout/spotter for heavy Stars and Cluster's. It's better than wasting a point on some useless 40 tonner.
13 hexes being "slightly less than terrifying"... i dunno about the 'less' part, yikes!
I'm not a Clanner... But if I were, seems like I might be a Ghost Bear.
A comparatively good place to be.
About successfull Clan-IS hybrid states. What about the Scorpian Empire? While problematic at start I thought they also worked it out.
We'll see on the Scorpion Empire. I hope we get more info on them soon.
@@MechanicalFrog Yah, I am still trying to catch up on everything. Clan Protectorate is also a hot topic I am quite interested in. Another Hypbrid state that is at a very critical point I think. A wild mix of FWL, Spirit Cats and Sea Fox. Torn between following the ilClan or staying with the FWL that hosted them?
Quite difficulte.
What's the difference between an "incident" and a "kerfuffle"? Why couldn't Tukkayid also be a kerfuffle?
Because saying Tukayyid doesn't make TH-cam angry at me.
@@MechanicalFrog Darn r@cist YT.
Huh, interesting name I would not have expected from the bears. Honestly sounds like a name fit for the Sea Foxes... but it is still a fine mech from the finest fusion state we don't want anything bad to happen too.
No bully bear.
@@MechanicalFrog And hopefully no bully Raven. Punch up at the lost wolves is good though.
Another mech I've never heard of, and a fascinating one.
I'm glad to be the one to introduce it.
I like the idea of a Rasalhague/Ghost Bear cross developed mech to embrace hatchets as armament given both factions have stron viking influence.
The MF version is surprising, no Plasma Rifles? You feeling ok today? The ATMs are a nice addition though.
And balance well with the laser loadout.
Can't do Plasma every time. :P
@@MechanicalFrog Did you donate yours today? XD
I should...
mmm love Otters, so cute so cuddly till you get them mad.
Yeah, don't make them mad. That's a bad plan.
This is one machine I scarcely knew even existed. That being said, it's a really interesting design that seems to be really competent and dangerous. I'd like to try it out someday...
I plan on trying it out soon. I want to see just how tough that reinforced structure is.
Really great stuff:) I am also surprised/impressed at the Bears stealth moving skills. A very impressive jack of all trades mech. I love that kind of build:)
(Btw, would pilot the MF build any day:) 👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video, dude! I've never played actual BattleTech, but I've played the MechWarrior games since PS1
Thanks! Well, maybe it's time to give the tabletop version a try?
That's a cool mech. I wish it weren't an omni, honestly. Either the A or B configs would make for a really useful high-tech Griffon substitute and the C is a badass brawler.
The Dominion is such a frustrating subject. They were probably due for a civil war because the society still seems to be in tension. I always wished that the Ghost Bears gave up a lot of the Clan trappings and were absorbed into the Rasalhague culture simply because of the numbers involved. Would be interesting for them to maintain their breeding programs and bloodnames for the warriors, but pretty much abandon the Nicholas-inspired ideology. Maybe the Draconis citizens would sign on to basically become Ghost Bears with time, but those Rasalhague worlds were always going to become the dominant culture and that should justifiably cause the Ghost Bears to shift over time.
This is a solid argument.
Great video, and nice to see the Rasalhague Dominion's history summarized so well. Definitely on of my favourites from the Rec Guides. Just a heads up, caste is pronounced "cast" because... English is terrible.
Glad you enjoyed it!
5/13 movement profile on the B and 8 LMG? same movement on the C plus a hatchet. D has 8 IJJ. This mech overall goes all in on mobility for most configurations, I love fast medium mechs, and this has "too angry to die" vibes.
I want to try it very much.
"Cool as a cucumber" omfg story time... I used that phrase once at my old workplace speaking to a dementia patient. All the rest of the unit staff heard me say that, and none of them knew it was a real phrase in usage. So everyone thought I was just talking nonsense BS back to the patient lol.
Anywho... awesome vid MF. Learned me about a new mech today. Thank you for all your hard work. Have you considered adding another member tier? I would strongly encourage it
One of my favorite phrases... :D
Not a bad idea. I've gone ahead and put the new tier into the system. We'll see if there is any interest.
With my favorite IS house being FRR, and my favorite clan being the Ghost Bears, I really enjoyed listening to more talk on the Clan Ghost Bear -> Ghost Bear Dominion -> Rasalhague Dominion transition. Also, this is my first time hearing about the Rime Otter, so thanks for that too.
Glad I could introduce it. :D
We don't. We don't even know it exists frankly. Anything made after the year 3050 might as well be fan fiction. The lore surrounding the events after the clan invasion is so mediocre that I doubt many people care.
Alrighty.
I do love me some history to go with the tech details.
Me too. :D
Why 3 tons LBX ammo not get CASE-II while half of mg ammo get that....😂
Shouldn't it be the other way around?
The ammo for the LB-10X is in the arm. Can't CASE II an arm. Just body locations.
I really love the Grizzly and now the Rime Otter, outstanding. I really wish it kept at least one or both hands (my only critique).
Fair critique.
ill have to read it but im not sure the whole civil war arch for the dominion checks out. i thought the whole son of the elected prince being Khan fixed most of the problems. Then again we are talking about little scandinavian space Afghanistan so i guess it checks out.
Yeah we'll see how things settle down here this year hopefully.
A 55 ton medium mech that can run as fast as a Locust AND has a hatchet? Bringing a big stick and being able to get into bonking range quickly does sound like fun!
What could go wrong?! :D
the MF config doesn't have a plasma cannon... who are you and what have you done with MechFrog?
Do not be afraid. All is well.
Could you do something on the Goliath Scorpion to Scorpion Empire transition. Seems wild.
I will very likely do so.
We love the Rime Otter because the Touman rejected the idea of calling it the Hip Hopopotamus
House rule on the name incoming...
Is it weird that this feels more like an Ice Hellion machine than a Ghost Bear one? Not that I’m complaining.
It would probably fit well in either Touman.
Oooh, another one I have never heard of!
I am ready!
Done dirty is an understatement.
Aff
While I do like having a Hatchet, I'd go with Claws instead. Gotta look the part.
Fair enough.
Not sure if I love this mech, but I've never used it so I'm gonna have to give it a whirl and find out. 👍
Please do!
way to expensive, but I like this design.
Yeh when it comes to Clan stuff... price is fun.
@@MechanicalFrog yeah pod space is a bit limited. I prefer designs with more options for dakka. First thing I saw with that design was a t-bolt or shootist. So a bodyguard for command and artillery units.
I love otters! If only there others named after the raccoon, kangaroo, squirrel and such
There is a dearth of amphibian-themed mechs.
I really liked Rashalhague, and the idea that there was a Republic in the setting. It was a shame to see it fall to the Clans. The Clans are too weird for me to get behind, but, if I'm being fair, Ghost Bear is the least weird, kinda... As for the Mechs, I wasn't familiar at all with this one, but my issue is that Clan Mechs all seem too "good". The thrill of trade-offs is missing. Yes, they are always out-numbered, but that isn't fun to me. The whole Clan "Thing" struck a sour note for me, I never got hooked, too weird, too unrelatable. Not trying to hate, still a good video, lots of stuff I didn't know. Keep up the good work.
The Rasalhague Dominion is one of the few democracies in the setting.
There is actually a tradeoff for Clan tech and mechs. COST. Clan tech is remarkably pricey, both in game and setting context. Forfet the exact numbers, but Tex's old video on the Madcat/Timber Wolf stated you could feild something to the tune of 30 Urbanmechs, or an entire lance of Warhammers for the in universe cost of 1 Madcat base model.
Even after all this time, I'm still not quite sure what "Operation Sneaky Sneak" means XD.
Otherwise, another exceptional video and I enjoyed the framing of the Rasalhague and Ghost Bear shared history.
It's a reference from an anime show called Girls Und Panzer. They come up with a crafty plan to defeat their opponents and name the plan, "Operation Sneaky Sneak."
@@MechanicalFrog Ah, I completely forgot about that! XD
Thanks
What no plasma rifles .......😂 u startin to slip mech 🐸 😅😅😅
Gotta keep you guessing.
Wait a minute, the MF version didn't have three plasma rifles on it 🙂?
Shocked and appalled.
They say humor is subjective, but I say a man named Forester in a mech with an Hatchet is objectively amusing. As is a man named Forester that works for Da Bears! 😃
"Forester" is a Ghost Bear bloodname. He is trueblood and a traditionalist, so no desire for melee combat.
@@jellico1238 The enemy is usually trying hard to deny you the combat you desire.
That cockpit glass placement is **Horrible.**
The stomach cockpit cannot hurt you...
The Stomach Cockpit:
Please my amphibious friend do the kodiak and the hammerhands
I'd like to cover at least the Kodiak soon.
DECAF BLEND?! Honor demands satisfaction! To the circle of equals!
Augmented or un-augmented?
@@MechanicalFrog *Caffeinated.*
While I appreciate the video I would hope that in the future we'd get dedicated videos on the factions instead of them being baked into mech videos.
I know that the societies that build mechs are good background and contextualising why they exist, but I think it could be good to see faction videos on their own to make looking up the lore easier for newcomers.
Yeh It's a bit of a sticky thing as mechs are clearly the driving motivation for many to click on a video. I do routinely do videos on planets and other things, but they tend not to perform as well.
@@MechanicalFrog Very much a shame since those are very much my favorite sort of video from you. It is very unique to see such great care and presentation given to sides of the setting that doesn't get as much attention as it deserves.
It really sparks the imagination for what sorts of worlds could be hiding out there among the stars after all.
I pronounced it Rash-o-log for the longest time.
My favorite thing about doing my videos is getting my pronunciation corrected.
Ive spent the last 5 days catching local frogs, none of them know anything about battletech. Clearly they are lying.
Most frogs will not communicate without a lawyer present. They know their rights.
@@MechanicalFrog imma have to keep a defense frog in a box
What a cool Mech!
Love the light application of new fancy tech.
Me too!
Sorry never heard of it
At least Forrester's first name isn't Jack. If it were, his callsign would be Lumberjack. At that point, he might as well go all in with the hatchet and start sporting a Jason mask or something.
Yeah we don't need to push him to the brink.
Hello Frog.
Love the video. But it does raise a question: 'What became of the outdated Mechs of the Ghost Bears?'
No doubts, the writers meant that all those Mechs were scrapped and their resources used to build other Mechs. But, I tend to dis-believe that. The shear work of melting down, rendering all the resources to basic components and then rebuilding would be a massive pain, and take many years of effort, if not decades.
It would seem to me that it would have been simpler to sell off the older Mechs to someone like Clan Sea Fox and purchase more resources using that funding. If this is indeed the case, then Mercenaries and others could buy those 'old' Clan Mechs for their own uses.
As for the Rime Otter design. It has some utility and use on the battlefield, and I can see a valid use for the design. Especially a couple of the variants of the Rime Otter Mech. Although not mentioned in your video, Some of the designs show real promise as deep penetration raider Mechs, or at least as the command Mech of such a deep penetration force. The C configuration especially.
I am surprised that you didn't design the MF variant to include a Plasma Rifle. Shocking, I know.
My Clan solution would be to keep the older mechs in service as garrison units, using them until they cannot function and then finally scrapping them for parts to repair the other existing models until they're all just junk.
@@MechanicalFrog : Yeah, I would agree with you, but the lore states that they just 'did away' with all their older Mechs. So, they must have either sold them all off, or just stripped them for parts. Breaking up the Internal Structures to repair other Mechs. My suggestion would still be 'faster' to accomplish... sell 'em off and build fresh with the funds to bolster your economy and building programs. As a player that is 'loyal' to my origins as a Mercenary Commander, I would love to get my hands on Clan Mechs 'on the cheap'. Even those being 'phased out' of a Clan's forces.
The Dominion went all in on the Republic's disarmament program.
Neat new stompy boys
Love the Rime Otter. Can’t wait to get this mini when they make it.
Same.
I like the Rime Otter. That LRM launcher kind of inspired me to re-flavor that torso as I fight with leftover tonnage. While putting my variant together. Here is what I have come up with.
Rime Otter - OZ
Weight: 55 tons
BV: 1,956 Cost: 12,665,115 C-bills
Movement: 5/8
Engine: 275 XL
Double Heat Sinks: 21 [42] HEAT: 44/42
Gyro: Standard Gyro
Structure/Armor: Internal: 91 (Endo-Steel) Armor: 172/185 (Ferro-Fibrous)
Weapons:
6x ER Med Lasers all in the RT
2x Large Chem Laser (Clan) with 2 tons 20 ammo for 10 shots for each Chem Laser in the LA and RA
I wanted to place Heavy Large Lasers, Large Pulse Lasers, or ER-PPCs into the arms. But the Heat Scale was not to my liking. So I have OP for Large Chem Lasers instead. However, I dislike Energy Weapons that have an ammo requirement but with 6 ER MED Lasers already. Large Chem Lasers just work here and brought the heat down to much more manageable levels. I see the Rime Otter as the better replacement for the Hunchback IIC. In the spirit of the old Hunchback. I have put in the Iconic 6 lasers in the RT. Some see the Iconic Hunchback with an AC/20. But I like it with the 6 med lasers. So I have made a AC/20 build as well but better.
Rime Otter - OZ-A1
Weight: 55 tons
BV: 3,491 Cost: 15,191,615 C-bills
Movement: 5/8(10) Engine: 275 XL
Double Heat Sinks: 11 [22]
Gyro: Standard Gyro
Structure/Armor: Internal: 91 (Endo-Steel) Armor: 172/185 (Ferro-Fibrous)
Weapons:
Rotary AC/20 (Clan) in the RT 6 tons of ammo in the LT 30 shots
4x Heavy Med Lasers two in the LA and RA
Equipment:
Clan MASC in the CT
An incredibly hard-hitting build, though due to the lack of range, the MASC installed in the CT will help it get into range quickly. I am actually interested in how well these two would fare in a battle scenario.
CLPLs are absolutely evil. If the clans had just used Rifleman IICs only, they would have rolled the entire inner sphere XD A Star of Rifleman IICs can deal with anything ranging from fast scout lances to massive 100 ton juggernauts only assault lances no problem thanks to the absolutely broken TC+4 CLPLs combo.
The rime otter thankfully is not as broken as that but its still quite the killer of anything its own or of lower weightclass. It makes a great bodyguard against fast flanking mechs while having its LRM 10 to fire along with the mechs it guards. It also works very well in any role a medium lance will find itselfe in
Bro, why not just rid yourself of that LP and go full war crimes with four MP and a SP? The ATM9 can deal with the long-range game and you'll buzz saw everything at short and medium.
The Rime Otter has a neat appearance, like a smaller Grizzly, Kind of similar to how the Mastodon has a similar profile to the Arcas, but much bigger.
I also would like to add that Omega Galaxy “The Raging Bears”, are the most based in the CGB touman. I was really hoping the Civil War was more concentrated on the “Freeminders” vs staunch Clan traditionalists than it being what it became, but oh well. Omega Galaxy remains my refuge in a Clan that has taken a serious dive from grace.
I like the Ghost Bears, they seem to me to be the least messed up of the Clans. Their values of history, tradition, and family (however clanners define it) are both their greatest strength and greatest weakness. It's interesting to know that the Ghost Bear Dominion transformed into the Rasalhague Dominion so smoothly and quietly. I guess the Ghost Bears were trying so hard to not step on too many toes that they accidentally tip-toed their way into a new nation.
As for the Rime Otter, I like it. It's simple, and I feel like the reinforced structure and speed could make it deceptively tanky. The low-ish pod space also feels like a calculated trade off. You may have less weapons, but you'll be using them for longer. (I'm also very happy the MF config seems to continue this trend, though I'm surprised you didn't add jump jets)
Love the Rime Otter! This is one of the mechs that first got me interested in Clan Ghost Bear and the Rasalhague Dominion. Can't wait until the official model comes out! Also I enjoyed the discussion of Ghost Bear/Rasalhague Dominion history. For the homebrew mercenary force that contains most of the IS models I've painted, the backstory I came up with was that they were founded by former KungsArme' mechwarriors who weren't interested in trialing for positions in the Ghost Bear touman. And regarding the transition from Ghost Bear Dominion to Rasalhague Dominion, most of what I've read about it is actually in coverage of the Second Combine-Dominion War. I don't remember precisely where I read this, so take it with a grain of salt, but I recall the main impetus was reports of widespread atrocities carried out by the Ghost Bear touman during their brutal campaign against the Nova Cats. This sparked a political movement calling for stronger oversight of the warrior caste and greater representation for both civilains and native Rasalhagians.
Ahhh yes the newest inductee into the infamous 275 Mafia, welcome, we bring you into the family happily.
This is a great example of realistic military development. It is not super fancy, it does not have all the bells and whistles, instead it is based on the tried and true 55/275 combo that is so loved by those of us who have been here for... umm.. right we do not talk age here.
Anyone in western washington I am looking to get some non solaris min/max table tops at the local shop. I would just like some good ol fashion stompy stompy ... no super tech no super toys
loved this video. Not suprised that the ghost bears would figure out that most of us freebirths just want a decent life without much strife, and some respect. Dont gotta like everything about the clans to know if i had to choose one to be occupied by id pick ghost bears every time. Honesty, respect, and not being a prick. good combinayion.
as for the mech in question, i like the C config. but gave me a question. surely *any* mech with a hand and actuators strong enough could technically use an axe if ones available? Imagine an Atlas with a hatchet, whooo boy
they took the FRR and Ghost Bears, my 2 favorite factions, killed them but combined them, and then made them abandon their values in Dominion Divided. All I have left now is my favorite Periphery state and they dont have much.
An insult to Otters everywhere , wheres the cuteness
:O
Easily one of my new favorite mechs going into the IlClan era. I’ve always loved the Grizzly, so seeing the Rime Otter and Mastodon make me very happy lol
Woah, no plasma or a comfort small head laser on the MF variant? Is there a shortage of these systems?
I can't do it every time or you will get bored.
@@MechanicalFrog Nonsense, someone has to keep the plasma miners employed
Those child miners are so adorable in their little overalls and their fingers are really good for getting the small bits of plasma out of the mining machines.
Great video! Looking forward to more.
More to come!
Nice mech tough, fast ,cool and a pair of arguable the best weapon in BT. I would totally run a med star of these and be happy
