Hi. I don’t own the car but if u just make space for a bigger battery or just search for a battery that is just as big (can maybe be a little bit higher) and solder the connector that the battery has (battery has female connector and the plug from the car has male connector) it should work. U could try deans connector but it isn’t the best. I don’t know which is but u can search it up. Hope this helpt
Brilliant little car! The laminate flooring my back room has been perfect for brifting this little thing while I've been recovering from a hip replacement. What's not to like at the price. 👍🏻
The brushless upgrade kit is pretty good to mod the brushed version. In hindsight though I think it’s better to buy the esc & source a better servo (JX for the 144) & use a 2445 motor
Thankyou for all the high quality vids 👍I have the 1604 brushless version and it's super fun. Do you know if the brushed version has better low speed modulation/torque? I find my brushless version has cogging issues going up and down rugs etc. I know it's not a crawler but I may swap to brushed if it's smoother. Cheers John

Start with a 2.4ghz vid which will explain why running more than one will work. Difficult for me to try and explain 20 years of RC experience in one short comment! All the best on your RC adventure!
I was at a helicopter fun fly, as I'm deep into helicopters. A friend had one of these there, and I got to put 6 batteries through it, on the drift tires, and picked the drift skill pretty fast. I'm hooked now. I purchased one, and wanted to know is there any mods needed to be done to it? Thanks, great video
the brushed is just the right amount of power for the size of this car. Brushless is great but less stable and the gyro doesn't seem to perform as good as the brushed version! Thanks

I noticed this recently! I see them post on Instagram saying they have them in stock. This is a game changer that parts will be readily available here in the UK i hope other cheap RC's like this end up being stocked by UK shops! Cheers 😎
@Joe Cassidy what they should have done is offer a separate rx for that radio with the gyro also...i really did like the lights and gyro on the fly option....i converted mine to my own brushless a few months ago and it really moves on 2s 30 plus mph.... wltoys is coming out with a brushless version of 1/12 scale purple buggy next month has same radio as before but rx is not 2 in one and is has a 3 wire also...
Is anyone experiencing stability problem? Seems like the gyro included in the brushless kit is not working properly and keep the car straight is an issue!

i just found brushless up grade on banggood for cheap...even comes with servo...hope its good...other one was not... i will just remove the brushless setup i put in and use this one..23 mph is plently fast for drifting or rally type racing... my other setup does around 40 mph on 2s which is very hard to control...is fun...but again so is 23 mph top speed and that will also be more than enough punch and speed for this little bugger...plus i will have adjustable gyro and those amazing lights!

Take the front 2 dog bones out and it doesn't cog so much and drifts better

Anyone else having trouble with this truck. Won't run in a straight line. Clearly in drift mode. Any help would be appreciated

it is still up there as one of my fav RC cars but i prefer the brushed version over the brushless.
My channel 4 switch controls the speed from slow , medium fast , and fast , it’s so odd , never seen another one do that

The 25a ESC is only 2s compatible i believe and im not brave enough to attempt 3s haha! 😂
