That's about the same amount of time as a regular dishwasher but some models do take less time - for the one I have, it takes 89 mins to wash on a 'Heavy' cycle (which is only just adding an extra hot water rinse). Comparatively, the 'Normal' cycle is 69 mins, 59 mins for 'Eco', and then 29 mins for 'Quick'. This also doesn't include if you turn on drying, which is 60 mins (but you can always just dry the dishes yourself).
I have a portable Farberware Countertop dishwasher that fills and sets up like this one and it has a quick wash cycle of 40 minutes which is the only cycle I ever have used. I love it and it holds one sinkfull of dishes. It does do some air drying at the end but no heat but the dishes always come out sparkling fresh and clean I just dry them off or leave the door open for a little while until dry.
How big is it i ordered one from stonberry it was actually bigger than i thought it wont even fit on my counter ill have to cut off 3 inches of my cabinet to make it fit that one is a lot smaller perfect size measure your space first before buying omg I wish i would of measured mines first
I have a Farberware portable dishwasher that is approximately 14 inches square and it fits on a small portable Island cabinet in my kitchen. I have a old house and the dishwasher didn't fit under the cabinets at all. My set up works fine as I fill it with water with a jug and I use a small bucket for the drain hose. When the machine is done there's a bit more than 1/2 a bucket of water to throw down the sink. These small machines are made for like one sink of dishes or a 4 place plate set with like 2 coffee cups and 2 or 3 drinking glasses. I can fit a sink of dishes excluding pots and pans in mine plus all the forks and spoons that fit on the tray.
It does not matter which is used. I use the pod tabs but I cut it in half as I think it's way too much detergent for a small machine. The pod falls apart but I just toss it in and it works perfect. A whole pod is like for a full size machine and I don't want soapy dishes lol so I chop my pods .. also saves money!
I cut the Cascade pods in half and toss in my Farberware portable dishwasher. The pods fall apart but it doesn't matter and my dishes are always super clean and fresh. I run a 40 minute quick cycle every time and dishes come out great.
Depends on the size of the pot - you might fit one very large one in it. I have a large skillet with a detachable handle that can fit in as long as the handle is taken off.
Don’t know about this particular mini dishwasher but I can fit regular sized plates in mine. I use mine for a family of 4. Can also get pots in there too.
Mine small portable dishwasher by Farberware fits a 4 plate place setting with large plates , med plates , coffee cups bowls and at least 3 drinking glasses and all the forks and spoons I can fit in the tray. Plus I've even been able to squeeze in a couple small plastic cups and some spatulas.
@@doloresleyva8810 I ended up buying a regular dishwasher. I have fibromyalgia so rather than having to do the dishes a few times a day, it and allows me to do the entire days dishes in one go. Or two days even.
You’re putting your silverware in upside down. The stems of silverware should be down, useful ends up, otherwise everything (soap & leftover food) will settle and might not get clean. Using a soap pod is overkill. I use powdered dish detergent. - lot less expensive too.
@@janetslater129 They're the same thing - a detergent pod is literally just powder inside of a package that dissolves. If you're using one of these micro-dishwashers, pods are absolutely the most expensive option (especially if you wash multiple times a day). Switch to gels or powders.
@@rapcorerocks If I had a dishwasher, I would totally be using gels. If the powder doesn't fully dissolve or whatever, it leaves a mess behind in the dispenser.
@@janetslater129 it's also possible, if you have a dishwasher with a flip open detergent dispenser, that plates or other objects in your dishwasher are blocking the dispenser door from opening fully and allowing the powder to be released.
