i just want to remind people that its not always about how long it would take you to do by hand. for some people its about accessibility. I can't stand and do dishes for more than five minutes at a time for medical reasons, and im seriously considering purchasing this thing just to help with my chronic pain. it's not always about lazy people (and even then its still great for them too)
Honestly these type of things are small joys in life. I’m beyond grateful to have a dishwasher and a regular washing machine now.
I have a little dish washer too. Personally I see no difference between having a washing machine or one of these little beautys.
Being able to stand upright while loading and unloading these, to me, seems to be a great advantage over regular dishwashers.
Qbsolutely! Or if you struggle with getting up to do chores this can be an easy way- just load up a small amount of dishes
I would like to add that unless someone else is paying your bills and handling all your other business they have no responsibility for what decisions you making your life and if you wanna have a dishwasher They should not have a problem with that!
I just got mine, and it is amazeballs!! I put in dishes with 3 weeks old stains like applesauce in jars; BBQ sauce, dried up ketchup….bowls with cream based soup on dried up. This machine took care of it all. 5 stars! Works as advertised or better, in my opinion. It’s just small, of course.
Glad you posted this because washing dust off is not a testimony to how well it actually works!
While I understand the comments about this seeming less efficient than hand washing,, I can see this being a fantastic resource for folx like myself who are wanting to conserve water but don’t have the capacity to set up an official greywater system in their kitchen/home.
We waste so much water washing dishes… Conventional dishwashers are actually more water conservative than handwashing is (so I’ve been told) but they send all their greywater out to the septic. Bah! But with something like this you could use biodegradable soap, save your water, and use it later for your garden. I’m gonna see if I can find a used one that I can store on my pantry floor.

This could be a hand saver in these times of excessive hand washing and hand sanitizer usage. Not having to hand wash dishes would be one less assault on our skin. Plus, I like how the machine appears to get to a higher temp than what my hands could tolerate if I were hand washing dishes.

I have one of these and let me break down for you my 1st month with it:
1. It works. I am serious. It works well.
2. You can't fit a ton of dishes in it. This is better for single people or couples.
3. Yeah, it's faster to wash them by hand, BUT when you don't have to...You don't care who washes what.
4. I have been using mine so much (3 times a day) because I am happy. BUT this means I have to chill out wash number 75 is not as strong as wash number 1.
5. Make sure you clean out the insides and drain the water completely.
I would buy 2 of these if I could. I live in NYC. Dishwashers are uncommon in apartments. And my wife cooks a lot.
Grade = I friggin love this thing. I shoulda splurged for one sooner.
I think this is perfect for people in government housing like myself because they don’t put dishwashers in the apartments. I am on disability and can’t afford one but I think they are great. For those that can I think it would be a great investment. Thank you for sharing.

I'm seriously considering buying the midea mini dishwasher which is similar to this, as I have eczema. The less I put my hands in soapy water the better. I'm fine washing pots and pans separately but I absolutely hate washing dishes. It drys out my skin but not only that I'm allergic to detergents and soaps. And I live on my own with my dog. I have an old kitchen. buying one of these will save me money and time as I work full time.

I just ordered this dishwasher today. I’ve had my eye on it for a while but your video solidified the deal. Now that I've been using it I can honestly say I love it. I haven even hooked the water up to the sink. It's just to easy to just add the water. My dishes are as clean as they can possibly be. I'm so happy I bought it.

I live alone and have a dishwasher. I don't produce many dirty dishes a day so I hand wash. I run the dishwasher once a week or even less just to keep it in good order. I think it's a great idea but it's faster to wash dishes by hand for what the dishwasher can handle.

Cutlery, especially spoons, are best placed with handles down otherwise they can get nested together and don't clean properly
My apartment now has a dishwasher, but in the past I’ve lived without one. Never again!
Some us don’t have that option to be so choosey. It sucks not having laundry or dishwasher when at a older age with limited options

Thanks for this video. I have to seat down when I do the dishes cause I have Scoliosis and CP. My kitchen doesn't have a dishwasher so I have to wash by hand. I recently broke some glasses and cut my arm in the process. We are building a better house cause it is cheaper than remodeling this one we are living in now. So my husband asked, "Is there a way we can put a dishwasher in here without doing much plumbing work. " I knew there was such a thing as a portable washing machine. So surly there was a portable dishwasher. 😉 We are looking into them. So hopefully we can get one this month.

True but the dishwasher can sanitize dishes better if you use very, very hot water. Personally I am unable to wash with very hot water, even with gloves.
@@lizhoward9754 We don't really need to live a sanitized life (bar present circumstances) as exposure to germs is what builds an immune system. However, here in America, we've been brainwashed into thinking we do (it's actually more harmful).

You are the only reviewer, and perhaps the only person that has coffee/tea mugs that can fit on that top rack.
I have a machine that looks exactly like it and I love it. The machine uses less than a gallon and a half of water to wash an entire sink full, and it does it well! I love it, even after 3 years. I hope it never breaks, I would be devastated.
What one do you have. I want one but I constantly see reviews "it broke after 3 months", so I don't know which to get.
@@mikeh8416 mine is labeled as a Hava. It is the same thing as other brand names. My son has the faberware, I don't think his is as large inside, or washes as strong. But I have had mine for a few years now, and it's going strong, I use it 3 times a day! I live in the mountains, and the dishwasher only uses a little over a gallon to wash a small sink full. Let me see if I can find the same washer by other names.
@@mikeh8416 they still have have Hava, and Hermitux is the same thing. It's 260 on Amazon. They are a tiny bit taller than the faberware, and they have more space inside. Good luck, if you choose this or other ones, I am happy with mine.

Just brought this litrally under a different brand name. I have 2 children and am a single mom this is the only extra help I am getting. I don't think much of the rapid clean. If it's heavily soiled defo run the baby cycle. It helps so much.
I have a different company dishwasher and honestly I thought the same thing it does not drain well often sometimes you literally have to pour the water out

Watched your video when I bought my mini washing machine a year ago. Spot on then, so probably spot on now. I will investigate this further! BTW for the washing machine tip #1. I am 5' 10" tall. Do NOT wash more than 1 pair of slacks at a time or they will end up in 4700 knots only a seasoned sailor can undo! Happy Easter!

I cut my thumb really badly washing dishes a few months back and i find washing dishes a little bit anxiety filled now. It was the worst cut i ever had and I actually have scar tissue going across my entire thumb. Im also a gamer so my thumbs are pretty important to me so im strongly considering getting one of these.

It seems too small to be worth if for regular dishes, but if I had had something like this back when my son was a baby, I could have used it to wash and sterilize bottles and nipples. Instead, we just had a big pot of water on the back of the stove that we would boil to sterilize.

Looks like a lot of trouble for a few dishes that you could most likely wash faster than dealing with the washer.
Well. You save a lot of water, by doing it in the machine. Try measuring, how much water you use, next time you handwash dishes.

@@andreaandrea6716 - It's not just the water you pour in the basin. Don't you rinse the glasses for soap? Clean the basin afterwards? It all uses water.

It is a useful appliance for some, for others , a gadget. I have been doing loads of dishes by hand for decades. Thanks for the demo. I would like a video on a kitchen decor that could integrate many common appliances: Coffee machines, toaster, bread maker, panini press, air fryer. First! Clear the prep space! No or little prep space makes it hard to chop and prep. Second , how to store , hide some of the appliances or choose carefully their sizes and frequency of use in our kitchens. I have a small kitchen and it is overrun by travel mugs, they are very appreciated since they keep our beverages hot as well as thermos. Thanks.

Looks like soap jamming in the spinners ,how hot should it be? and can you adjust temp?
The time it takes loading up the dishes & adding, water hoses, I probably could wash that small batch in the regular sink. Also the electricity that il be saving.
If you have it on a cart and it drains into a bucket, it's no different filling it than a coffeemaker.
Does it have a trap to collect any type of food particles?

omg never knew these even existed! An external dishwasher??!! just had a baby and have tons of bottles, and pump parts to wash, plus my husband is a messy cooker and doesn't clean his dishes (and I don't clean them either cuz im busy with the baby's laundry alot or buying us stuff to cook,) so i was gonna get this smaller one mainly for my bottles, and cups, silverware, but home depot has larger ones..but you'll need the right type of faucet which we don't... And they're more expensive.. So.. Ehhh 😢

If you put the dishes too close together the water cannot get between them to clean
