I’ve known Jan personally since 2005 and she is one of the most strongest women I’ve met in my life. I’m so glad she’s finally getting justice for Robin and Lisa. 💜
I have a question. Why is the broken door not fixed? I am a single mother of two around that same time. We lived in a bad neighborhood South of Fresno, CA. My daughter broke our glass window. We boarded it with boxes until the following morning. I asked the landlord to have it fixed and I paid it with my limited income. I moved my kids out in that neighborhood to a better place. We kept moving to northern part of CA for a better job and 30 years later, I am now a grandmother of three and my kids are both professionals and I retired as a civil service.
@@justmissjameyI always think that’s just asking for trouble. If I left my door open, I risk having wild animals getting in as well. There’s a ton of bad things that have happened over the years and people’s first response is, “they left their door unlocked, not anymore.” Why wait for something bad to happen? It only takes a second to lock a door. I couldn’t shower with the door unlocked either. 😱

Every second counts on these emergency calls, and I have watched too many true crime videos where the 911 operators showed inexcusable incompetence or total lack of empathy.
She might not have understood her. 911 dispatch often has old equipment. Plus, the background noise, makes it difficult to hear. Also, 90% of the 911 calls you answer are not emergencies. It is very difficult to get information and understand people when they are screaming. Could this 911 dispatcher just be an a55hole? Yes, it's possible. But it's more likely that she couldn't understand what the caller just said. I certainly wouldn't tell someone to calm down if they just found a dead relative.
Oh my gosh, I’ve been saying that for so long and it’s getting worse and worse every week. He actually said that it's his pleasure and privilege to defend this monster.🤮
@@jenniferscott375 because its their job. If they don't do their job, he could appeal and drag everyone through another trial.
@@chonkcat7362 I understand that. But for him to state that it's his privilege and pleasure to defend him was gross.
Well he got his thanks from the POS defendant, didn’t he?
EVERYthing about this "man" is disgusting, even his voice!!! Creepy all over!!
3:45 tht scream really scared me so bad and at the same time broke my heart into a millon pieces... I pray to never ever ever😢💔💔💔💔
I hate dispatchers sometimes. That woman was as calm as she could be. Telling her to call down is ridiculous. I know they have to get the information but that sounds like someone who has lost their bedside manner given the audio clip provided. Of course she was frantic, but compared to other calls she was easy to understand in that moment. I could be wrong, but geez😢
Agree. Just awful.
You're not wrong.
When they are @least half way calm, then they’re scrutinized to no end, because *they didn’t show enough ‘emotion’ when calling into 911!
What about the DNA found on and inside the bodies? Under their nails? Also, why was he allowed to send mail to anyone from jail without it being checked and read..especially when he is contacting his victims mother?
Unfortunately the only mail that's read is the outgoing, you have to report it to your Attorney that the, Suspect is harassing you.
@@DawnRoache-y9n You mean incoming, I think because his mail would be outgoing. For that matter, I would imagine that he was warned not to have contact with the victim’s family and the jail employees should’ve been watching who his mail was addressed to to make sure that he was complying. Figures he would pull such a stunt.
I could never be a lawyer for a person who could be guilty.
I dated a fine man who was a fine lawyer, and they are required to do a certain amount of pro bono work for the benefit of the public....he had to defend a man that did something so horrible, it just took a day or two to try him and get the death penalty and my friend, the lawyer was forever traumatized by having to even speak to the monster
Great coverage. Thank you.
If you have never seen evil before………you have now. This man is pure evil
His defense attorney is his evil minion too. They are two nasty monsters. No defense attorney should attack the victims or jury and judge, they should make it possible for their client to get through the trail and don't lie about their defense because they made them look even worse adding themselves to the negative views as well. They should accept a loss just like they accept a win.
Pathetic excuse for a man hopefully he never gets out of prison!!
Well his appearance sure doesn't help 🤮 he looks absolutely disgusting and scary, his eyes are evil. RIP to Robin and Lisa ❤ 🕊 I can't imagine what they went through
What a disgusting scumbag. How dare he say all of those awful things about her mother. Notice too how he had one tooth and then has brand new teeth courtesy of us taxpayers.
His dentures look like he won them off another prisoner during a card game.
@ LOL!
@@shelli74they recycle ♻️ false teeth. Think about that. They take used dentures and refit them to a new prisoner. 😂
@@chriscordray8572For REALZ??!! Gross 🤢
He is YUCK
May Robin and Lisa Rest Forever in Peace, and may their loved ones find comfort and peace forevermore❤️🩹🕊️🕯️🕯️
What a putrid defense. Barf bag.
I am really impressed with the police department for relentlessly following up on case for decades until justice served.
This was so touching. I am happy she lived those decades to see her child's killer get a life sentence. Her speech at the end was so beautiful. All those sleepless nights for 26 years, and she held it together.
Still beyond me how some lawyers are literally fighting to get demons and monsters back on the street
I wish dispatch stop saying calm down.
What a nightmare he is 👹
What a powerful story of determination, persistence, attention to detail of the whole group of people from day one to all those years later who did such an amazing job. And to Jan and loved ones, peace and condolences for your loss.
Jan Cornell made her daughter proud. Her strength made me proud. Heaven is Paradise & they will be waiting. Thx LE for getting Justice from this mentally ill killer. 💔🙏💔✌️😇😇
Don't tell her to calm down.
Jan is an amazing, well spoken woman.
We have just stared evil in the face.
I actually had to back away from the screen!
20 seconds in 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 .... he definitely got that move from a movie ! Im done!😂
Not funny though 😂😂😂😂😂
He's disgusting
When the mom and Lisa’s boyfriend were thanking everyone at the end I just broke down 😭💔 26 years waiting for justice! To know some people never have this closure! RIP Robin and Lisa.
I totally admire that mother for patience and resilience if that would have been my kid and friend and he said that BS there wouldn't have been enough officers in that courtroom to hold me back
Well done, Jan! My heartfelt condolences to you for your tremendous loss, and for having been the victim of this psychopath. Unfortunately, there are so many of these sadists among us everywhere - even (especially?) in positions of power, which is their drug But you did not give up! I know your daughter is and will always be with you
That's the last thing these operators should say CALM DOWN. This mother was obviously distressed to find what she did. How did they expect her to react??
I often hear it in 911 recordings. Are they trained to say that?
When in the history of calm down when someone says calm down do the person calm down…
Especially when the caller has just come home to find a dear friend and their own child murdered. Some of these 911 operators are as uncompassionate as they are boneheaded.
What he says while on the stand is way out there. Especially after what the defense attorney said at opening.
What a pos oxygen thief.
I think you're being too kind. It shakes me to my core that there are still degenerates like this walking free among us.
24:16 Yeah, the brutal abuser doesn't even show one iota of remorse for his despicable actions?
🤮
A life for a life,no more plea deals,life for a life,
Evil and sickening, my bet is there are many more victims. So sorry for your loss.
That weak woman who lived with him for several decades was surely one of them. She's finally free from this psycho thanks to Jan's perseverance.
