I can't believe my luck. I've been just scraping by financially and saw this release yesterday. Today I finally get paid and I can afford this!! It's such an incredible bundle I'm blown away!
Might be worth warning that with the transition to fab, the redemption codes redeemed on epic store DOES NOT IDENTIFY anymore wich assets you already have while claiming them, soo if you claim some duplicated pack that you already own it will claim the code and don't appear message "you already own this item".. It happened to me a few minutes ago while trying with an asset pack that checked i had before and try to see if the process would get through, and it did.
Yes, it’s better to double-check whether you have each of these assets, and activate the extra keys, for example, on your other account. Assets have a personal license, not a professional one, which is probably why it doesn’t write that you already have the asset.
@@ExumBron what do you mean with a "personal license", isn't the license something you only have to worry about at the time of purchase? and if it is then it doesn't matter because you've already bought them through the bundle, now the license you're dealing with is simply the standard of fab. Does this make sense?

In general, this is not so important; indie studios are unlikely to earn 100k a year. It’s just that those who previously bought on Humble received other licenses, but this is all because of Fab.
Thanks for the tip, I really dislike Fab. I have purchased thousands of dollars worth of assets from the Unreal Market place and use to enjoy shopping and finding assets I might like to have, especially when there were sales. But I am done with it unless I really need something badly as Fab has really ruined the experience for me. Now I have to download items and store them myself and be sure they actually work in Unreal before buying. I also have to worry about two different licenses actually 4 - Fabs, Unreals and standard or full. And now the free monthly assets are only standard use, which could really become a problem if I don’t remember or keep track of what I paid for and use them in a published game. Well I don’t need that kind of mess coming back to bite me if I do produce a game. Not a big deal, but big enough that I don’t care to deal with it any longer, hope it works for Epic, but it doesn’t for me. Thankfully I think I should have enough assets already for most any game I may wish to create.
A note on the "low poly" and nanite guns for those who don't know, most of the time these are used for third person and first person models respectively

It seems rather gregarious that the dozen or so assets from Freshcan, which are about the biggest assets in the bundle, are ALL repeats of items from a recent bundle of theirs. For Dekogon and the others, though, most are new, certainly I had none of them (zombies were bundled before but I don't buy zombies...). I just wish Freshcan had put some that weren't in the last bundle and it would have been perfect! What about the Mediterranean island, Dystopian City or Military Outpost - I need those :-)
this one is "pay more than average" for the top tier. At one point there was literally a 2 cent difference between the middle and top tier. the top tier price is increasing a bit so the difference is a bit more now
Gotta love FAB "Sorry, you are visiting our service too frequent, please try again later.", ok FAB so should customers not visit FAB, lol maybe until they add those comments and stuff back. But all in all this humble pack is a very good deal, just plan on a few days to get them in you FAB.
Only quick cash grab type ones, useful for prototyping, making demo's for investors in my opinion but not ideal for full release because these licenses are pretty much headache all around and even some sellers just rip from other artists to resell like Leartes
Don't listen to this other guy, these are absolutely used in finished projects. The asset flips only stand out because those developers just drop the assets in with no modifications. More competent devs use packs like these as a starting point. They often retexture the assets (saving themselves time on the modeling part) or changing the assets in other ways like adding or removing geometry. You can't just buy these and use them. You need to integrate them into the look of your game. They're often advertised as just ready to use, but that's mostly marketing. Any competent developer knows it'll take work to get them to fit in. But it saves a ton of hours compared to doing it from scratch.
@@swbftor403 yeah, unoptimized assets pretty common and with enough altering you can dodge license claiming it is something independent. I prefer leaving matters like this to studio lawyers
I redeemed the codes on Fab but don't see these in my Library: ia scatter / 1940's Abandoned Office (Modular) / Absorption FX / Zombies - Starved Male/Female Twin-Pack -- if I enter code again, it says code already redeemed. I am sad, I actually wanted 'ia scatter' and 'Absorption FX'
The recent Sci-Fi UE Humble Bundle provided only personal licenses on Fab, which is not too great. So I'm suspicious about this one. Also, too many repeats here. To add the cherry on top, Yarrawah seemed inactive for a big part of this year with no replies to users on their Discord, so their assets support in the future is not for sure (I do wish Yarrawah would return though).
As per their eula. Unless you made 100k gross in the digital media industry in the past 12 months (at time of purchase) you're perfectly fine to use personal license for commercial projects
@@nyomanbandarayani6830 Project Titan uses Nanite meshes extensively. It's not low poly, just a stylized esthetic. But yeah, the point remains the same - its not PBR / reallistic graphic, unfortunately.
I dunno, tempting, but the redemption process + being on Unity + not really much for high-poly realistic... I'm sure stuff could be brought over, but idk if it's worth paying to do the work for things I probably won't use (and if I don't redeem they often have time limits, and if I don't convert it's hard to browse/search because everything is in multiple places) And y'know, PoE2.. lol

That is not how the license tiers work. The terms are the same. The tier only affects pricing when purchased from Epic. You are not restricted in any way.
I personally feel extremely disappointed and frustrated with this deal. Out of the 106 files, 20 are music packs that I might never use in the future, and among the remaining 86 files, 40 are models that have appeared at least twice in previous value bundles! Yarrawah Interactive, FreshCan, and GrayBite simply recycled old models from previous bundles-there's not a single new one! Can you believe it? Just Yarrawah's Military Trailer model alone-I already have four redemption keys for it.
So much of it is stuff I didn't have. I was pretty excited. Then I went through each one, asking if I actually wanted it. Nearly always, the answer was no.
I mean to be fair just the price is worth anyone one pack of Dekogon so getting two id already bonus and the rest is just added gravy . So yeah lots of repeats but even at that price it's not even close to a steal.
I no longer trust music from humble bundle, I used some of the purchased music that they say can be used for games and broadcast and youtube demonetized the video that I used with it. Because of this, I will never trust humble bundle music ever again.
