Same problem. It happens in long-distance drives, and I have to turn the engine off and on again, and the error will be gone. I had the non-return valve changed. BTW I got MK7 1.6 tdi
Turbo actuator fits only the original one but that one you will not find anymore on market. The last chance to save the car is changing the entire turbo

2.0tdi E288 when the car is warmed up and when accelerating in 3rd gear mostly i get an P00299. when the car is shut down for a few minutes the error resets on its own.this error is intermittent. sometimes i can drive for a long time before it happens and sometimes it happens after 20 min of driving. i changed underboost regulator and the other thingy that regulates it also changed one way valve on the vacum hose. today im going to try and see if i can find something what might be causing it.
Have you found the issue with your car? I have the same thing happen with my mk7 golf in third gear. Car enters limp mode but will fix itself shortly after but leaves the EPC light on.
@@jameshugglestone926 originaly when i got the error i changed N75 valve and the underboost pressure regulator. It was fine for some time then i got the error again after some time. This went on about 6 Months. I thought i need a new turbo. If you have this error basically in almost all cases its something with the vacuum system. Check N75 amd wastegate actuator and the vacuum line from the engine to the valve and test wastegate actuator if its holding the vacuum. I istalled a new one but broken N75. That was the wole deal. The car runs like charm now.
@@jameshugglestone926 check main vacuum line from engine the N75 if good check between N75 and the actuator. Do this when you get the error. leave the egine runing. If you got no vacuum between the N75 and the actuator then its the N75.

Bless you, while checking this valve found that pipe is disconnected 👍

Did you find out what the problem is? I turn it off and on, the car runs fine again.

Tengo este mismo codigo en un Superb,la valvula parece trabajar en buen estado, podria estar dañada de igual manera?
I also have this error only when it's very hot outside. I checked the valve with a vacuum pump and it holds the vacuum. Was your valve still closing?
Same here
Any luck with the error code got the same one just changed the non return valve thinking of changing boost pressure sensor
Turbo actuator
@@omaradam8037 how did u sort it out

how do you know that that was the problem and not n75??
Hat deiner auch startprobleme zusätzlich warum kommt der Fehler ?
