    There is so much time invested in this soap and you can see every minute of it. I personally like how the soap turns brown, when planned for it anyway. It is beautiful.

    What a fun way to use a discoloring fragrance! They look fantastic, Teri!! I love the depth of color from the fragrance and the extra two layers on the "bottom" to create interest. You did a great job planning your time to give the soap a chance to really develop that lovely rich brown color!

      I understand, Sheila. 💕 It's a lot of work; it takes me a day to do the voice-over believe it or not. I had to edit 3 hours of footage down to 15 minutes, so I didn't have the time to voice it. 😔 I am not being paid for this. The ad revenue doesn't make up for the time I spend, and people have to watch the ads for me to get paid. I feel what I offer is very valuable, but I get discouraged at times. I don't know what the answer is. 💖

    I want to eat this soap. It looks yummy! Once again Teri you have embraced yet another advanced technique and turned out "delicious" looking artisan soap. This is definitely an advanced technique and you nailed it! You continue to "push the envelope" and come out on top. This video and your previous video show me that the possibilities of making artisan soap are endless. We are only limited by our own imaginations. You are quite efficient at replicating various soap making techniques. You take your art serious and you make it look fun. You are my main inspiration for giving this craft a go. I look forward to the day when you post a video entitled "The Teri Technique". That's the one where YOU reveal your own original technique and design. I know that day is forthcoming. Although I was able to follow along with the help of the subtitles, I did miss your narration on this video. The combination of your excellent videography, your cool subtitles and your sweet, gentle voice always produce and end product that is top notch. In my opinion, you have the best instructional videos on TH-cam. You have a winning formula. I look forward to hearing your narration in the next video. Blessings to you!!!

      These videos take so much work. The narration takes me a day. Honestly, I have my days that I wonder if it it worth it. Ad revenue isn't much compared to the time I put into it. I will most definitely be making more narrated videos. I figured many would miss it. I really felt that the talking would be distracting though. Thank you for your feedback, Victor! I really liked this design Terri. I was imagining the smell of gingerbread cookies and I could actually smell them till i realized I have some scented pumpkin vanilla wax in my warmer lol! Thanks Terri.

    I've done light purple curls in white with a lavender soap before. I think The curls being white and the background being colored gives it even more pop. I may try to make a similar soap. It's always hard to decide what to do with a scent that has a heavy vanilla content because of the color morphing, but it looks amazing here.

      @TreeMarieSoapworks  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh, that would be pretty! You should try the white and black. 💕 It hard to keep those discoloring scents interesting. Thank you, Kathryn! 😊

    So beautiful! I love this technique, and it's amazing to see the different ways people have used it. Ahh, vanillin... so delicious, and so perfect for gingerbread soap... not so much for vanilla ice-cream soap though. 😂

    if you change the scent into something more oriental or into Orange Rose (fleur d'oranger), you can name them Marrakech (a city in Morocco where windows have almost those circles)

  • @jcortese3300

    That's really neat -- makes me wonder if you can't make quilling designs with different color curls.

    • @TreeMarieSoapworks
      @TreeMarieSoapworks  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I thought the same thing, in fact that was my plan, but it was more difficult than it looked. I though the stippling/meandering pattern would have been neat.

    Would it be possible to layer the two colors and then roll them up together like "real" cinnamon rolls, then slice it into discs?

      Yes

    • @TreeMarieSoapworks
      @TreeMarieSoapworks  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think that would work. It would be hard to get any batter down in between the layers, so they may fall apart. I don't know; try it, David. 😊
