@@saabmastertech5852 I managed to take out the console and your video was much appreciated. My problem is the hand brake lever is stuck in the upper position. But still, on my 2003 SS, there are 2 more black screws on each side of the console. These screws are accessible from the sides facing the sits. I'm not sure if your video shows them.
Please could you tell me where is the separation of hand break s cable ? My hand break doesn't work on the right wheel . I don't know if it's under the car or under the central console. thank you
You can watch the video on "How To Remove The Handbrake Assembly". Disconnect the handbrake cable from inside. Remove the rear seat & lift up the carpet. Cut the cable tie holding the handbrake cable. Pull out the handbrake cable from outside. Both cables are identical and separate from each other.

Is this what’s needs to changed if you have a immobilizer failure message and car won’t start?
Try another Key Fob, if you have one. Make sure the car battery, is in good condition & connections are tight. Before replacing the ISM.
